Triton led Damien towards a 5-meter-wide azure ethereal formation and looked at Damien,

"You don't seem to be surprised," Triton remarked as he saw how Damien didn't show any reaction despite seeing the big spatial ethereal formation in front of them.

"Why would I? I already guessed that you people used the spatial ethereal formation to sneak inside the city. Otherwise, the guards would have seen you people coming, and the city's defensive ethereal formations should have got activated." Damien said in quiet amazement.

He was inwardly astonished that the Forsaken managed to set up an ethereal spatial formation inside the city without letting the Xeton Empire know about it.

Triton was amazed that Damien seemed to be more perceptive than he thought.

"Master Triton, should we really show around a stranger and let him leave without the seal?" A dull voice sounded from behind.

Damien turned around to see a cloaked figure with a silver mask slowly walking towards them.

Triton twisted his neck and said in a dry tone, "It's fine. Even if Damien knew about the location of the spatial ethereal formation in the imperial city, we know it won't be at the same place next time. And what I have told him are things which the Xeton Empire already knows. You don't need to bother too much about this, Drake. I will handle this."

Drake then noticed that Triton was about to let Damien use the big spatial ethereal formation and said with dissatisfaction, "But--––"

Triton gave a subtle glare, and Drake swallowed his words, daring to not talk any longer.

Damien felt that Triton's status in the Forsaken might be even more important than he thought. However, he felt that it was quite natural considering how he's even more powerful than Reva Xeton by a single level. Luna had told him that Triton's cultivation was at the Fourth Level of the Sky Ethereal Realm, which truly astonished him.

He wondered how powerful Triton would be in a few years. But he was more surprised by how collected and calm Triton was despite having such powerful cultivation at such a young age.

Damien was sure had it been other entitled youngsters, most of them would have been drunk with arrogance. But Triton didn't show any air of arrogance towards him nor looked down upon his inferior cultivation.

He felt that Triton must have gone through a lot and must have been honed by hardships to become the person he was now.

Drake reluctantly left, and Damien could feel that Drake didn't seem to like his presence.

"Sorry about that. Some people here are not fond of new faces, but they will get used to you once you officially join us." Triton said mildly.

He continued as he gestured, "You can enter the formation, and it will transport you to a discreet location in the city. It's almost going to be daybreak now. I guess I can expect you within a few days, right?"

Damien nodded, "Yeah. I will come tomorrow or the day after. But how do I get here?"

Triton took out a white glass stone and gave it to Damien, "Take this. You can crumble this stone, and someone will pick you up. Of course, you have to do this in a discreet location without anyone having any eyes on you. Only if everything seems to be clear will someone pick you up."

Damien nodded and took the glass stone from Triton. Without wasting any more time, he quickly entered the spatial ethereal formation and got transported to the Xeton Imperial City.

Just as Damien disappeared, Blake and Shania suddenly appeared beside Triton.

"Master Triton, did he accept?" Shania asked anxiously.

Triton nodded, "Yes, he did. But it was not easy to convince him, and we would also have to give him a Rank 7 Pill."

Blake had a blinking expression, "Rank 7?? Master Triton, you know best how extremely precious those pills are. We can't even find many Saint Grade herbs in this whole continent, and each one of them takes few decades to grow. And you even refused to use a Rank 7 Pill for yourself unless it's absolutely necessary. Is he truly worth that much, and can we trust him?"

Triton sighed, "According to what I have been told about him, no amount of Rank 7 Pills can be comparable to Damien. He is our only and final hope. Within two years, our fate will be decided. Even I don't know how Damien can change our fate in two years. But I have no choice but to believe that he can, no matter how hopeless it seems. Besides, he doesn't seem to be the kind of person who is fond of dirty schemes. I think that he can be trusted and is not the kind of person who would betray unless we are his enemies."

Shania smiled gently, "Don't worry, Master Triton. We believe in your decisions, and I am sure things will be as you say."

Within just a few moments, a bright azure light flashed in a quiet alley as a boy suddenly appeared.

'Wow. I really got transported to the city. Valentina…' Damien didn't think about anything else and quickly sped towards his villa.

A rosy pink-haired girl was walking around anxiously in the huge hall of the villa as she frequently glanced at the door. In her hand, was a letter she found when she woke up, which said that Damien would return safely soon.

But she had no idea when Damien would return and cried when she realized that Damien was not near her when she woke up. She didn't even know where to look or whom to chase.

Her messaging talismans weren't receiving any feedback at all, which only made her feel more distress.

She hadn't slept at all and had been walking to and fro in the hall for several hours.

The only reason she didn't rush out to search for him was that she remembered his instruction not to do anything reckless for at least a day in case he disappears.

Her eyes were dull as she muttered in worry, "Big Brother…" Her movements were completely restless, and she felt like she couldn't wait any longer to rush out and search for him.

After a few seconds, she finally decided to go search for him subtly by using her invincibility. She also thought of leaving a letter in case Damien managed to reach the villa while she was gone.

But just as she was about to leave a letter, her nose twitched as she sensed the familiar smell of his blood.

Her luminous eyes lit up as she quickly dashed towards the door with an exhilarating smile.

Damien had reached the Ocean Haven Villa as fast as possible and dashed in through the door. Before he even thought of spreading his spiritual perception, his eyes relaxed when he saw Valentina jumping towards him for a hug as tears escaped from her eyes.

"Big Brother Damien!"

He heartily smiled as he caught her and hugged her tightly just as she did the same.

They both remained in a warm embrace for a minute, and Damien kissed her head as he looked at her with a contrite expression.

He said in a regretful tone as he wiped her eyes, "I am sorry for going away like that again. Were you okay?"

Valentina nodded as she stuck her head close to his chest, "Big Brother doesn't need to apologize. I am so happy you came back. It's all because of those bad masked people. Did they do anything bad to Big Brother?" She asked with moist eyes as she tried to hold in her anger.

She thought that she would surely make them pay for taking away Damien like that the next time she sees them.

Damien caressed her head as he said in a reassuring tone, "Don't worry. They are not bad people. They just took me because they needed something from me. Tomorrow, I will show you what I mean. But I guess I can't take you in your human form. Can you change your size in your ethereal beast form?"

Valentina nodded with pride, "Yes, I can. I can make myself as small as how I used to be in my ethereal beast form."

Damien cheerfully said, "Then, that's great. I will carry you around in your cute ethereal beast form on my shoulders, and they won't suspect a thing either."

Valentina smiled as she hung on his neck, basking herself in his warmth and the scent of his blood. She felt her heart relax now that he was back in her arms. For the past few hours, she felt as if she was in a nightmare all alone.

She quickly kissed his cheek in happiness and giggled. Damien smiled amusedly and said, "Come on. Let's rest for a while before going to class."
