Chapter 1155 She Wanted to Die
“I’m all right.”
Yan Shanyue felt that her body could still move and thought her injuries would not be too serious.
Ye Tianxin nodded.
“Aunt Shanyue, wait a while.”
The driver in the car had called the police.
The ambulance arrived shortly and sent Yan Shanyue to the emergency room in the hospital.
Ye Tianxin’s clothes were all covered with blood. She stood outside the emergency room, waiting anxiously. Yan Shanyue’s injuries did not look too serious but she was still worried.
“Tianxin, how did Shanyue get into an accident?”
Qie Wang had rushed to the hospital the minute he received the news.
“Don’t ask me. Ask her!” Ye Tianxin replied in a huff, looking in Li Zhiwei’s direction.
Li Zhiwei tearfully fell on her knees in front of Qie Wang. “Qie Wang, it’s all my fault. It was all because of me that Shanyue met with an accident.”
“Zhiwei… Why are you with Shanyue?” Qie Wang asked in surprise.
Ye Tianxin whipped up her phone and played back the conversation between Li Zhiwei and Yan Shanyue in the restaurant.
She sneered at Li Zhiwei. “Of course, Ms. Li thought that it was her fault that both of you had divorced. She went to look for Aunt Shanyue, asking for her forgiveness.” “It’s all my fault.”
Li Zhiwei was kneeling in front of the emergency room.
“If anything happens to Shanyue, I don’t want to live too.”
Ye Tianxin slapped Li Zhiwei across her face. Her face was flushed red as she stared at the shameless woman.
“Li Zhiwei, aren’t you tired of pretending for so long? Soon, even you yourself will start thinking that you are such a person.”
Li Zhiwei looked up at Ye Tianxin. She reminded her so much of Ye Linlang. The face looked exactly the same.
When she first saw Ye Tianxin, she had suspected that she was Ye Linlang’s daughter. She did not expect it to be true.
Life was so cruel to her. One had to believe in fate, no matter how hard one tried.
“Zhiwei, why don’t you go back first?”
Qie Wang realized how much Yan Shanyue had suffered after listening to the conversation. He had treated Li Zhiwei better than Yan Shanyue all these years. He was full of anguish and regret.
“Qie Wang, I’m sorry. It’s all my fault. If I had not wanted to take my own life, Shanyue wouldn’t have rushed over to save me and get into such an accident.” Qie Wang looked torn with rage. “I know. Can you just leave quietly now?”
Qie Yiyan and Qie Wenyang had also rushed to the hospital as soon as they received the news. “Dad, how’s Mom?”
Qie Yiyan was very anxious. Qie Wang looked even more forlorn. He was their father, the head of their household. He could not afford to get flustered now.
“They are still operating on her. Tianxin said her injuries are not serious. it should not be a big issue.” Qie Wang tried to stay calm for the children.
“All right, we’ll wait here then.”
Qie Wenyang walked toward Ye Tianxin. “Tianxin, you should go home and change.” Ye Tianxin’s clothes were all covered with blood.
“I’m okay. I’ll wait till Aunt Shanyue’s operation is over.”
Ye Tianxin was very worried about Yan Shanyue’s condition.
Qie Wenyang smiled at her affectionately. “Tianxin, Dad and I are here. It’s getting late. Qingcang will come and pick you up and send you home.”
As she walked out of the hospital, Ye Tianxin could not understand why Li Zhiwei did that. If she had wanted to die, shouldn’t she have just found a quiet place to do so?
