A mixture of shock, bafflement and disbelief was etched unto the Terror Queen's face. Her expression frozen due to the mixture of emotions.

Seconds went by and the Terror Queen came out of her stunned state, though her face still containing evident incredulity.

"Why? Why are you rejecting my request? What's bad about it?"

The Terror Queen spoke, her voice containing her barely restrained anger.

Meanwhile, Anon hearing her words had his eyes closed and his brows furrowed slightly as he crossed his legs with his arms folded.

His reason for rejecting the Terror Queen's request was not mainly due to the scroll which contained the master-slave spell.

Surprisingly, when he used Record to figure out the abilities of the scroll, he found no inconsistencies with the Terror Queen's words.

In fact, he realized that if he wanted, he could end the Terror Queen's daughter's life with a thought. Along with that, once the daughter had any thoughts of harming him, he would sense it and could administer his desired punishment to her.

All in all, the Terror Queen's daughter would be at his complete mercy and control. The Terror Queen had spoken no lie in terms of the abilities of the scroll and Anon was to say the least, surprised by that.

So why was he still rejecting the Terror Queen's request despite the involvement of the master-slave scroll?

It was mainly because it would be a chore for him.

If his mind had to constantly be on the well-being of an individual he clearly had zero feelings for, it would just be extremely stressful for him.

Not only that, he had secrets and he would prefer it if a stranger was not always around him.

Although there were benefits in having the daughter of the Terror Queen as his slave such as keeping her hostage from the Terror Queen, it was still not worth it in the end.

Bang!

Shatter

"Answer me! Why do you keep on rejecting my request?!"

The sound of glass shattering along with a voice filled with anger resounded in the penthouse apartment, interrupting Anon's thoughts as a result.

Anon opened his eyes and with a frown he looked at the broken glass table along with his broken glass cup. His left eye twitched and with an indifferent expression he looked at the seething Terror Queen, her aura threatening to spill out in response to the slightest provocation.

"I rejected your request cause it's a chore and I don't want to do it. "

Anon spoke indifferently and a gust of wind along with a heavy pressure appeared in the Penthouse apartment, causing Anon's baggie clothes flap, and the broken glass on the floor tremble.

Anon had a calm expression as he glanced at the Terror Queen with cold eyes, meeting the same cold eyes of the Terror Queen.

A few seconds later, the wind and heavy pressure disappeared, and with a cold tone, the Terror Queen spoke:

"If you don't accept my request, you can forget about our business partnership."

She threatened and Anon brows were raised hearing that, an amused expression could be seen on his face.

"Well, it was nice knowing you. You're not the only person I can have a business with."

Anon spoke with a nonchalant shrug and without waiting for a response from the Terror Queen, he stood and with his hands in his pockets, walked to the exit.

The Terror Queen was taken aback by Anon's decisive decision to leave immediately, not even bothering to make an argument about the words she spoke.

She gazed at Anon's departing back and with gritted teeth, she spoke out loud:

"Wait."

She requested, but despite her voice been loud and clear, Anon did not stop, continuing his walk towards the exit of the penthouse.

'This bastard.'

The Terror Queen gritted her teeth and panic flashed in her eyes. Numerous thoughts ran in her mind and a few seconds later, she decided to play her last card.

"You say you'll go to the leaders of the other organizations similar to mine, but what's to say that they'll listen to what you have to say without capturing you first."

"In fact, even if they eventually agree to do business with you, what's to say that they won't stab you in the back in the future? You hold no leverage over them so they can do whatever they want, but for me, you have a leverage!"

The Terror Queen spoke, her voice increasing in intensity as she spoke, frustration and a tinge of anger could be noticed in her tone.

Meanwhile, as soon as she finished speaking, Anon who was about to open the door stopped with his hands still on the door.

The Terror Queen waited with abated breath as the seconds passed by. It was not until Anon turned, his eyes gazing straight into hers that her breathing became more normal, relief reflecting in her eyes.

But just as fast the relief came, it also went the instant Anon's voice drifted into her ears.

"If you want me to accept your request… You'll also have to sign the contract, becoming my slave just like your daughter."

"…"

"What?"

An extremely baffled expression appeared on the face of the Terror Queen as her mouth was left agape.

Anon hearing her baffled word did not respond, but instead crossed his arms with an indifferent expression.

His eyes containing a tinge of curiosity as he waited for the response of the Terror Queen.

The main reason he decided to make the Terror Queen his slave along with her daughter was because of trust. He didn't completely trust or believe that the Terror Queen would one day, decide not to abandon her daughter just so to harm him in the future.

Despite all that she had said, he didn't know her and neither did he fully trust her, so to at least trust her to some point, why not make her his slave.

Having a tier 3 slave along with a tier 2 slave is at least better than just having a tier 2 slave.

As Anon was having these thoughts, the Terror Queen was in a dilemma of her own.

Never did she think that the coward before her would ask her to also sign the contract, making her his slave as a result.

Her pride in who she was, her title, the amount of authority and power she possessed, and her status, made the idea of her being the slave of a tier 1, whether special or not, revolting.

Extremely revolting.

If she wanted, she was hundred percent sure she could end the cowards life in a short time.

'Why is the bastard always so cautious?! Why is he such a coward?! Isn't my daughter enough for you, you now have to take me! A tier 3!!'

'Bloody useless mother#$%&@%×%#&$●'

The Terror Queen cursed Anon a million times, rage flowing through her veins.

A few moments later, she released a deep sigh. She glanced at her daughter and without saying anything, she grabbed the scroll which was placed on the glass table by Anon before he left.

A needle appeared in her hand them she pierced her finger, eventually allowing a drop of blood to fall unto the scroll.

"Slave."

The Terror Queen spoke out loud and as soon as she did, an intangible translucent chain appeared around her neck for a moment before it vanished.

She walked towards her slumbering daughter and with the same needle she pierced herself with, she pierced her daughter's finger also, eventually allowing a drop of blood to fall unto the scroll.

"Slave."

The Terror Queen spoke once again, and as soon she did, an intangible translucent chain appeared around her daughter's neck for a moment before vanishing.

The Terror Queen then walked towards Anon who had his brows raised with slight surprise. She looked at Anon, a cold expression could be seen on her face and with a cold tone, she spoke:

"Let a drop of your blood fall on it and say master."

Anon chuckled softly hearing the tone of the Terror Queen, and despite him already knowing how to be the master of the mother and daughter pair when using the scroll, Anon decided not to make a comment.

He took the needle from the Terror Queen then he pierced his finger, allowing a drop of blood to fall on the scroll.

"Master."

He spoke with a small smile, causing a tinge of anger to appear on the face of the Terror Queen. Meanwhile on Anon's right and left wrist, a translucent and intangible chain appeared for a moment before vanishing.

And with that, Anon had a tier 2 and a tier 3 as his slaves, with more yet to come later in the future.

[A/N: Some of you might be wondering why I spent quite a lot of time on the characters, the Terror Queen and her daughter. Well, that's because they're going to become important characters in the far future. I'm talking about volume 4, 5 or 6.

Also, what did you think about 'Anon'. What did you like about him and what didn't you like about him.

I'd actually like to know.]
