Chapter 103 Century Soup?
Haru was eating cabbage which was very crunchy and fresh. He couldn't stop eating it and felt it was very nice. He felt that he had eaten oxygen and it made him feel that his body was really refreshed.
"The food in this place is amazing," Tsunade said. She could feel that this dish was beneficial for health. She was wondering whether she could take some of it to grow it back in her world.
Luffy didn't say anything but kept eating the cabbage with vigor. He thought that this world was really heaven since there was a lot of food and it was very delicious.
Takimaru was grateful for the food since he was Gourmet Knight. He needed to do several things after he had eaten the food.
Honestly, in his opinion, it was a pain in the ass but no one said anything since they respected him.
They were eating together until the door was opened by someone. They turned their heads and saw her back with two people along with her.
"There are people here?" The large man was surprised to see four people inside the restaurant.
"Do you know them, Toriko-san?" The small man asked him curiously.
"Who are they, Grandma Setsuno?"
"Oh, I met them by chance earlier, I thought it would be good to invite them too to eat together," Setsuno said.
"Hello," Haru knew who there were two people in front of him.
"You're very lucky to eat in this restaurant," the large man said.
Haru looked at him weirdly, "Aren't you the same?"
"Hahaha, that's true," the large man said and introduced himself, "My name is Toriko."
"Haru," Haru said while giving him his hand.
They shook hands while looking at each other.
"My name is Luffy," Luffy said.
Tsunade didn't say anything and drank water since she thought she had never seen him.
"My name is Komatsu," the little guy introduced himself.
"Wow, I don't believe that I met one of the four kings," Takimaru said.
"Four Kings?"
Takimaru nodded, "Yes, there are four kings of Food Hunter in this world and this person is one of them, Toriko."
Toriko is extremely muscular and exceptionally tall with somewhat messy blue neck-length hair. He has three scars running from his left ear to just under his left eye which he was born with. He has strong, angular facial features and somewhat catlike eyes.
Komatsu is a short, thin, and light-skinned young man with short black hair, large black eyes, and a rather wide nose with large nostrils.
"Hahaha," Toriko laughed and looked at him, "Are you a gourmet knight?"
Takimaru nodded, "Yes, my leader is always talking about you."
"Really? How is he?" Toriko sat beside him while talking to each other.
"I'm sorry for bothering you guys," Komatsu said.
"Don't worry, the more the merrier, Komatsu," Haru said.
"Yeah, sit beside me, this grandma is a really good cook," Luffy said.
"Grandma, can I have alcohol?" Tsunade asked.
"Hahaha, what a rowdy group," Setsuno laughed and said, "Alright, I will prepare you something." She took a chicken from the box and started to cook it.
Everyone saw how she cooked the food with a very fast and precise movement.
"Amazing," Haru couldn't help but be amazed.
"Yeah," Komatsu nodded and wondered whether he could reach that level.
Haru opened his eyes wide looking at her trying to prepare one food with a lot of care. He knew that Setsuno needed to do a lot of preparation because it was special ingredients.
Setsuno didn't make them wait too long and served the food, "Dinner is served, please enjoy Garlic Chicken Oyakodon."
They nodded and started to eat the food.
"HMPHHH!!!" They had never tasted this kind of food.
Haru wasn't sure what kind of ingredients were in this food since he was unfamiliar with the ingredients in this world.
"Grandma, more!!!" Luffy and Toriko said at the same time. Both of them were gluttons and couldn't help but wanted to eat more.
"Hahaha, we can eat that later, now let me show you the main attraction," Setsuno said and opened the lid of the pan.
Everyone was drawn by the fragrance of this food. They couldn't look away and they only looked at this soup. They gulped and their appetite increased to the limit.
Setsuno prepared the soup for everyone.
"Is this Century Soup?" Haru frowned since he felt that his quest was too easy.
"Hmm, interesting," Tsunade said and couldn't look away from the soup. She had never seen this kind of soup wanted to drink it right away.
"You can drink it," Setsuno smiled.
Haru and Tsunade didn't say anything and started to drink the soup slowly. Both of them had never felt this taste before and could feel the deepness of this soup.
Haru was stunned at the deliciousness and harmony of each ingredient. Even though it was clear but it was a bomb of taste, 'But…' He frowned since he felt it was kind of missing something.
"There is something missing," Haru and Komatsu said at the same time.
Setsuno was a bit stunned when she heard both of them. She smiled, "How about I show you my real kitchen?" She took off her chef's head and said,
"Your real kitchen?"
Luffy and Toriko were just eating the soup together.
"Grandma, let me drink this soup more!!!" Luffy said.
"Setsuno, let me drink the entire soup," Toriko said.
Setsuno twitched her lips, "We can do that later, let's go to my real kitchen, there is something that I want to show you."
Haru was stunned by the taste but it wasn't enough to sway him, "Let's go Tsunade."
Tsunade also nodded. She was curious about what the ingredient was to make such a clear soup to have such a fantastic taste.
Takimaru also followed behind them.
"This is for me!!! Luffy said.
"No, for me!!!" Toriko said.
Both of them were trying to snatch the pot that was full of soup.
"HURRY UP!!!" Setsuno was mad.
"Y - yes!!!" Both of them said at the same time.
