Chapter 311 - Worried About Alex
At 5 pm, Bryana and Dean had arrived at the hospital. They were sitting in the corridor in front of the ER, to be precise, on a waiting chair attached to a cream-colored wall.
"Honey, your foot is bleeding," Dean muttered as he noticed Bryana's feet were bleeding. His wife did not wear shoes, messy hair and wore his shirt which he deliberately wore because her previous clothes were no longer proper to wear.
Bryana did not respond. She just silently rested her head on Dean's right shoulder. her heart was still in shock, even her body was still shaking because of what had just happened to her. The woman is also worried about Alex's condition which is still unknown because the doctor is currently removing the bullet lodged in his stomach.
"I'll ask another doctor to treat your foot," said Dean about to get up from the chair but Bryana stopped him by wrapping his arm around her.
"Stay here. I'm so tired, weak, I want to just sit here waiting to hear about Alex," Bryana cried sadly. She couldn't imagine what if Alex didn't survive, it would leave a wound for Calvin and Haikal.
Dean sighed, then put his arm around Bryana. "Alex must be strong and will come back healthy."
"He saved our lives even though I always accused him of having bad intentions. I can't imagine what if he... His son is still very tiny, even Calvin still needs him as a biological father," Bryana said again crying in Dean's arms. her face kissed her husband's bare chest because she was wearing his shirt.
"Let's just pray that he'll be okay," Dean said, rubbing Bryana's back.
until a few moments passed, finally the wound on Bryana's feet was treated by the nurse in the waiting chair while Alex was declared safe but still couldn't get past the critical period. Fin only suffered minor injuries and will be taken to the police station to account for his actions after being released from the hospital.
Currently, Bryana and Dean are in the ICU to visit Alex, who is still unconscious with the medical equipment attached to his body that keeps him alive. There was silence in the room, only the sound of the heart rate monitor echoed.
"Have you told Elsa about Alex's condition?" Bryana asked.
"The number cannot be reached right now, Haikal is still at our house with the babysitter," Dean replied.
Bryana sighed rubbing her face and brushing her hair back, then looked at Alex who had not yet wake up. it made her feel very sorry because it turns out that this man still has a good side even though she often ignores him.
"Honey, you need to rest. We'd better go home first. let Alex be taken care of by the nurse and I will ask Louis to come to see Elsa tell about Alex's condition," Dean shouted while embracing Bryana from the side.
Bryana nodded then said "I need to breastfeed Aidyn too... I'm afraid he's fussy."
"Yes. tomorrow we are here again. Hopefully, Alex will wake up soon," Dean said calmly, then led Bryana out of the room.
Bryana walked with a limp. Pain and weakness hit the feet and all over her body. Maybe because she is still in shock and hasn't eaten at all. suddenly Dean immediately carried her without further ado.
"Let me carry you," he cried.
Bryana was silent because she was very weak. She rested her head on Dean's shoulder, ignoring the few people watching her. Ah, I don't know if you think it's romantic or funny.

Carlos drove Elsa home. He stopped his car right in front of the woman's house and was about to come down to take her to the house but the woman stopped him.
"You don't have to come in," Elsa called out.
"Why? I'm worried if Alex is still angry and will lash out at you, hurt you? Didn't you choose to be with me, so I will protect you from now on!" Carlos gripped Elsa's hand tightly, looking at her with confidence.
"I did choose you, but I need to calmly discuss this matter with Alex. If he sees you, maybe he will get angry and throw a tantrum again," Elsa assured.
"Well then, I can't force it but if he starts to be rude, you have to call me," Carlos exclaimed resignedly.
Elsa nodded and smiled. His hand touched Carlos' jaw, staring at his battered face. "You just rest. See you another day."
"I will miss you." Carlos took Elsa's hand from her jaw, then kissed it.
"Me too." Elsa approached Carlos and kissed his cheek. "I'm going down now."
Carlos kissed Elsa's lips briefly then let her down. he watched the woman walk until she passed through the gate the maid had opened.
'Finally, you will be mine, Elsa. and I will fire Alex from my company because he will only interfere with our relationship if he is still close to you,' he thought with an evil grin as if proud to have got Elsa. If only he knew, Alex wouldn't even want to work at his company anymore.

Elsa entered the house looking very quiet. She immediately walked to Haikal's room, but it was empty. 'Maybe she's in the upstairs room with Alex,' she thought.
Elsa also turned to the upstairs room but also did not find her son and husband there. She went back out and called her maid
"Sinta!"
The maid named Sinta immediately approached Elsa who was waiting for her in the living room. She came from the kitchen because she was preparing food for her master's dinner.
"Yes, madam..what's wrong?" Sinta asked.
"Where are Alex, Haikal, Anna...?" asked Elsa curtly with her arms crossed.
"They went to Mrs. Bryana's house," said Sinta, bowing her head. She was very obedient and careful because her master was very curt.
Elsa let out a shaky breath. "He's been there again. It seems like I mean nothing to him. Always, Calvin and Bryana, he puts first!" Elsa grumbled.
Sinta just bowed silently until Elsa walked away leaving her back to the upstairs room.

Elsa stopped in her tracks as she almost reached the top floor when she heard the bell ringing. She turned her head towards the ground floor, saw Sinta moving towards the living room to open the door.
"Who is it?"
Elsa went back down to the ground floor. She walked into the living room and saw a bodyguard he knew was bodyguard Bryana.
"You. What's the need to come here?"?she asked curtly
"I just wanted to let you know that Alex is in critical condition at the hospital right now," Louis replied curtly. because he doesn't like Elsa either.
Elsa immediately frowned with mixed feelings. She didn't expect that Alex was suddenly critical while a few hours ago he was still fresh and fit beating Carlos.
"What happened to him? Why did he get critical?" She asked worriedly. Even though she has decided to choose Carlos, she can't hide her concern and pity for Alex, who has lived with her for years before Alex married Bryana.
"I can't tell you now you better go see him right away, and Haikal is at Mrs. Bryana's house," said Louis...
"Okay then I'll come with you," said Elsa then immediately returned to the room to get her small bag which she always carried while Louis waited in the living room.
