Chapter 1625 Chapter 1625. Forced to Leave the Battlefield

At Messephyria, everyone gazed at the massive hole in the wall. Their trance was broken when the Divine Earth Titan took another step.

A giant water whip suddenly shot from the earth titan's back and coiled around its body. The earth titan was unable to advance. The water whip came from Broidrireg's spell. The blue dragon was casting a second spell. The second spell was Telekinesis.

The earth titan's physical strength might be strong enough to compete with Broidrireg who was fifteen levels higher, but the Telekinesis was affected by the Intelligence stat. The Telekinesis took hold of the earth titan and its heavy body was dragged backward toward Broidrireg.

A high-pitch screeching was heard from above.

"Old one, your opponent is me…!" Suzaki had freed herself from the oppressive water prison. She was diving while shooting feather flame darts.

Broidrireg cast the defensive spell, water curtain, to block the attack.

The earth titan which was dragged toward Broidrireg turned back and punched toward the dragon. Broidrireg deftly dodged the punch and coiled his long body around the giant titan. His lengthy body locked all the titan's limbs and prevented it from moving. He then fired his Water Wind Jet Breath right into the titan's face.

While doing that, spell formation after spell formation formed around him. These spells were aimed at Suzaki who was attacking him while he was impeding the earth titan.

Linda didn't just stay idle after the gap in the defense wall was created, she input the command via the war table and sent a majority of their elite troops into the gap. The massive zombie army continued to swarm the wall from all sides to keep the defenders at bay.

Many defenders died when a part of the wall was destroyed. Those who still survived hurriedly gathered at the gap to stop the enemy tide from rushing in. However, there were just too many enemies and the force that stormed the wall was not low-level zombie troops.

Jack's second clone was among the ones who tried to stop the tide, but even he perished from the sheer number of enemies.

"Genesis, have everyone summoned their guild armies! Have them defend the gap. We can't let the enemies into the capital!" Jack sent the message. "Also, wake up the resting army. It's all out now!"

Sending everyone to defend might give them the boost to hold the enemies for now, but they wouldn't be able to do this for long. Without dividing the army into fighting and resting, everyone would get tired after a period. With the enemy's massive number, it was more likely they would get tired before they could defeat enough enemies. However, they had no choice. With that gap in the wall, they would be overrun if they didn't give it their all.

As the battle became fiercer, True Jack continued fighting Master. He had thrown everything at Master, but he was nowhere near to defeating Master. Master not only had an insane number of spells, but he also used his Necronomicon to reduce his spells' cooldown time. There were more than enough zombies for him to sacrifice for that ability. His spells seemed unending.

Jack used his staff's abilities, the Vision Bending and Illios Stare. Master's mana manipulation was advanced enough to form a defensive mental block against Illios stare's mind attack. Master was still able to cast spells even when he was affected by Illios Stare.

He couldn't find Jack while he was in Vision Bending, though. Jack also cast Hundred Mirages to further fool Master. Even so, Jack couldn't land enough damage to endanger Master. Master's demon form gave him strong defense and he also had plenty of recovery spells from his High Priest class.

Master managed to dispel Jack's invisibility by casting Tri-elemental Storm and Enhanced Fire Storm. Both spells covered an extremely large area. Jack's invisible body was hit and his vision bending ended.

Jack's Strength of Hope was nearing the end of its duration. Without the Strength of Hope, he knew he wouldn't be able to compete with Master. Even now, he had already gone all out. Master's Demonization lasted one hour, and who knew what other ability Master was still hiding.

His Strength of Hope ended, just after he was hit by Master's Chaos Beam. He was sent crashing into the ground. He got up and was about to use Reset, but he noticed Master had stopped moving. The expression on Master's face showed that he was having a struggle.

Jack wasn't wrong, Master was indeed in turmoil. This was because he had just received a system notification and a holographic screen was in front of him. It was the screen from a recall plate he had given earlier.

'Damn it! Why is it at this time…?' He cussed in his mind. He then thought of something. He had an idea of who to blame for this. That person had indeed hit them where it hurt the most, except it was not on this battlefield.

"Grrh…," He growled. If he accepted the recall. He won't be able to return to this battlefield anytime soon. He didn't have any more recall plates. Even if he did, the recall plate had a hidden cooldown. The same individuals couldn't be called by recall plate more than once a day. Without one, he would have to manually cross through the border region to get back into Hydrurond. Even with his Qilin, that would take several days.

He didn't take long to decide. This battle might be important, but those three at headquarters were much more important. He might not get another chance to get them in one place. He clicked the accept button on the holographic screen.

Jack didn't stay still for long. He used Reset and used Lightning God Incarnation again. He was flying at Master when Master suddenly vanished.

"Huh?!" Jack was startled by the turn of events.

"What the…," Jack swiveled around, several times. His first thought was Master had also mastered mana concealment. Master probably tried to backstab him. His second thought was Master had teleported away, but then he remembered there was no spell formation when Master vanished.

"Huh? Where does he go…?" Jack asked. He couldn't believe Master left the fight just like that.

He looked around. "Master's summons are still here," Jack said.

Not just Suzaki and the divine earth titan, but his other summons like the High Demon and High Angel which evaded Theridan's Beast Dominance, were still battling the defenders. High Angel was High Priest's level 70 skill.

"As long as he doesn't die, even if he teleported far away, his summons will still fight in their summoned location," Peniel explained.

"Are you telling me he truly left?" Jack asked.

"I don't know, but I can tell you if you just stay up here doing nothing. Your Lightning God Incarnation will be wasted," Peniel said.

"Oh, you are right!" Jack exclaimed. He turned into a lightning bolt and headed to aid the others.
