Chapter 274 - Alex's Arrival
At night, Dean asks Fin to take his mother to the hospital because she wants to see Dany while Bryana and he will visit tomorrow morning.
"Fin, take good care of my mom," Dean said flatly before Fin entered the car while his mother was already in.
"Yes sir," said Fin with a nod of his head then got into the car and drove out the gate.
Dean decided to go back into the house but when he arrived at the door, he looked back at the gate where a black car was seen entering his yard.
"Could it be Alex?" Dean was curious.
and sure enough, the one who got out of the car was Alex who was holding his son while carrying a black paper bag. He walked towards the terrace to find Dean who was still standing by the main door.
"You're only with your child?" Dean stared in surprise at Alex who was holding Haikal who was silent with his mouth holding a transparent white pacifier.
"Yes, because his mother hasn't come home yet," Alex answered, somewhat awkwardly because before he had been so disrespectful to Dean or the rest of the occupants of the mansion.
"Then come on in," Dean shouted then walked into the house followed by Alex who was carrying Haikal.

Dean entered the playroom where Calvin and Sofia were playing together accompanied by Bryana who held Aidyn on her lap while playing with her smartphone. Hem, maybe the woman took her baby to take a photo and post it on social media.
"Calvin, daddy is coming," said Dean.
Bryana immediately turned to look at the door where there was Dean and slowly saw Alex who came in holding the baby who was more than one year old. she felt no longer comfortable because the image of when she was seduced by the man, then married, betrayed, and then injured until she lost her fetus, replayed quite clearly reminded her.

Calvin looked happy and rushed to hug Alex who immediately crouched down to hug Calvin until Haikal looked surprised.

"That's fine then. You sit here with mommy," Bryana exclaimed.
Sofia also took the smartphone that was located on the table. It was a smartphone that Dean had provided for her to play games and the internet making sure there would be no adult content on it.
"Isn't your wife coming?" Bryana asked as she stood up to approach Haikal who was being carried by Dean, but her eyes glanced at Alex who was sitting on the blue fluffy rug opening a new toy for Calvin.
"She has a fashion show tonight. So, you can't come with me," Alex answered rather awkwardly.
Bryana turned to look at Haikal who was somewhat similar to Calvin. She couldn't deny that Alex's face was engraved on him the boy's face. there was not a hint of hatred in her heart even though the boy was the result of Alex's affair with Elsa.
"He looks a lot like Calvin," Dean muttered as he invited Haikal to ride a 50 cm toy horse.
"Because they're brothers," Bryana said. stared in awe at Dean's attitude who casually responded to Alex's arrival, didn't even hesitate to carry and invite Haikal to play. She felt that she did not choose her husband wrong.
Dean held Haikal who was riding a horse while Bryana sat back on the sofa with Sofia. The man glanced at Alex who was suddenly kind but looked a little thin.
"Alex, where have you been all this time, and what made you stop fighting over custody of Calvin?" asked Dean to the point.
"Em... I.. I've been in London for the last few months," Alex replied lying. He didn't want to tell him what had happened to him, because the reason he was held captive by Fin was that he was in cahoots with Carlos. he didn't want Bryana or Dean to know that he was the cause of the accident that caused Gustave and Stevan's death, or that he would be kicked out and not allowed to see Calvin again if they found out.
"Why did you come to London? And what made you turn 180 degrees?" Bryana asked curtly.
"Honestly I still doubt your kindness because you are good at acting."
Alex was silent for a while then replied, "There was a conflict between me and Elsa because my company went bankrupt. She didn't accept my situation, so I went to London. but after a long time, I decided to come back for Haikal's sake."
Bryana smiled sarcastically. "That is the result because the property you have is not your right."
"I know I was wrong...I will replace the wealth one day when I have sold my assets in London," said Alex sadly.
"That's not necessary because Calvin already has a wealth for his future. You just save your money for Haikal's future," Bryana exclaimed, still having a conscience.
"No. Calvin is my son, I should give him property," said Alex.
"Alex," Dean called. He realized that Alex and Bryana were hot and seemed to be arguing. "You don't need to talk about this now. For what Calvin needs is not wealth, but comfort and love. Please don't argue."
Bryana exhaled roughly, then got up from the sofa by carrying Aidyn who had been on her lap. "Looks like I have to get out. I have to put my baby to sleep," she said before leaving the room.
"That's better," Dean whispered, letting Bryana leave the playroom and Sofia also came with her smartphone.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to spoil the mood," Alex said uncomfortably.
"Bryana needs time," Dean said. "You just focus on Calvin and Haikal. I need to get out for a bit."
"Yes."
Dean also handed Haikal over to play with Calvin and Alex, then he left the playroom because he wanted to catch up with Bryana who looked disappointed and annoyed.
