Chapter 1738 Chapter 1738. Keep your Eyes Open!

"Grrgghh…!!" Quetzalcoatl was using his hind legs to try pulling out the energy lance in his chest. His body continued to descend as he lost the ability to keep flying at this altitude. His HP was falling rapidly.

"Quetzalcoatl!" Broidrireg called with worry.

"Worry about yourself, brother," Azzarilth uttered. She lunged at Broidrireg who was distracted. The two claws of her forelegs turned into a blur. As her claws danced, the space around Broidrireg was as if torn apart.

During their battle, Broidrireg had gotten the chance to cast a few defensive spells. A water bubble and several floating air shields were protecting him, but these two spells were as if paper when they were hit by Azzarilth's void-tearing claws.

These claws slashed into Broidrireg's body and left multiple long gashes. Broidrireg roared in pain. Azzarilth rushed in then. His jaws were wide open, ready to bite Broidrireg's neck.

Broidrireg didn't lose his focus from the pain. His lengthy body agilely moved out of harm's way. At the same time, his tail stole an opportunity and slammed into Azzarilth's head which had just missed her mark. Broidrireg followed by casting a few spells that sent Azzarilth tumbling away.

"Hahaha, it's good to see that old age hasn't turned you feeble yet, brother," Azzarilth laughed despite getting hit. "But that won't save you."

Jack watched the battle between the dragons with concern. He was thinking about heading over when he sensed strong mana from Master's direction. He turned back and saw a gigantic hand coming his way. The hand was already too close. He was slapped into the ground by this giant hand.

He bounced back as soon as he hit the ground by turning into a lightning bolt. Before him was the Divine Earth Titan. Master was on the titan's shoulder accompanied by his high angel. The high demon and his other summons were surrounding Jack.

"The battle has not yet ended. Who wins and who loses is yet to be determined," Master said to Jack.

Jack didn't find Master's words to be boastful. If that chaos dragon, Azzarilth, was able to win even against Broidrireg and Quetzalcoatl working together, then she could turn this battle around all by herself. Considering this, he had to quickly defeat the enemy army so he could send everyone to help Broidrireg.

With that thought, Jack looked at Master.

Master was simply observing Jack. Jack was in his lightning form. He was virtually invincible in that state. Attacking him would just be wasting spells. Master planned to wait for the Lightning God Incarnation to end before he went for the offense. Until then, he relied on the Divine Earth Titan to protect him.

As he returned Jack's stare, his demon eye caught sight of Jack's eye emitting a faint black glow. He didn't think much about it until he noticed the glow became darker.

"He can't be…," He stopped his thought and hurriedly moved to the side just as a black hole appeared beside him. The black hole generated a strong pull.

That black hole was produced by Jack's Void Displacement Eye. Though this skill had no star upgrade yet, Jack had practiced using this skill repeatedly during their march. He was proficient enough to apply mana manipulation to enhance the black hole's pulling power.

"Rrrgghhh…!" Master exerted all his strength. But even with his immense stats from five classes boosted by his demon form, he was still unable to pull away.

He knew he didn't have much time. If he was still within this black hole's vicinity when the skill ended, he would be teleported. Getting displaced could result in disorientation. He would be open for assaults when he was still trying to get his bearing. Being in that state against Jack who was extremely fast in his lightning form, Master couldn't afford for that to happen.

A layer of silvery light enveloped his body. When that happened, the pulling force he experienced from the black hole diminished a great deal. He shot away before the black hole shrunk and vanished.

"That's soul armor!" Peniel informed Jack.

"Tsk! He is still hiding some trump cards, it seems," Jack pitied his failed attempt.

Master was panting after moving away. "Where do you learn that Void Displacement Eye?" He asked. "Its drop rate is abysmally low and even then, only an eternal-grade monster of level 90 or above can drop it."

"Heh, I don't have the time to answer you," Jack cast Superior Acceleration and rushed forward.

Master countered by using Demonic True Eye's active ability which slowed his perception of time. In his vision, Jack was still extremely fast but his perception allowed him a small window to react. He used Wind God Rage before Jack arrived.

The powerful wind sphere erupted with him at the center. Due to that sphere, Jack was unable to approach. The wind sphere lasted for some time. His accelerated speed was wasted if he couldn't get to Master. He sent several ranged attacks but the wind sphere also acted as a barrier. All his attacks were cut to nothingness when they touched the sphere.

"What if I use Ghost Form?" Jack asked Peniel.

"Don't!" Peniel warned. "The Wind God Rage cut everything, even intangible things. You will still receive damage."

Since it was so, Jack turned his attention to Master's minions. They had been rushing at him after he used the Void Displacement Eye. Even the Divine Earth Titan's hand was in the process of slapping him again. But since he was under the superior acceleration effect, they all appeared to be moving in slow motion.

Jack activated Soul Asura, Phantom Blade, and Dances of the Brave. All these extra swords crackled with lightning. With this army of swords, Jack slashed at Master's minions using his sword art.

Inside the wind sphere, Master waited. Jack's superior acceleration was too dangerous. If he was not careful, Jack could land burst damage on him without him being able to react. He couldn't let that happen. This Wind God Rage should be enough to wait out the superior acceleration.

While waiting, he sent messages to his followers, "Don't forget to pay attention to his clones. He won't be able to create clones again for some time so I believe he will take action soon. Keep your eyes open!"
