"Whenever people think about poison, what comes to their mind?. What do people, the general people think poison is?"

As Corey and old man poison sat on their chairs, with Corey wondering what his master previously meant by the words he previously said, his master once again, asked him another question.

Corey had a pondering expression as he thought on the answer to his master's words.

"Whenever people here about poison, what comes to their mind is death. If people here about somebody been poisoned, what comes to their mind is that the person is dying."

Old man poison nodded, his hand subconsciously going to his long beard and in the next second, he started stroking it.

"Yes, you're right… But what is your own definition of poison?"

Old man poison asked and Corey's brows furrowed slightly.

What was his own definition of poison?

This question revolved in Corey's mind as he pondered on his answer.

Corey had read almost all the books he recorded from the library in the outer area, and from all those books, Corey was more knowledgeable about poison.

Not only was Corey more knowledgeable about poison, he in a way, also had his own view on poison.

"Poison is a foreign substance which causes a malfunction in living beings. It doesn't have to lead to death, but it can cause a lot of health or physical problems to the person."

Shortening his description of poison, Corey spoke and old man poison repeatedly nodded his head and with a soft release of his breath, he stood up.

"Follow me."

Hearing old man poison's words, Corey stood and with a curious expression, he followed his master.

"There is something most people don't realize about poison…"

Corey's master spoke as he walked towards a certain part of the room he was in with Corey walking behind him.

"Poison does not have to lead to death. Just like you said, poison should lead to the malfunction of the body system of a living individual."

"Poison can be cause a deformity in a person or animal's body. You can create a poison that will make your enemy's leg or arm bigger, you can create a poison that can gradually reduce the eyesight of your enemy or it can instantly cause your enemy to be blind.

You can also make your enemies deaf, disoriented and even cause madness in them. The poisons you create can cause so many negative effects on the bodies of your enemies which doesn't have to lead to death."

"Some people feel that using poison is insidious and cowardly, but for me, I believe that poison users are meant to be feared and have the potential to become extremely powerful beings in the universe."

With a calm tone and expression, Old man poison spoke, expanding Corey's view on poison, showing him that poison had so many other uses against his enemies other than causing death.

A few seconds later, old man poison stopped before a bench similar to that of a lab bench.

On the lab bench were so many lab equipment, though his master's eyes were on a transparent closed glass bowl that could contain around 3.5l of a liquid. Beside this transparent closed glass bowl was a transparent glass box that was larger than the transparent glass bowl.

Corey looked at the glass bowl and as soon as he looked at the glass bowl, a shocked expression appeared on his face.

"The hell. What's that?"

Corey asked with a baffled expression as he looked at the contents of the bowl.

Inside of the bowl were countless moving insects. So many different kinds of insects were inside the bowl that the bowl looked like a bowl of chaos.

His eyes then moved towards the transparent glass box and a baffled expression appeared on Corey's face as he looked at the contents of the glass container.

Inside of the glass box were countless moving animals. Animals like snakes, scorpions, spiders and so on.

Corey had a baffled expression as he looked at the glass box then his eyes moved to the glass bowl.

"Are you preparing gu?"

Corey asked with a confused expression, and he received a nod from his master.

"Something like that… But my main focus is on the insects."

With a gesture towards the glass bowl, old man poison spoke and Corey looked at it.

"What do you mean exactly?"

Corey asked and without replying Corey, old man poison walked towards the nearest shelf and as he looked at the shelf from top to bottom, he spoke:

"I plan on making the last surviving insect kill the last surviving animal... The insect would then slowly consume the dead animal while absorbing it's poison in the process. After that, I plan on cultivating the insect using certain herbs, poisonous herbs and also blood."

"Ah yes. That's the book I was looking for."

Just as he finished speaking, old man poison removed a book from the shelf. He turned towards Corey and without speaking he threw the book at Corey.

Corey caught it and when he did, old man poison spoke:

"Read the book. It is a book about poison, alchemy, animals and the tools needed when creating poison."

Corey tilted his head slightly hearing his master's words. He looked at his book with slightly raised brows and he had the urge to say he already knew some things about poison and that he also had a book of alchemy from one of the strongest being in the Multiverse.

Though he had the urge, he decided not to speak.

He nodded at his master and without speaking, he walked to the chair he was previously sitting on and he sat on it.

He opened the book and he began reading it.

(Around Fifteen Minutes Later)

Corey closed the book due to him finishing the book and with a pondering expression, he turned towards his master, wondering what he was doing.

As he looked at him, he noticed that he was also reading a book with intense concentration.

'Now how do I tell him that I finished a book that had over 300 pages in fifteen minutes?'

Corey scratched his head as he thought about his current predicament, which was not actually a predicament.

But as he was thinking about how to solve his current predicament, a thought came to his mind.

'Instead of thinking about how to tell him, why don't I waste time by checking my status screen… There should be some changes to it.'

As he had this thought, Corey opened his status window and a translucent screen appeared in front of him.
