229 Divorce

Early the next morning, Qu Zhi began to dress up.

She had slimmed down a lot during this period of busy work, but she looked more energetic on the surface. Her old clothes were a little loose, making her look even more petite.

She did not forget to teach Sisi a lesson.

Sisi’s short hair was tied into two small braids, and a bow was tied around her head. Qu Zhi had put on a plaid dress of the same color as her hair tie. Sisi liked it so much that she stared at herself in the mirror for a long time. She was so beautiful that she couldn’t look away.

Although Chuchu was on summer break, she still had a piano lesson in the afternoon. Qu Zhi told her to stay at home and practice the homework given by the teacher, so she couldn’t attend Sisi’s first experience class.

Chuchu smiled at her sister when she saw her off. “Don’t cry.”

Sisi saw her sister wasn’t leaving and thought they were going to the market. She held onto Aunt Hui’s hand and jumped around. “Grandma, buy some tomatoes. Sisi wants to eat them!”

Qu Zhi fixed her little bow. “Sisi, let’s go to school.”

Sisi’s big eyes suddenly lit up!

In her mind, going to school was a special treatment that only her sister could enjoy. She was very envious. She didn’t expect that she would be able to ‘go to school’ today. How happy would that be?

“Sisi, go to school!” Sisi grabbed her mother’s finger with one hand and her grandmother’s finger with the other. She was smiling so brightly that her eyes were curved.

However, when she arrived at school, Sisi realized that going to school didn’t seem to be a particularly happy thing.

She had never seen so many children before.

Some were crying with their mouths open, some were hugging their parents and refusing to let go, and some were chasing other children and fighting.

The class hadn’t started yet, and the scene was a mess.

Sisi was immediately intimidated by this big scene, and her chubby little hands tightly squeezed her mother’s hand.

“It’s okay, Sisi. If we’re brave, we can make good friends.” Qu Zhi stroked Sisi’s hair and encouraged her to take another step forward. “We’ll all be waiting for you here.”

Sisi was still a little scared. She looked over at Aunt Hui out of habit, tears welling up in her eyes.

“Come, let Grandma hug you, baby.” Aunt Hui couldn’t stand it anymore. She squatted down and took the little baby into her arms.

She actually felt it was too early to send her child to school. She could still play for another year, but now that she was in kindergarten, she missed her child a lot.

However, Qu Zhi didn’t think so. She knew education would become more and more strict in the future. Moreover, Jiang City wasn’t like the countryside. If she went to school earlier, she would be able to learn things earlier and wouldn’t fall behind in the future.

“Okay, now, parents, please leave. We’re going to start class.” A teacher in overalls walked in. Her voice was crisp and sweet. “Our little friends have found their seats. You can sit properly now.”

Some of the children were reluctant at first and cried loudly, while others followed the teacher obediently and found a place to sit down.

Qu Zhi gently kissed Sisi’s forehead. “Our Sisi should go to class too, okay? it’s very interesting. Mommy will stay here with you.”

Sisi hadn’t gone to class yet, so she was actually a little tempted. Hearing her mother say she would accompany her, she was relieved and walked over to the small chair with small steps.

“Our little friend here is great. She came to class on her own, right? ” The kindergarten teacher complimented Sisi with a smile.

Sisi felt great. Plus, her teacher was so cute. If she could be praised every day, how happy would she be? She was suddenly filled with a beautiful yearning for this place.

The kindergarten class only lasted until 2:30 in the afternoon, so she still had the heart to get some snacks.

Sisi was munching on a biscuit. She felt that attending preschool was so blissful. It was much more fun than watching TV with her grandmother at home. There were also many children around her age. She had never seen so many children at the market before.

“Sisi, do you like to go to school?” Qu Zhi wiped the excess saliva from the corner of her mouth. “Are you happy?”

Sisi was chewing on a biscuit. “Happy!”

When Qu Zhi arrived home, Chuchu was sitting on the floor talking on the phone. Qu Zhi did not need to ask to know that the person opposite her was Chen En.

In the end, Chuchu didn’t realize they had arrived home at all. Her voice was very high. “What? They want a divorce?”
