“Oho?!” I beamed, marveling at the System Window.

My achievements were nothing to scoff at, so it was clear that I would be rewarded handsomely. Still, who would have thought I would receive a Grand Prize?

“Alright! Let’s see what I’ve got!”

**********

In short, I received both the reward of the 99th Floor and this Hidden one.

The Gear and Soul of Helios could not be retrieved by the System, so I was given additional Karma Points.

As for the other rewards gotten from the 99th Floor, I gained the Title: Grand General Of Death, as well as a single Skill allowing me to Summon Undead Of The Highest Tier possible.

Grade 4 Undead!

That was incredible, since most of my elites belonged to this Grade already.

I received more Potions as Items, including a Resurrection Elixir that could come in handy.

Of course, since I already had Helios’ Mantle, I didn’t really need it. Still, it could come in handy later on.

The Elixir had a total of three uses, so I had to be careful about it.

The haul on the 99th Floor was quite something, but it was incomparable to the stuff I gained from the Hidden one.

************

“This is… amazing…”

Now Level 571, having a great deal of Skills and Titles at my disposal… it truly was incredible.

“Haa… this journey has been worth it.”

I collapsed on the ground, heaving a sigh of relief.

It was so hard, grinding with all I had, just to get to this point. Finally, I was able to conquer one of the Towers.

Still, there were three more to go.

Fortunately, one of my Titles, ‘Tower’s Champion’ granted me the special privilege of climbing the Tower alone. In essence, I didn’t need those chumps anymore.

‘Should I plunder all they have and kill them?’

No. That would be bad.

The problem with those actions was my Alignment.

From the Third Scenario onward, some restrictions would be placed on those with Evil Alignments. Plus, there would be times when forming connections was necessary.

I couldn’t let this Alignment weigh me down forever.

Fortunately, Alignment changed based on actions.

I saved those guys earlier, canceling out what I did to put them in danger. I also carried them this far, and I had their gratitude. This had to count for a lot.

However…

[.]

Alignment: Neutral Evil

[.]

… My Alignment remained the same.

“Shit!” I had no time to be worrying about this…

The Third Scenario could wait.

For now, I just needed to focus on doing what I could. I had been helping so many people, yet it hardly made a dent in my Alignment.

There was nothing more to do than simply give my all to the other Towers and get stronger.

Many victims existed in the Towers, right? I would be able to score some more goodwill from people.

‘For now, let’s get out of here…’

I put all my Enslaved Souls into the Spirit Ring, determined to experiment some more once I got out of the Tower.

For now, I wanted fresh air… and the view of the dystopian landscape that covered the world.

“Oh, yeah. That Death guy dropped something!” My mind rang, and I checked [Subspace] to see what I had.

I saw the icon.

The image looked like a misshapen black stone. It had some sort of purple glow at the center. And the name?

“Death Essence Core, huh?”

My thoughts began to consider certain possibilities, and slowly, I changed my mind.

“Why don’t I stick around for much longer? Let’s get this over with!”

All my Rewards—the Items, Skills, Titles, and Magic—could just be experimented on here.

Once I was done, I would simply make my exit.

“Alright, then… let us begin.”

****************

It took a great deal of time to sort through everything, but… finally… I was able to finalize all I had in store.

As stressful as the process was, I found it extremely fun—especially considering the fact that I was now much stronger than before.

Not to brag, but… I was most definitely the strongest in the world.

No gate opened up for me to exit the dark place, so I had to utilize a Return Stone. The Item took me to the 99th Floor, and from there, I boarded a gate back to the regular world—outside the Tower.

>SHIIIIINNNGGGG!!!<

I was met with light and the space around me began to contort. Soon, I arrived at my Shelter. Bright lights made from cores illuminated the invisible fortress.

It was a mansion I created for myself using [Subspace]. Not only was it mobile, but I could also customize it whenever I wanted. I made sure to add features to it occasionally, making it evolve as time went on.

The defense was enough to ward away even low-level Grade 4 Demons, but I planned on strengthening it even further.

“Huu… time to relax on my bed!”

I made my way to the bed—since I was directly transported to my wide bedroom from the Tower.

It was a massive King Size structure that boasted great comfort and durability. Once I sank in its goodness, I grinned at myself with satisfaction.

“Leaderboard,” I called out.

Instantly, a Panel appeared in front of my laid-back body and I saw the Rankings. As expected, I was still at the top.

~1st Place: The Hoarder~

‘Hehehe’

[SYSTEM ANNOUNCEMENT!]

<The Tower Of Death Has Been Cleared!>

My grin widened once I saw this.

It was fun seeing the System announce my achievements. This Announcement was going to be broadcast to every Gifted on the globe. As a result, many people would be plunged into chaos and confusion.

I could already imagine their faces.

“Welp, I’ll be clearing the other three soon…” I laughed.

‘I should sell some more Items on the Auction too… especially those Return Stones.’

It would be a waste to keep the things that I didn’t need. Especially if they were considered valuable.

‘I’ll put them on the Auction Section and jack up the price. Hehehe…’

Usually, a person could only purchase one Return Stone from the SHOP. Not only were they expensive, but they were also limited to one per Gifted. This was another reason Gifteds traveled as a Party.

That way, they had more people with Return Stones.

Since many System functions, like SHOP, were not functional in the Towers, many Gifteds liked to stock up before entering the Tower.

Another critical factor was that certain Items in the SHOP got ‘Sold Out’ at some point, and it took some time before they got restocked. The Return Stone was one of those.

But, in Auctions, none of the General SHOP policies were present. As long as Gifteds could pay, they would get their goods.

That was why, even if I raised the price of the Return Stones, people would still patronize me.

It was good business!

Of course, I had other trash items I wanted to sell—the things I obtained from the Lower Floors of the Tower wouldn’t really do me much good at this point. Of course, to some people, those Items would be blessings.

‘Pfft…’

I already had over two million Karma Points—no, close to three—but I wasn’t satisfied in the slightest.

More. More. More. I wanted even more!

With that in mind, nothing would satisfy me now.

‘Okay, let’s see what junks I can Auction off…’

As I was rummaging through my [Subspace], a System ping rang out, startling me a bit.

‘Urgh, what now?’ I rolled my eyes as I looked at the Window in front of me.

Instantly, my eyes popped wide open and my jaws dropped.

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

“No… this can’t be…” My quivering lips muttered.

It was crazy! It had to be impossible!

No one but me should have been able to do something like this yet.
