Hal followed up his kick with an upward slam of his scepter into Amador's chaotic self and his sovereign authority shook the very foundations of the power that held Amador's gigantic form together.

Amador let loose a blast of chaotic energy but Hal shielded himself with Infinity that brushed the attack aside and then he went on to deliver yet another hit of his scythe to Amador's head.

With a wide grin, Hal summoned his Devil Trident, and with his body glowing even know more with his Sovereign might, he stabbed his trident into Amador's gigantic head and spilled the Emperor's blood.

The blood gushed as though from a geyser and it mixed with Amador's chaotic energy. Before Hal could rejoice or deliver the finishing blow, the blood he spilled from Amador went from liquid to gaseous and thick with primordial chaotic energy which instantly spread all over Hal's created dimension and shook it to the point where cracks began to show.

Outside the dimension, where the Imperial Palace courtyards were already filled with the carcass of all Haron Experts who had met their end at the hands of Aspasia, Phaedra, and Reyna, the Pseudo-throne room shook and the epicenter of its vibrations was Amador's throne.

The actual seat of the Throne was tossed aside and the altar within became clear and began to glow green with Haron bloodline energy. The brighter it glowed, the less it felt like the Haron Bloodline energy and the more it felt like the energy of a Primeval.

The Altar became covered by a massive spell circle and all over the Nexus world, wherever there was a member of the Haron family, said member would experience the most excruciating pain as their bloodline and cultivation were stripped from them... Turning them into husks whose lives were hanging by a thread.

Not all Harons had died in the many battles that had ensued. There were those, like Creten Haron, the Prince, who sought to live and fight another day but they were not spared from the treatment of the Altar.

Creten was with the many other inhabitants of the Imperial Palace who were making their escape from the battle when he fell to the ground and yelled as his very essence was ripped from him.

Harlyn was in a meeting with the Elders of the Royal Academy and directing them not to get involved with the battle of the Harons and it honestly did not take much for her to convince them to be inactive as many of them had been after the downfalls of the Harons anyway.

They wondered why Harlyn was now against her family and while there were guesses as to what had caused her turn, it did not really matter in the grand scheme of them all boycotting the battle.

While the battle was ongoing, all Royal Academy Elders had authorized their families to be taking advantage of the lack of monsterization in the Imperial City to plan a takeover of territories.

There was discourse in regards to how far they wished to go in regards to takeovers with many claiming that whoever came out victorious in the battle would be weak enough to be trampled while a more sensible few believed the Sapphirine Cult would win and would still be too mighty of a force to contend with.

Anyway, it was while in a meeting with the Elders that Harlyn had her episode and was promptly swallowed by a portal into the Harem Space.

Unlike the deathly fate of the other Harons, Harlyn had the backing of Hal who protected her cultivation but allowed her bloodline to be taken so that he could replace it with a derivative of his own.

Her body stabilized and regained its living hue and when she opened her eyes, they were no longer the Haron green but the Sapphirine Blue that was the signature of her lord and master.

The Haron Elders within the dimension trembled and crumpled as they were subjected to the doings of the Altar.

"What's this? Get up, old man!" Elenor had said to the Grand Elder when it all first began only for it to later set in that this was no trick.

The Elders all tried to resist with the might of their demigod cultivations but they failed because the force behind the extraction was greater than what they could ever hope to contend with.

A voice came from the Altar and so piercingly powerful was it that it cut through the dimension and sounded in the ears of all within including Hal himself;

"This is all who have survived? All who are of value? Heh, it will do,"

The chaotic energy that had been shaking the dimension increased in concentration until it was shattered and all that was going on within was revealed to all those outside.

The very nature of Amador's chaotic augmentation had an effect on the Nexus world that was instantly visible to Hal but this was only the beginning.

The Altar collated all it had received into a ritual whose effect was to shoot a massive beam into the atmosphere and as it did, Hal unleashed an attack that involved the might of his bloodline, his Dao, and his Cultivation and he struck it at the Altar.

The Altar shot the attack right back at him with a speed that he had no hope of evading.

Hal aimed to shield himself from the regurgitated attack and he succeeded in pushing off the physical impact but he could do nothing against the emotional impact.

"AH, THE INSURRECTING FOOL!!! I HAVE HEARD TALES!!! NOT IMPRESSED!!!"

The voice hit Hal's soul like the force of an entire world and there was a certain almighty quality to it that tried to bend Hal to its will by words alone and as he struggled against it, the impact spread all over his inner being and shook the one closest to him by soul; Sassy.

The moment the attack hit Hal, his senses had been wrenched away from the physical world and he had thus been unable to see the massive crack in the sky that was caused by the beam of the Altar.

The first return to the physical world that Hal got was Sassy wrapping her body around him while she tried her best to aid him in pushing off the weight that had been placed on his soul.

The second feeling Hal got was Melinda's touch. His best girl took his hands in hers and melded their souls to aid him.

Melinda ignored the crack in the sky and that was the same for Rita and Emily who arrived after her with empathetic eyes at their man.

The ladies led the charge for all the ladies of the Legion to lend Hal the strength of their souls to finally help him break free. The vast majority of them were not present physically but the distance meant nothing in the face of their connection to their man.

When Hal was finally able to gasp his return to the physical world, he was in the tight embrace of Sassy who had returned to her human form for an almost specific use of her hands.

"Zalser," Hal said as he patted her on the back.

"My name is Sassy," Sassy said with a particular disgust for the name her master appeared to have given her.

Hal chuckled,

"No, the voice, the attack was from Zalser, the Primeval Asura God. The progenitor of the Haron Bloodline. He is one of the five agents of Chaos within the Primeval God ranks and that Altar, this beam... That crack... It's all his,"

As Hal was speaking, the pressure coming from the crack increased and its impact on the Nexus world became worse.

"That Crack..." Melinda began,

"Yes, Melinda, the crack is a portal into Paradise... A forceful portal opened with Amador as a conduit. If we don't do something soon, the Nexus world will soon be invaded by gods."

"We can't fight gods," Emily said as a matter of fact.

"We can't," Hal agreed grimly.

'An interesting plan. I'll give you that, Primordial Will, this was an interesting plan,'

Hal could see all that had happened to cause this as though he was being shown a playback;

Amador sought power... He sought advancement into Paradise and like many particularly religious experts in the Nexus world, he prayed and likely sacrificed to his Patron God who was only a subordinate to Zalser.

Zalser, like other Primevals, was seeking Hal's neck and in Amador, they saw a chance.

They granted him the ability to harness chaotic energy in the form of a chaotic clone and aided him in tweaking an Altar with the promise that with sacrifice, he could gain the strength he wanted.

In actuality, his sacrifices were only a build-up for him to be granted a chaotic version of Divinity to allow him to become a god and tweak certain existing rules.

No one can become a God in the Nexus World without garnering the faith of the populace and so Amador at the moment was not truly a god but he had just enough Divinity to be manipulated to open a disastrous gateway from paradise into the Nexus world.

The Nexus world was not sturdy or evolved enough to accommodate the presence of full-fledged gods and this invasion essentially doomed the Nexus world to a complete breakdown but neither Zalser nor Chaos gave a fuck...

... They were here to get rid of Hal and his forces and the destruction of the Nexus world was just a very welcome bonus.
