Chapter 316 - Sadness In The Morning
At 06.06 am, Dean was up. He glanced at Bryana who was still sleeping soundly in a white blanket. His wife looked so cold that it made him curious and touched her forehead.
"She's got a fever," Dean muttered irritably. .'It must be because of the pressure and trauma from yesterday's incident."
Dean looked at Bryana's face which had bluish bruises on the corners of the lips and side of the eyes, then there were bruises on her wrists as well. maybe it was because Fin's grip was so strong when he tried to stain Bryana.
"I can't get up. My body hurts, it hurts, I'm dizzy," Bryana whispered with her eyes open but very sad. "Just bring Aidyn here if he wants milk."
"What if I buy formula milk for him? For additional nutrition? You are very weak, it will be even weaker if you have to share your energy with him." Dean began to think of a solution.
"Maybe that's the way it should be, but I have to ask the doctor in particular about which brand of milk is good for him," said Bryana finally. Because she didn't want Aidyn to be malnourished and his body to be weak.
"I'll call the doctor later. now, I'm going to the kitchen to get breakfast for you, I'll also take a fever medicine and pain reliever," Dean said while rubbing Bryana's forehead which felt so warm.
Bryana just nodded, then Dean kissed her forehead.
"Stay strong....forget what happened yesterday and focus on your health," Dean exclaimed, then got out of bed. He walked to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth, then immediately left the room.
Dean came down the stairs and came across his mother who was holding Aidyn. "He's awake."
"Hey, your son always wakes up early. Where's Bryana, isn't she awake yet?" Lily asked looking up at the upstairs bedroom door.
"She's not feeling well, Mom. Looks like she's been traumatized and her body is also tired from fighting with Fin," Dean explained with a tinge of sadness on his face. "If you want to see how she's doing, just come in."
"Okay, mom will be there," Lily said then continued walking up the stairs to the top floor until she entered her daughter-in-law's room.
Dean continued walking down the stairs until he arrived at the ground floor to be precise in the living room. he rushed to the kitchen which required him to pass through a fairly spacious dining room consisting of two dining tables.
"Dean," said Louis who had just come out of the kitchen carrying an energy drink in a blue can.
"You just got home or... Have you been home since last night?" asked Dean?
"I accompanied Alex until morning, because his wife came home instead," answered Louis then drank the drink.
"His wife is home? Shouldn't she be worried and looking after her husband?" Dean looked surprised.
Louis sighed, leaning his shoulder against the kitchen door frame. "They're going to get a divorce."
"Divorce?"
"I don't know if this is just Alex's creation or if it's real, Alex said that Elsa was having an affair with Carlos. He didn't want to touch Elsa again and decided to divorce her," Louis explained a bit wearily. .maybe he doesn't get enough sleep because his eyes are like panda eyes.
Dean nodded in understanding and let it all happen because it wasn't his problem. But he wonders why Alex knows about Fin. "Did he say anything offensive about Fin?" he asked.
"No," said Louis, then took a sip of his drink. "I did ask about Fin but he's only going to tell you about Fin and Bryana. He wants to talk to you privately."
"I was planning to see him this morning but Jill got sick," Dean said nervously.
"Sick?"
"Yeah, it looks like she's still traumatized...I'm going to focus on her and the kids today," Dean explained then walked into the kitchen where Susan and one of the waitresses were preparing breakfast.
Louis immediately went to his room because he wanted to rest and at the same time meet Lauren, who he left last night to take care of Alex in the hospital.
"Hey ... You just came back," Lauren greeted as she came out of the room. .he already looks fresh wearing a blue knee-length dress and pinning some of her hair back.
"Yes. Sorry for not accompanying you to sleep last night," said Louis and then kissed Lauren's forehead. "You are beautiful this morning."
Lauren blushed and glanced around which looked deserted, then tiptoed to kiss Louis' cheek and whispered, "You're also handsome even though you haven't showered."
"Then take me to the shower now," whispered Louis.
"Can not. I want to help Dinda prepare school supplies for Calvin and Sofia," said Lauren moving her body away from Louis. She couldn't stay in the house because she was used to taking care of the children even though there is already a new babysitter named Dinda, she still takes care of them but not too often because Bryana asked her to focus on her five-month pregnancy.
Louis pursed his lips, glancing at Lauren in horror. "Your husband just arrived but you're going to ignore him. How evil."
"Please don't discuss it. I'll go back to the room when the kids leave," Lauren exclaimed as she pushed Louis into their room which was located in a special hallway that had several work-only rooms in this magnificent house. . . even if you think about it, there are more employees than the family that owns the house.

In the hospital ...
Alex was still lying weakly unable to move much. He was alone, there was no one to look after him or just accompany him to chat after Louis came home. .he was silent remembering the time Haikal cried wanting to go with him, making him shed tears.
