Chapter 175 - Picnic Time
Bryana and Dean with the children have arrived at a beautiful tourist spot in Bandung. The place is almost like a forest but clean and there are several outbound rides, a suspension bridge, a kind of balcony in the tree, and much more. There are also several sellers of ice cream, young coconut ice, and various Indonesian specialties and snacks which are in a special place in the corner close to the outskirts of the location that leads to hilly views.
"Wow, I feel like I'm back in Australia. Here is a beautiful place, one with nature and very cool," said Bryana while looking at the surrounding scenery, then closed her eyes with her head up. She took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.
"Dad, I want to ride that!" Calvin called out to his father who was beside his mother. He pointed to a suspension bridge that wasn't too high with strong ropes attached to sturdy tree trunks. there were nets as a guardrail so that a child of Calvin's or Sofia's age would be safe to climb up there.
"Okay, but is mommy going up too?" Dean asked, turning to Bryana.
"Ah, I'll just wait there," Bryana replied, pointing to the balcony of a dark brown tree about 10 meters high.
"Okay, I'll take you up there first, then take the kids to play on the suspension bridge," said Dean as he grabbed Bryana's hand intending to lead him.
"Honey, I can go there myself. You don't need to take me. I'm sure in this place I'll be safe," Bryana exclaimed, looking at the overly concerned Dean.
"I know it's safe here, but I just wanted to take you there so you don't slip or anything because it's just a wooden ladder, not stairs like at home," explained Dean, then led Bryana to the tree that had a balcony while the children waited with Dany.
Yes, Dany still joins as Bodyguard because Bryana doesn't want someone who suddenly comes and beats Dean like when Carlos used to gang up on him. so she invited Dany to go on a picnic. The bodyguard was wearing gray jeans combined with a brown sweater. He looked relaxed but there must have been some safety equipment that might have been tucked inside his clothes.
Bryana walked up the wooden stairs with the distance of the wooden steps being a bit tenuous. Dean walked behind her to always guard her.
"I think it's as easy as the stairs at home," Bryana muttered.
"But you have to be careful because if you don't step on the stairs correctly, you'll fall straight down," Dean said as he continued to follow Bryana.
Arriving at the top, Bryana immediately walked towards the guardrail and looked at the surrounding scenery. "It turns out that Monica did give recommendations for the most relaxed place. I like it here. All-day up here reading a novel or listening to music, while eating snacks, seems like it will be very enjoyable to the mind."
"I'm going to make it happen now. I'm going down to buy snacks, and I'm going to rent this place for the whole day," Dean said as he wrapped his arms around Bryana's shoulders.
"That means we will return to Jakarta in the afternoon or evening?" Bryana asked.
"Maybe at night," Dean replied, glancing at the view of the hills that looked blue with the sky. "I like here too."
"Look at the kids, they've even gone up with Dany," Bryana exclaimed, pointing at Calvin and Sofia waving from the suspension bridge about 20 meters away.
"Then let them be with Dany, and I'm here with you," said Dean, leaning forward and kissing Bryana's cheek.
Bryana smiled peacefully and glanced at Dean, then kissed him on the cheek fondly. "You said you were going to buy food."
"Ah yes, I will buy now. stay here and don't try to come down without me. I'll be back in 15 minutes," Dean exclaimed like someone was giving instructions. Ah, that's an innate attitude as a bodyguard that has stuck with him.
"Okay, beloved bodyguard. I'll stay here waiting for you," Bryana replied with an amused smile.
Dean pinched Bryana's nose for a second, then went down the stairs leaving the tree balcony. "Don't try to come down!" he cried, shouting.
Bryana just smiled in response while looking down at Dean who had arrived at ground degree and ran towards a food stall or various snacks located about 50 meters from the tree balcony.

in his majestic but not as grandiose house as Bryana's, Alex was sitting on the living room sofa staring hatefully at Elsa who was sitting on the other couch breastfeeding her baby. he was disgusted by his wife for daring to come to visit Raymond's wedding, then was kicked out for doing something.
"I told you, he must just want to show off and will embarrass you, but you didn't listen to my advice. Now everyone knows how bad you are because your crazy actions spoil the party climate there!" Alex continued to rant scolding Elsa. "I'm not sure after this there are still agencies that want to use you as a model!"
"I'm like that because they insulted me first. and the first to insult me ??was your perfect and arrogant ex-wife!" Elsa cried defensively. She even spoke loudly without caring that the baby was uncomfortable and slowly started to cry.
"It's your fault for attending an enemy's wedding. So don't blame Bryana!"
"Why are you defending Bryana? Are you starting to want her?" Elsa asked with a probing look full of anger.
Alex turned his face away because he was lazy to see his crying child and his wife who even accused him of no logical reason. "If I liked her, I wouldn't have bothered taking her wealth just to satisfy you. If I had remained her husband, I might have had everything, but I don't because I love you more!" He confirmed.
"I'm disappointed that you went to the wedding instead, do you still want to seduce Raymond? Or do you want to get him back?" Alex even accused back.
"Oh my God, I can't do that!" Elsa affirmed while trying to calm her baby who was crying.
"If not then why insist on coming? You humiliated me as a person who hates them!"
Alex got up from the sofa and chose to leave instead of listening to Elsa's naive explanation, and also the sound of the baby's crying which was quite difficult to calm.
"DAMN! it's all because of Raymond and Bryana. They must have invited me on purpose just to provoke my anger. I came well as Calvin's stepmother. yes, Calvin is an important asset that Raymond must take from Bryana as soon as possible because I don't want to be poor.. After all, Alex's company is so unsecured!" Elsa monologued with herself while thinking of plans after plans to take Calvin from Bryana.
