"Hehehehe!" Surprisingly, Lin laughed after Arthur asked while she gave Arthur a mysterious look.
"Guess what, I'm sure this is something that will bother your heart," she said.
"Nothing can bother my heart here," Arthur replied.
"Are you sure?" asked Lin, showing a playful expression.
In Arthur's eyes, she was just using the opportunity to pressure him because she had always been insignificant in front of him. He shook his head and continued on his way, not responding again.
"Huh!" Lin finally snorted at being ignored.
After that, she suddenly said it. "The boss's college friend came to visit her, a man who is the son of one of the richest men in South America."
She smiled after saying that and scanned Arthur's face to wait for his reaction.
Unfortunately, Arthur still did not react.
Lin rolled her eyes as she followed him and asked, "aren't you worried that the boss will break up with you and start a relationship with that guy? Actually, that guy is also very handsome. Plus, he's the same age as the boss, so the boss is compatible with him."

A man around her age was sitting across from her.

Although Amanda looked lazy, the man remained calm when talking to her.
He seemed to enjoy talking to her even if his words fell on deaf ears.
As he continued to talk, Amanda who looked lazy suddenly looked excited so he thought she was getting excited because his words were becoming interesting.
However, he was quickly disappointed as Amanda stared at the young man who approached their table.
"Dear, you finally came," she said with a faint smile, making the man's head shake.
Actually, Amanda was annoyed with Arthur for leaving for so long.
However, there was no way she could show her annoyance now. She had to be romantic or he would think their relationship was bad.
After speaking, Amanda grabbed Arthur's hand, pulling him to sit down.
"Meet, my boyfriend, Arthur Wilson," she said, immediately introducing Arthur to the man.

Arthur looked at him calmly, but since he was silent, he was silent too.

With that, they left, leaving Gabriel alone with an awkward expression.
They entered the elevator and when the elevator moved up, Amanda immediately looked at Arthur sharply.
"What took you so long? What are you doing with that little girl? And your hair, why is it wet?" she asked.
She seemed to have instantly forgotten about Gabriel because she should have explained about him first to Arthur.
Unfortunately, she was in a bad mood because she felt that her man was taken by another woman.
Any other man would have a hard time in this kind of situation, but Arthur calmly hugged Amanda's waist and then kissed her charming lips, giving her such a deep kiss that her cheeks turned red.
When Arthur broke the kiss, she looked upset.
"Don't dodge this way," she said in an angry tone.
"There's not much to talk about, discussing it will probably only make you angrier, it's better to forget about it, and continue as usual," Arthur replied calmly.
His calmness was something that tamed Amanda, but she couldn't help but be annoyed now that Arthur seemed to rely on his tricks to calm her down.

When the elevator doors opened, she immediately pulled out his hand.
They headed to a room that was of course on another level from the one Isla had rented.
On the dining table, there were already several plastic bags that appeared to contain grilled meat.
Amanda walked over to the table to prepare dinner.
She did it quickly enough that Arthur didn't have to be patient.
After that, he and Amanda sat next to each other, eating right away.

Seeing that Arthur didn't react, she continued irritably, "You really don't know how to accompany a woman to talk. Yes, he's just an ordinary human that we can easily get rid of, but at least talk about the scheme with me."
"Do you want to get rid of him?" Arthur couldn't help but ask because he was surprised by what Amanda said.

She's not that aggressive with Arthur's other enemies, but she is aggressive to Gabriel who potentially sees himself as Arthur's rival for her heart.
In Arthur's eyes, this looks more like Amanda's fanaticism towards him. No, the word fanaticism doesn't fit. It is love.
"I don't want our relationship to be disrupted because of a third party who acts as if he is something important," Amanda replied.
"You know, when a man gets involved with another woman, the man's girlfriend can usually keep her cool, even if she gets angry, she's only angry for a short while. She pinched Arthur's cheek after she said that, in response to his gesture.

After pinching him, she even tries to pull his head.
However, Arthur stops her as he still wants to eat.
"Alright," he said. "Let's do that later, but I'm still not sure what the point of getting rid of that guy is? Is it just to kick him or to send him to the afterlife?"
Although Arthur wasn't bothered, but if we're talking in case Arthur was bothered by the man's presence, this talk was enough to put him at ease. And surely his relationship with Amanda would be deeper if she teamed up with him to kick out his rival.
