Chapter 194 - Memories Of Clarissa's Death

At nine o'clock at night, Bryana decided to stay at the hospital to take care of her father who had not yet regained consciousness. She was with Monica and Dean while Raymond drove the kids home so they could rest at home with Lauren.

Bryana lay on the long yellowish-white sofa, while Monica was on the sofa next to it with a shorter size, while Dean sat on the sofa that could only be occupied by one person.

"Bryana, I see you look uncomfortable. Why don't you just sleep at home?" Monica asked, glancing at Bryana who looked nervous because lying on the sofa was not as comfortable as sleeping at home on a king-size bed. Moreover, her sister-in-law is pregnant, of course, it is very uncomfortable.

"It's okay, Monica. Even sleeping in the bed I'm also often restless. This is because the condition of my belly is getting bigger," said Bryana with a reassuring smile.

"Anyway, the gender of your child has been found out?" Monica asked enthusiastically.

"No, it's still hiding," Bryana replied with an amused smile.

Monica sighed and looked at her still flat belly. "I wanted to have children."

"Then you have to be diligent in making it with Raymond. Or, you need refreshing so that your mind is calm like honeymoon, I'm sure sooner or later you will get pregnant too," Bryana exclaimed.

"This chaotic situation does not allow for refreshing or honeymoon. Regarding children, I just surrender to God," said Monica languidly. She always remembered Raymond's wish to give his father a grandchild while he was still alive, but now his father was in a coma, in danger of dying at any moment while he could not bear children.

"I will always pray for you, Monica. and regarding the existing problems, we can only support?Raymond and others in overcoming all problems," Bryana said steadfastly, then glanced at his father, who still showed no signs of change.

Dean, who had been silent for a while with a myriad of questions in his mind regarding the problem at arrow while listening to the conversation between Monica and Bryana, stood up. "I'm going out for a moment," he said.

"Where are you going?" Bryana asked as she changed her position into a sitting position.

"I just wanted to buy a snack, to accompany us to stay up late tonight," replied Dean casually.

"Buy heavy meals too, Raymond and I have a habit of eating at night," Monica exclaimed.

"Okay, I'll go first," said Dean then walked out of the VVIP room. he walked down the corridors of the majestic hospital looking deserted. He stopped in front of the elevator to wait for it to open.

Ting... Tong...

The elevator opened and out came a man in his forties, a handsome man with black hair and a western face. Dean stared at the man who was also looking at him awkwardly.

Dean suddenly remembered the bloody incidents at Gustave's house just because of the man in front of him.

Flashback on:

Dean stopped his car in Gustave's yard because he was going to pick up Clarissa, who had been visiting the house since this morning. After all, she missed her mother. He got out of the car and saw a strange-looking car parked and heard the sound of rioting from inside his father-in-law's mansion.

"What is this?" dean looked at the foreign car and heard sounds like people fighting from the living room, he even glanced at the security post which looked empty but usually always guarded. He began to feel uneasy and remembered that Gustave was a man of many enemies.

"Oh my god.. could it be.., Clarissa is in danger?" Dean immediately ran into the house through the terrace until he stopped in the living room which looked chaotic because the bodyguards from Gustave's camp and the opposing camp were fighting. he glanced around for Clarissa but all he heard was gunshots from upstairs,

DORRR... DORRR

Dean rolled his eyes and immediately ran past the bodyguards who were fighting around 20 bodyguards. he ran up the stairs and heard gunshots and even screams from the upstairs room he was about to approach

DORRR... DORRR!!

"Clarissa!"

it was the name Dean used to say when he ran until he got upstairs and kicked the door where the gunshots were coming from.

BRAKKK!

The door opened. Dean saw a middle-aged woman lying on the floor by the bed with a bleeding chest, then he saw Clarissa who had also been shot, lying on Gustave's lap.

"Clarissa!" Dean immediately ran to his wife who was pregnant and was shot. he crouched down to stare at his wife who was beginning to struggle with breathing in pain from the multiple shots hitting her chest and shoulder.

"HE, HE DOES ALL OF THIS!" Gustave cried, his eyes bloodshot pointing at the shooter.

Dean turned his head to look at the shooter who instead looked scared and immediately ran out of the room.

"Honey..." Clarissa whispered with sad eyes, looking at the Dean she loved.

Dean took over and held Clarissa's head. He immediately burst into tears looking at his dying wife. "You must survive. I will take you to the hospital!"

Clarissa shook her head and reached her hand toward Dean's jaw, rubbing it gently with a smile. "I... I'm happy to be a part of your life... I... I'm happy to be your wife, your love!"

"I'm even very happy with you. You have to persevere and we'll be even happier with our child!" Dean cried in his sobs. while Gustave was crying for his wife who was shot dead.

dean was about to lift Clarissa's body but the one who was picked up refused by continuing to shake her head and holding his hand tightly.

"You just need to save it… raise it and find a surrogate for it," Clarissa cried in sobs holding back the pain that spread throughout her body. she took Dean's hand and pointed at her belly, who was almost nine months pregnant.

"Don't say that, honey. You'll be safe!" Dean confirmed with his unstoppable sobs. he immediately carried Clarissa's body which was covered in blood on her chest and shoulders.

___

Upon arrival at the hospital, Clarissa, who was unconscious, immediately received help in the emergency room. Dean waited for her with continued crying and leaned his body against the hospital wall.

Ceklek...

The emergency room door opened. Dean immediately approached a female doctor who had just come out. "Doctor, how is my wife's condition?" he asked very worriedly.

"Sorry, sir. We couldn't save your wife," replied the doctor with a sad look.

Dean fell silent for a moment as if the world had stopped spinning, his chest tightened and his body trembled. He was weak, his legs could not support his body until he fell on the floor using his knees as support. Tears just flowed as sweet memories with Clarissa began to overshadow his memory.

"NO! HE CANNOT DIE!" Finally, Dean shouted out the anger and pain that was churning in his heart. "Oh my God, why did all this happen to her?"

The female doctor lowered her head to hold Dean's shoulder. "I know it's hard, but you have to be strong because the baby in your wife's womb is still breathing. You have to agree to cesarean section as soon as possible to save your baby."

Dean suddenly widened his eyes and remembered how Clarissa had messaged him before he fell unconscious. He wiped his tears roughly and looked at the doctor.

"Please save our baby, do the operation as soon as possible!" Dean cried again. no longer prestigious as a man, he cried because he was too shocked by the unexpected reality.
