Chapter 125 - Avoid Misunderstanding
When the time showed 12:05 pm, Kareen finished her work, then glanced at the door of Dean's room which was still closed. 'Isn't he hungry? I'd better take him to lunch with him,' she cried to herself.
Kareen got up from the chair and carried her small bag which was brownish-black in color with trinkets forming a heart. She walked out of her glass-walled room, then walked towards Dean's room.
Monica who was about to have lunch outside with Hera saw Kareen about to enter Dean's room. 'Will she turn into a temptress?' She thought suspiciously.
"Monica," Hera called because Monica instead stopped staring at Dean's room.
"You go to the cafeteria first. I'll catch up later," Monica exclaimed without looking at Hera.
Hera, who knew that Monica was Kareen's spy, nodded in understanding. She immediately walked down the corridor to the elevator, while Monica was about to follow Kareen into Dean's room.

Her smartphone which was in her small bag rang, Monica had to stop in front of the door and reach into her bag to get her smartphone which she just bought yesterday afternoon. She saw an incoming call via WhatsApp from Raymond. because she was still annoyed at his impudent attitude that kissed his lips he refused the call.

Just as he was about to turn the door handle, her phone rang again. Monica immediately answered the call with annoyance.
"What do you need to call me? I'm busy!"
"Monica, I want to apologize for what happened yesterday. You should know that I did it because...." Raymond's words from the phone were interrupted because Monica interrupted,
"Because you think I'm a lowly girl, right? Never mind, forget what happened yesterday. I was never able to avoid you, you can do whatever you want and now I have complied with your wish to stay at Bryana's house, watching over Kareen. I did it. And now shut up, don't disturb my concentration." Monica spoke at length without pause as if she was still annoyed at Raymond who was only paying attention for no apparent reason.

"I'm not doing this for you, but because I care about Bryana! Now that your girlfriend is in Dean's room, I have to come in or she's going to be a flirt!" Monica confirmed, then immediately hung up the phone.

when Monica was on the phone outside, Kareen was approaching Dean who was focused on staring at the laptop. She smiled at the man who looked even more handsome in his formal and classy clothes.
"Dean, aren't you going to have lunch?" Kareen asked as she sat down in the chair opposite Dean's desk.
"I'm not hungry yet," Dean replied without turning to look at Kareen.
"Oh, do you want me to make coffee or something?" Kareen asked again.
Dean sighed looking at Kareen. "I don't want anything. come out, I don't want anyone to misunderstand because it's just the two of us, even outside all the employees are having lunch in the canteen, in the restaurant...."
"You kicked me out? Why did you turn arrogant like this? Is it because your wife is more attractive, richer, that you ignore me who has always been there for you?" Kareen felt a deep hurt because of Dean's rejection. Her eyes started to tear up as if she was hurt. Or ... maybe it was just a charade to get Dean to care about her.
"Kareen, I will never forget how you have helped me a lot. But look at the conditions, the employees will have a bad opinion because they don't understand that we have known each other for a long time." Dean confirmed.
"There's no need to act on behalf of employees, you're like this because you're afraid of your wife, right was it?" Kareen was accused of squinting at Dean. She smiled sarcastically and wiped away the tears that had fallen from her eyes.
Dean turned his face away. he doesn't like seeing a woman cry just because of a little problem, because he knows that Kareen has always had convenience in everything, compared to Bryana who is full of wealth but has a dark past.
"I feel sorry for you. She did elevate you but she put you in a low position as a husband. She looked down on you, even I was always low in the eyes of her." Kareen even vilified Bryana.
"She's not like that. She respects me a lot and she is the best wife. I don't feel low because I'm working like this too to protect her feelings, respect her as a mother of my child!" Dean confirmed with a disappointed look at Kareen who had bad judgment about Bryana.
"But still ...." Kareen's words stopped when Monica came into the room. She glanced at her cousin curtly, then got up from the chair and quickly left the room.
"What is wrong with her?" Monica asked as she sat down in the chair opposite Dean.
"It's okay," Dean replied dryly, still disappointed with Kareen's attitude.
Kareen, who had just left, accidentally bumped into Bryana who was about to enter Dean's room. She smiled at Bryana briefly, then left.
'She's from Dean's room when everyone's out for lunch? did she just tease Dean?' Bryana thought starting to feel uncomfortable. She immediately entered and saw her husband talking to Monica.
"Honey," Dean called with a smile when he saw Bryana coming. 'Good thing Kareen is out and Monica is here. if not, she must be jealous and will be angry,' he thought with relief.
Monica turned to look at Bryan. "Bryana."
Bryana sat down in the chair right next to Monica. "Just now, why did Kareen come here?"
"We're just talking about an important matter about the company. She just came out for lunch," Monica lied.
"Yes, honey. Shall we go straight to the restaurant right now?" Dean asked distracting Bryana.
"Now that's fine too, you must be hungry too, right?" Bryana turned to look at Monica. "Would you like to join us for lunch, Monica?"
"No, I have an appointment for lunch with Hera. You two are alone," Monica replied with a smile. She immediately got up from her chair and excused herself to go out.
when Monica was out, Bryana walked over to Dean and sat on his lap. She adjusted her husband's tie as she said, "I thought you were alone with Kareen, it turns out there was Monica too. I was starting to get restless because I was worried you would be teased by Kareen."
"Honey," Dean called, brushing a strand of Bryana's hair that was on her cheek. "Don't keep thinking like that. Stay calm because I'm only yours."
"I also don't know why I can be so possessive like this. You will be uncomfortable with my attitude..." Bryana bends her face and looks sad.
"No, I'm not uncomfortable. Instead, I'm happy because I'm loved so much," said Dean with a look full of confidence.

"I'm always grateful for being loved by a perfect woman like you. there's no reason for me to feel uncomfortable because of your attitude. I know this is because you are pregnant, I understand that," Dean said with an intense look.
"Thank you for understanding me," Bryana replied then kissed Dean on the lips a little aggressively. it seemed that Monica's timely arrival could prevent any misunderstandings from occurring.
