I was enjoying the perfect fight scene in front of me.
Jin and Thomas were whooping the demons left and right. For some reason, Adelio was away from the group and fought passively, but that was not my concern. As long as they do the job for me.
"Where are you hiding, BASTARD?!"
Thomas was calling someone out, which looked super funny as all the demons replied to him with a 'Kree' sound.
The stronghold was getting cleared and I was keeping an eye on everyone from far away.
In just a few minutes some more humans entered my radius of scan and that made me jump in joy.

The fight continued and the rays of the morning sun fell on the bloodbath happening before me.
Everything was going according to my plan.
Capturing Lisa, luring the group to the stronghold, and making Adelio work for me to clear the mess.
But a problem occurred, far away in the distance, a golden beam of light shot toward the sky catching everyone's attention including me.
I looked at it for a second and my whole being started burning.
'AGHHHHHH!'
It was a pain I never felt in my life, it was like my whole body was on fire and my heart started crying in pain.
Blood oozed out of my body and a smell of burning flesh spread across the forest.
'I need to hurry.'
The light was dangerous and if I didn't awaken the bloodline sooner, then I would've kicked the bucket and waited for my third life.
All the low demons lost their senses for a few seconds because of that blinding light.
I took the opportunity and went near Thomas who was also distracted by the light and kicked his chest.
Out of the four strong presences earlier, only one was there inside the dungeon right now.
'This is my chance!'
Thomas flew a few hundred meters away from where he was earlier. As I broke their formation, caught off-guard, everyone looked in my direction.
"There he is!"
The three of them radiated their killing intent at me.
I once again kicked the ground and ran directly inside the dungeon's cave.

"Fuck that bastard went inside the cave!"
The first girl said.
"What should we do? Jin?"
She asked Jin.
They were fighting against only low-level demons and the greater demons were flying toward the golden light shot in the sky earlier.
"It must be a trap."
Thomas said as he got up.
His face was pale and he was not in the slightest good both physically and mentally.
"Ughhh!"
He got on his fours as blood gushed out of his mouth.
"Lisa…"
His worried voice and call for his twin were heard by everyone. He even tried to use twin telepathy but to no avail.
"…"
Unbeknownst to them, one person had already entered the dungeon after spotting the demon.
It was Adelio.
All this time Logan was aiming for Adelio.
Logan acted as if he don't know Adelio was there and kicked Thomas who was closest to Adelio.

[Inside the Dungeon.]
The most crucial part of my plan was to lure my queen to fight the beast hiding inside.
As long as I was able to awaken my bloodline, I was safe and sound.
'Now we hide.'
Saying this I transformed into a cave bat and hung upside down in the corner of the dungeon.

"Where the fuck did that demon go?"
I heard Adelio's hateful voice and cursing.
Tap- Tap- Tap-
He walked carefully inside the dungeon.
'He must've felt it.'
I was sure that my behavior as a low-level demon, must've been interpreted as I was a lackey.
Adelio continued to walk and I as a cave bat followed him while crawling on the ceiling.

Adelio was left speechless when he found that the dungeon was empty. Not only empty but it was also clean and a specific scent was lingering in the air.
The dungeon had only four floors, and Adelio was now standing in front of the last floor's entrance.
'There is someone inside at third circle peak!'
Adelio's eyes widened.
'No wonder that demon kidnapped and not fought! He must've been following orders.'
As if all the pieces of the puzzle were falling in place, Adelio took out his powerful gears and artifacts.
He was not going to spare the demon, who kidnapped his student.
Adelio put a blue armor and took out his spear and a shield.
He was looking like a medieval warrior.
He took out something like a grenade and put it in the pouch hanging on his waist and kept one in his hand holding the shield.

"Took you long enough! Now come here and lick master or die!'
A womanly figure with a height of around six feet with two long black horns on her head and bat-like wings on her back, an enchanting figure, and silky black hair, said as she sensed someone incoming.
"!"
Adelio frowned as he entered the room.
The demoness in front of him was naked, but that was not his concern.
As he moved he saw the dead bodies of various races lying on the floor. The stench of the blood and rotten flesh made him vomit, but he controlled it.
He looked around to see if Lisa was there in the dead bodies but to no avail. He panicked.
'What if she is used? What if they are tormenting her?'
They were kids for him since he had seen them in childhood. After all, the demons were ruthless. If they planned to use her as a breeding machine, then they will do.
The urge to kill the demoness was high and he wanted to strike her without warning but he held back.
"Where is Lisa?"
He asked in a domineering voice and looked at the demoness with bloodshot eyes.
"Hmm?!"
The demoness got angry.
'How dare a dog order me?!'
She did not answer the question as the person in front of her was just a human.
"An arrogant dog needs to be punished."
She said while releasing her aura. But Adelio was unaffected.
Both of them were at the third circle peak.
"Whatever."
Adelio kicked the ground and supplied mana to the grenade he had.
He threw the grenade towards the demoness and ran backward.
BOOOOM
A crisp sound followed by an 'AGHHHHHH!' echoed through the dungeon.
The space around the demoness distorted and her demonic energy became limited.
SSS-
A sizzling sound and the smell of burnt flesh spread across the room.

'Wow.'
I wanted to clap and appreciate my queen for doing such a great job.
I watched Adelio entering the room and I followed him.
Within just a few seconds he pulled something out and threw it at the demoness, for a second even I felt dizzy.
But the demoness had a high defense and because of which she barely survived.
Clinging onto the superior regeneration, the naked demoness fought with Adelio.
For some reason, she looked dumb to me but I shook my head. Demons are decisive and I knew that at least three of her attributes were above three hundred, otherwise, it was impossible to be a third circle.
The fight continued as the demoness fought with her claws and Adelio with his spear.
Clang! Click! Clang!
'Thrusting his spear at the demoness' heart and trying to break her core, Adelio from team 1 is doing his best to take the advantage, however, the skin of the demoness from team 2, although looks smooth and silky, it is of the thickness that of a rhino…'
As I was getting bored, I started commentating on their fight.
But I was keenly observing the fight between two third circle peaks.
Adelio fought with his brain, measuring every step and countering her attacks while the demoness fought with brute strength and with brazen techniques.
Adelio was at a great disadvantage as his armor was breaking with each hit and albeit slow, the demoness kept regenerating the cuts on her body.
But still, none of them was leaving the ground and I knew that they held some trick up their sleeves.
And to confirm my speculation, Adelio once again shot a grenade at the demoness and dashed to the side toward the grenade.
'As if he will throw himself in the grenade.'
I knew he had something more effective planned.
The demoness smirked and avoided the grenade and looked to attack the running Adelio, however, Adelio was nowhere to be seen.
It was at that moment that another grenade fell on the demoness.
BOOM! BOOM!
Two simultaneous blasts echoed through the cave.
The naked demoness this time froze and fell to the ground.
There were small particles crawling on her skin and getting inside her body.
The demonic energy inside her body started fluctuating wildly trying to remove the foreign particles breaking into her defenses.
"DIE!"
Adelio shouted on top of his lunges. His whole armor was disintegrated in the blast and he was also harmed because of one of the two blasts, but his condition was better than the demoness.
Raising his spear he directed it at the demoness' heart.
And the next second,

Thud-
"Ugh!"
