Chapter 322 - Talk About Kids

Arriving at the hospital, Anna immediately got off the taxi while carrying Haikal and carrying a medium-sized bag.

"How much will it cost, sir?" asked Anna as she got out of the taxi and stood by the driver's door.

"Two hundred thousand rupiahs, Miss," replied the taxi driver.

Anna paused for a moment to swallow her saliva. She took a small wallet from her jeans pocket then opened it. 'After paying this taxi fare, I'll only have fifty thousand rupiahs,' she thought as she looked at the contents of her wallet.

Anna immediately gave the money to the taxi driver and then rushed to the main door of the hospital through the gate which was still wide open because it was still eight o'clock at night. With a bit of trouble, the girl with natural black hair, an Asian face, and about 24 years old, was carrying her foster child while carrying a bag.

Because the last time she saw Alex was in the ICU, Anna finally went straight to the room but it turned out that her employer was not there. She was also exhausted because Haikal's body was quite fat and made her feel sore. She decided to sit in the waiting chair.

"Dada...." Haikal did not seem to accept being invited to rest for a while. He knows that in this hospital his father is being treated, and wants to see him soon.

"Just a moment, son. I am tired," said Anna while stroking Haikal's thick black and yellow hair. She turned to look around the hospital corridor and saw that the doors of the room were tightly shut. "Actually in which room Mr. Alex was treated?"

"Dada...!" Haikal began to struggle again.

Anna was forced to walk again while carrying Haikal. She decided to go back to reception to ask where Alex was. But she accidentally met Louis who was walking with Lauren in the opposite direction from her.

"Sir ...!" Called Anna rushed over to Louis and Lauren who were about ten meters away.

"Isn't that Anna and Haikal?" Lauren confirmed by continuing to look at the girl holding the boy.

Until they met each other, Anna breathed a sigh of relief and immediately asked where Alex was. Lauren and Louis, who were going to check up on Lauren's pregnancy, took Anna and Haikal to the room where Alex was being treated.

In the inpatient room with VVIP capacity, Alex pensively stares at the small photo of Haikal that is always stored in his wallet. Incidentally, his wallet and smartphone at the time of the incident were not lost and were kept by Louis but had been given back to him last night.

'What are you doing now? Did your mom take care of you, or did you just leave you at home with Anna and Sinta as usual?' Alex thought as he looked at the photo of Haikal when he was five months old. The photo shows a portrait of his son sitting and holding a small yellow duck-shaped toy and smiling at the camera.

Check...

Open door. Instantly Alex looked at the door and smiled when he saw the figure who came was the one he had missed since last night.

"Hey... Son! Finally, we meet again." Alex immediately reached out to greet Haikal but Anna still held him.

"Sir, your stomach is hurting. He can make you sick later," said Anna who was now standing beside Alex's bed, on the right side. She tried to restrain Haikal who was struggling to follow his father.

"It's okay. I know what I have to do so he doesn't hit my stomach," Alex said confidently still holding out his hand. "Give him to me."

Finally, Anna complied with Alex's wishes. She put Haikal to sit on his father's right side, while his father immediately grabbed him by embracing his back from the side so he wouldn't fall off the bed.

Bryana and Soraya moved to chat in Aidan's room while Dean and Johnny were in the living room watching TV. Incidentally, at that time there was a live broadcast of a football match between the world's famous clubs.

Bryana was sitting on the edge of the bed feeding Aidyn milk using a special bottle, while Soraya sat beside her holding her son on her lap watching Aidyn being fed milk.

"Why don't you give exclusive breastfeeding?" asked Soraya.

"Because I'm not feeling well. I also want him to have additional nutrition, so I decided to give him special milk," Bryana explained.

"Was his growth slow due to being born prematurely?" asked Soraya again. She tried to restrain her son who was struggling to reach for the milk bottle that Bryana was holding.

"I don't think so," Bryana replied. "He is quite active and not underweight. I always check his health every few days with the doctor who has treated him since he was born, and I also drink special milk so that the milk I give him is of high quality and can make him grow like a normal baby."

Soraya nodded in understanding and took a small doll that happened to be nearby and then gave it to her son so he wouldn't take Aidyn's milk bottle again.

"He looks very normal and handsome ... Similar to his father, but at first glance, I see he also looks like your father," Soraya muttered.

"Yes, you're right. And this makes Dean always want a little sister for him. He wants to have a daughter who looks like me," Bryana said, cradling Aidyn.

"Wait, if you're going to have another child, that means you've had four pregnancies in your life? Looks like it's worth a try."

"Do you want to have many children?" Bryana asked.

"Johnny wants to have many children so that when we are old, we are not lonely," answered Soraya.

"Then, your honeymoon again and pregnant again to have many children," said Bryana with an amused smile.

"That's not a bad idea. How about if we take our husbands for another honeymoon, we'll find a peaceful place together. That's also so you don't remember your dark past too often." Soraya gave a suggestion.

Bryana shook her head. "Aidyn is still very young, Soraya. I'm also still busy taking care of Calvin and Sofia who have just entered elementary school. I haven't even thought about choosing another child. Ah. I never even imagined it."

"That means you don't love your husband."

"Hey, I love him so much!" Bryana emphasized, glancing at Soraya who liked to talk nonsense.

"But you don't comply with his desire to have a daughter, it means you lack totality in showing your love," said Soraya looking at Aidyn who slowly fell asleep after drinking milk. "He deserves a little sister. Or maybe one day he'll ask."

"What if I get pregnant again and what I give birth to is a boy?" Bryan asked.

"You exchange it with a baby girl," answered Soraya eccentrically.

Immediately Bryana glanced at Soraya with horror. "Are you teaching me to do a crime? What a crazy bastard!"

"Hahaha ... I'm just joking, Bryana. If the child you gave birth to is a boy, it's also a happy thing because you have many children as a potential tough guy," Soraya explained with a chuckle.

"Having many sons means that we will have many daughters-in-law. Daughters-in-law are like their own children. So, male or female it doesn't matter. The most important thing is that we have tried to show our love for our husbands," she continued like someone giving a lecture. But what she said was true.. But being pregnant is not an easy thing, making Bryana have to think twice about it.
