Chapter 140 - Unexpected Victim
Dean approached Bryana who had just finished taking a shower. His wife was wearing a pink bathrobe and sitting on a dressing table chair while drying her hair using a hairdryer.
"Let me help dry," said Dean, grabbing the hairdryer from Bryana's hand. "You'd better drink the milk quickly before it gets cold," he exclaimed.
"I don't want to drink milk. I just want to eat fruit," said Bryana, looking at the mirror showing the reflection of Dean drying her hair.
"Fruit, what fruit?" asked Dean.
"Um, slightly sour mango," Bryana replied.
"There's one in the fridge."
"But I want to buy it outside," said Bryana, then looked at Dean, who just realized he was only wearing casual clothes when it wasn't the weekend. "Aren't you going to the office?"
"No," said Dean as he continued to dry Bryana's hair with the hairdryer in his right hand while his left hand brushed Bryana's long hair. "I want to accompany you at home."
Bryan smiled brightly. "Why do I have to be accompanied?"
"I know you're tired because yesterday was busy preparing a surprise for me, then last night I asked you to serve me until almost morning. Now it's time for me to serve you," explained Dean then turned off the hairdryer and combed Bryana's hair.
"Now drink the milk, the bread must also be eaten. After that I will take you out to buy fruit," Dean exclaimed, glancing at the milk and bread he had prepared earlier on the table near the sofa.
Bryan sighed. "Take it, I'm lazy to walk. My legs are weak," she cried.
"Okay."
Dean immediately took the tray containing the glass of milk and bread and gave it to Bryana. And lazily Bryana drank the milk until it was finished, then chose to lie on the bed because his waist still hurt.
"Why are you even lying down?" Dean asked as he followed Bryana to the bed.
"My back hurts," Bryana replied.
"This must be because of me. I will massage you," said Dean with a pitying look at Bryana, who was still only wearing a bathrobe and had not polished her face with make-up because she couldn't bear to lie down.

when they finished breakfast, Louis and Samuel hurriedly walked out of the house to take Calvin and Sofia to school. Samuel immediately got into the car and took Sofia who was also accompanied by Lily, while Louis took Calvin who was always with Lauren.
"Gosh, I left my phone in the kids' room!" said Lauren, patting her forehead.
Louis, who had just started the car, turned to look at Lauren and said, "Take it, hurry up."
"Aunty, don't be too long, I'm worried I'll be late," said Calvin, who was bossy.
"Okay."
Lauren immediately got out of the car and walked into the house with fast steps and even jogged up the stairs to the top floor because Calvin and Sofia's room was upstairs near Monica's room.
In her rush, Lauren didn't notice that one of the stairs near the top floor was so slippery she slipped and couldn't control herself from falling. She screamed every time her body hit the stairs until she stopped on the ground floor with her forehead bleeding.
"Arrhghhh..." Lauren groaned holding her stomach which suddenly felt very hurt, a feeling of dizziness began to hit her head until her vision began to blur and she slowly became unconscious.

Bryana, who was being massaged by Dean, gasped when she heard screams from outside the room. She immediately sat down and looked at Dean. "Honey, did you hear that voice?"
"Yeah, you wait here for a second," Dean said swiftly, then got out of bed and hurried out of the room.
when he arrived in front of the room, Dean glanced around which looked deserted, then looked down at the ground floor where Lauren was lying unconscious and there was Susan from the dining room running straight to Lauren.
"Oh my God, Lauren!" Dean immediately walked towards the stairs until he almost slipped when he stepped on the first step. He immediately held on to the railing so he didn't fall and looked at the floor he stepped on, it turned out to be greasy and even very slippery.
dean frowned and crouched down to touch the slippery surface of the steps. 'This is cooking oil, why is their oil spilled here?' he wondered.
because there was no time to think about the oil, Dean hurried down the stairs carefully and approached Lauren who was lying on the ground with her head bleeding. "Susan, hurry up and get help," he called.
Susan nodded enthusiastically and hurried out of the house.
The curious bryana walked out of the room and was about to go to the ground floor but her steps were stopped because of Dean's screams.
"DO NOT DOWN!" Dean exclaimed as he got up to look at Bryana who was upstairs. "The stairs are slippery. You stay there. I'll take Lauren out!"
Bryana glanced at the stairs that looked slippery because of the oil. She nodded in understanding and remained standing upstairs while looking at Dean who was carrying Lauren's unconscious body.
"God, I hope Lauren isn't too bad." Bryana was worried and remembered when Dean fell down the stairs, had to undergo surgery. She hoped Lauren's wound wasn't as bad as Dean's.

Louis and Calvin immediately got out of the car when they saw Susan panicked who asked for help from the bodyguard who was on guard in front. he immediately approached Susan, but before he had time to ask, he saw Dean leaving the house carrying an unconscious Lauren.
"Lauren!" Louis rushed over to Dean with his eyes wide open to see his lover unconscious with a bloody head and he saw blood also running down his lover's thigh. "Dean, what happened to her. Why is she like this?" he asked worriedly?
"Looks like she fell down the stairs," Dean replied then led Lauren to the car the bodyguard had prepared. Louis also followed with mixed feelings because he was very worried about Lauren's condition.
dean got Lauren into the car and plopped down in the back seat, then he came back out. He looked at Louis, Susan, and Calvin who looked worried.
"Dean, let me take her to the hospital," Louis pleaded pleadingly.
"Okay, I'll catch up," Dean replied with a nod.
Louis immediately got into the car and put his head on Lauren's. He looked sadly at his lover who looked pale with a head that kept bleeding. "Lauren..hold on for me, Aren't we going to get married soon and live together with our future baby?"
Wait! Why did Louis say "Future baby", is Lauren secretly pregnant?
Unknowingly, tears fell from his eyes. yes, Louis was crying because he was too afraid if something bad happened to Lauren. He lifted off his shirt and wiped the blood on his lover's head carefully then hugged her.
"You have to survive," he said then looked at Benny who was focused on driving. "Ben, faster. She's lost too much blood!"
Benny increased the speed of the car with a sense of worry too. He was even a little surprised at the attitude of Louis who was so concerned and devastated by what had happened to Lauren.. Hmm, maybe he doesn't know that Lauren is Louis's lover.
