Chapter 232 - Stay Safe
Raymond stops his car in the hospital parking lot where Bryana and his father are getting help. He immediately invited Monica and Calvin to come down and walk towards the main door of the majestic hospital. The man saw Louis walking from inside and stopped him.
"Louis, how are Jill and my dad doing?" Raymond asked worriedly, he was even still holding Calvin.
"Mrs. Bryana is undergoing a cesarean section, Mr. Stevan is undergoing treatment in the ICU because the situation is quite worrying, sir," Louis explained worriedly.
Monica, who had been listening for a long time, felt an attack on her heart, her heart suddenly skipped a beat because she was so worried about Bryana and her baby. "Honey, I want to see how Bryana is doing," she said, touching Raymond's arm.
Raymond nodded and handed Calvin to Louis. "Take him home and let Lauren take care of him. Tomorrow, bring him here again with Mrs. Lily and Sofia," he exclaimed.
"Okay, sir," said Louis as he carried Calvin who was very weak and sleepy. he immediately walked towards the parking lot while Monica and Raymond rushed to the operating room.

In the parking lot, Louis was still waiting for Dean because the car he was going to take home was brought by him. he stood holding Calvin while trying to contact his best friend and employer but never got connected.
Louis had a smile on his lips when he saw the car in which Dean was driving into the hospital yard until it stopped nearby.
Dean got out of the car and immediately approached Louis who was carrying Calvin. He looked worriedly at the boy. "Cal..."
Dean immediately picked up and hugged Calvin who looked weak and wistful. "What happened to him, Louis?" he asked.
"He's sleepy and traumatized too. I have to take him home so he can rest," said Louis.
Dean sighed and hugged Calvin once again saying, "Calm down, Son. It's all over. You just need to pray that your mom, grandpa, and little brother will be okay."
"My little brother?" Calvin immediately spoke up.
Dean let go of his arm and smiled at Calvin. "Yes, he will be born tonight. Pray that he and mommy will be okay. Tomorrow, you will come here again with Sofia and grandma asking for uncle Louis to take you. Okay?"
Calvin nodded with a warm smile. he immediately looks back in spirit after receiving the news that his younger brother will be born soon. Hopefully, everything will be fine and the boy won't get any disappointing news tomorrow.
Dean immediately handed Calvin to Louis, then let him be taken back to the house in the car had brought to church earlier. The man turned to glance at his black watch, which read 11:05 p.m. He looked back at the hospital, took a deep breath, and then exhaled slowly. "Oh my God, hopefully, everything will be fine. I believe you will not take my child or wife this time," he said optimistically.
with hasty steps even running, Dean headed towards the operating room. He walked down a long corridor until he had to make several turns and found the operating room in front of him about ten meters away.
dean took a shaky breath and stared at the operating room door which was still closed. Turning to look at Monica and Raymond who was in the waiting chair.
"Is the operation over? Is everything all right?" he wondered as he walked at a slow pace, his heart pounding in fear and curiosity. In his heart, he continued to pray and plead for the safety of Bryana and his son who must have been born prematurely.
With slow walking, Dean slowly got closer to the operating room door until he cracked a smile on his lips when he saw the door was open and a nurse was holding a tiny baby who was crying but his voice was so weak. He rushed over to the nurse along with Monica and Raymond.
"Nurse, is everything going well?" Dean asked worriedly at Bryana's unknown condition.
"The mother's condition is still unstable due to the loss of a lot of blood, and this baby must receive special care in the Neonatal ICU right now, excuse me," explained the nurse in a hurry to bring the baby who was still red and wrapped in a thick white blanket to a special room.
Dean sighed as he looked at his newborn baby being carried by the nurse. He turned to glance at the operating room door, which was tightly closed again. His mind was confused again because Bryana's condition could not be said to be safe. the fear started to creep in, but he tried to stay calm and strong as he remembered what Clarissa had said.
Raymond who had been standing beside Dean also patted Dean's shoulder and said,
"Everything will be fine, Dean. Jill is a strong woman. You know that, right?"
"Yes, I believe she will be strong and hold on for us," Dean said with a stoic smile, then looked at Monica who was sitting back in the waiting chair holding her knees. "Is Monica hurt?"
"She's just traumatized," Raymond said then walked over to Monica saying, "if the Bodyguard team and I were late, maybe the bomb nearby would have exploded, and she ..."
"So Monica and Calvin were held hostage by the bomb?" Dean confirmed as he approached Raymond.
Raymond nodded, then sat down next to Monica who was still looking worried. He hugged his wife from the side, trying to calm her down.
Dean sighed, then sat down beside Raymond. "When Louis and I were chasing the car that was carrying Bryana, I didn't know there was a shot from a distance that hit the tire of the car until it burst and lost control. The car hit another vehicle and things got very messy looks like Gustave died on the spot," he said, remembering the horrific incident.
"Shot?" Raymond turned to look at Dean with a frown. "Did you ask the bodyguards to shoot the car?"
"Of course not, because I knew it would cause an accident. I don't know who did the shooting," said Dean, somewhat annoyed.
"It turns out that someone wanted Gustave's death, even Bryana and father were targeted. Who exactly did the shooting?" Raymond seemed to be wondering who else was antagonizing his family.

Alex and Carlos are sitting on the couch in a bar in the VVIP room. They drank and even got drunk with the two wild girls sitting beside them. They were having fun with the mercenary girl.
"Alex, are you sure they will die in that event?" asked Carlos, already getting drunk.
"Of course. They must have died because the accident was so fatal. I didn't expect you to be such an expert in shooting!" replied Alex with a triumphant smile, then turned to look at the girl on his lap and kissed her lips savagely. Uh, it turns out he's cheating on Elsa.
Carlos sighed, then glanced at the girl in his lap who had been groping his chest until he unbuttoned his shirt. "We'd better get out of here. I want to celebrate my victory for hurting that arrogant woman. I hope she dies and Dean will cry over her body," he said with a wicked grin.
It turns out that Carlos is free and works with Alex to harm Bryana, Gustave, and Stevan. If Carlos was obviously out of a vendetta, but Alex? what does Alex want if indeed Bryana and Stevan don't survive?

Until a few minutes passed, Dean faithfully waited in front of the operating room, finally, Bryana was transferred to the postoperative recovery room after receiving a blood transfusion. Accompanied by Raymond and Monica, he looked down at his wife who looked very weak lying on the bed with medical equipment attached to several parts of her body, even her head was still wrapped in a bandage that was covered with bloodstains faintly visible.
"She'll get better soon," Raymond said optimistically.
Dean nodded, then took Bryana's right hand and kissed it. "Wake up, honey. I want to see our baby with you."
"Oh yeah, maybe we are allowed to see the condition of the baby," said Monica who was standing beside Raymond.
Raymond nodded and looked back at Dean. "We should see your baby. Let the nurse take care of Bryana. You have to see the condition of your baby. what kind of father if you weren't the first to touch your son?"
Dean smirked and nodded his head. "Okay, I'll see my baby."
dean got up, then leaned towards Bryana and kissed her forehead saying "I hope you'll be awake when I get back."
