Chapter 160 - The Tent In Front Of The House

Bandung...

At eleven o'clock at night, Monica, who was sleeping in a private room in her parents' house which was not too big but had two floors, woke up feeling hungry. yes, since arriving at her parents' house, she immediately missed her mother and father, then cleaned herself and immediately rested in her pink room.

The girl yawned and glanced around her. she glanced at the window, not yet closed until the white lacy curtains flew. She quickly got out of bed and walked to the window to close it.

when she arrived in front of the window, Monica looked down to see the atmosphere outside the house which looked deserted with dim lights around the roadside. her eyes found something strange exactly across the road in front of her house which was an empty lot overgrown with some flowers and mango trees.

"Who's camping there? Looks like when I arrived there weren't any tents yet." Monica squinted her eyes, staring at the mini blue tent and a blue sports car beside it.

.Monica chose to ignore the mysterious tent and went to the bathroom to wash her face, brush her teeth, then went back to her room to check her smartphone which she had turned off earlier.

"I forgot to tell Dean that I was here," Monica muttered, checking her phone. she sat on the edge of the bed which was covered with a red sheet with a floral pattern.

Monica frowned when she saw that there were many incoming messages from Raymond.

_Monica, why are you leaving?

_I'm following you...

_I've arrived in front of your house...

_ I will wait for you until you want to meet me ... I will stay in front of your house.

"Then, the one who set up the tent...?" Monica got out of bed and walked back to the window to see the tent.

Drett... Drett...

Her smartphone immediately rang because of a call from Raymond, Monica immediately answered it while looking out the window.

"Hello, why are you setting up your tent there?" Monica asked without further ado.

"Because I wanted to meet you. if I stay in a hotel or a villa, it's too far. I was afraid you would go further and further and I didn't know that," replied Raymond over the phone.

Monica sighed and patted her forehead. he saw Raymond come out of the tent and stare at her, then wave his hand as if to indicate it was him.

"Raymond, my father will be angry if you set up a tent carelessly there."

"I don't care, even I'm going to your house right now."

Monica immediately panicked. "No. Don't come here!"

"Why? I just wanted to clarify my sacred intention to marry you."

"Heh, I haven't even accepted your request yet!"

"This is an honorable request, I want to ask your father's blessing gently."

Monica sighed, still staring at Raymond from the window. "It's late at night. My father will immediately refuse, even scold you if you propose when people have to rest."

"Okay then I will come tomorrow morning to propose to me. Because you said... not at this hour.".

Monica was silent because she didn't know what to say. Raymond is too tricky to make her unable to resist it. Regarding the answer to tomorrow's application, she didn't know what to answer. It feels like accepting, but ... There's just something stuck in her heart.

"Monica...!" Raymond calls back from the phone.

"What?" Monica asked a little curtly.

"I'm thirsty. I brought food but forgot to bring a drink. There aren't any shops open here."

"It's your fault."

"Are you that brave to your future husband? What if your future husband dies of dehydration?"

"I haven't received your request yet!" Monica confirmed.

"Yeah, I know, but please just give me a glass of water to drink. I'm thirsty," said Raymond sounding sad.

"Yes, wait a minute!" Monica exclaimed curtly, then hung up the phone. She closed the window again and walked out of the room until she descended the stairs leading to the ground floor in the living room.

Monica glanced around at the quiet atmosphere of the house. She made sure that no one saw her leaving the house,?especially her father. because if caught going out to meet a man in the middle of the night, she would get sprayed.

___

Inside the tent to be precise at the entrance, Raymond sat relaxed while eating chocolate and some other snacks that he brought. he smiled at the thought of Monica's beautiful face despite being annoyed with him

.

A few minutes later, the one you've been waiting for arrives. Raymond smiled at Monica who walked from the gate carrying a bottle of mineral water and a container of food. the girl still looks beautiful even though she is only wearing red pajamas with a Teddy bear motif and pinning her hair upwards.

"Finally my savior has come. I'm so thirsty." Raymond immediately stood up and smiled at Monica who was now in front of him. he immediately took the mineral water, then drank it.

"I also brought food for you," Monica said as she handed the food box to Raymond who had finished drinking.

"Why, thank you. You just know that I'm hungry too," Raymond replied with a smile reaching for the box.

"Then, I'm back in the house," said Monica and then started walking back towards the gate.

"Monica!" Raymond took Monica's hand. "I want us to talk for a minute."

Monica sighed, turning to glance at Raymond sadly. "My father would be angry if he found out I was with a man in the middle of the night. He would have a bad opinion of you."

"Then get into the tent. Just give me 15 minutes," Raymond cried pleadingly. "I'm sure your father is sleeping and he won't know you're in this tent. Please...."

Not answering, Monica instead released Raymond's grip on hers and walked into the tent with her head down because the tent was so short.

Raymond had a smile on his lips and immediately followed Monica into the tent with drinking water and food brought by the girl of his dreams.

Monica is sitting on top

The carpet was black and glanced at the atmosphere in the cramped tent. She saw a black backpack, a blue pillow, and a red blanket with a medium-sized Mickey mouse on it. 'Maybe it's Calvin's blanket,' she thought with an amused smile.

Raymond sat opposite Monica and breathed a sigh of relief. "Finally we can talk one-on-one."

"Yes, but I can only give you 10 minutes from now," Monica said again curtly, even though fascinated by Raymond's good looks even though he was only wearing silver shorts combined with a white t-shirt that accentuated his stocky arms.

"Okay, I will shorten the time so that this conversation is finished on time," Raymond said with a warm smile.

"Yes, what are you talking about?" Monica asked, daring to look at Raymond's face which was about 30 cm from hers.

"Once again I beg with all my humility, marry me, Monica. I really can't hold this feeling anymore. I love you, want you to be my life partner, to be the mother of our children.. I confirm, this request is sincere from the bottom of my heart, not because I want to make you a surrogate bride," Raymond said with a hopeful look at Monica.
