Leaving Linda's house, Arthur flew straight into the sky before heading to his aunt's residence.

When he arrived there, he found that it was already crowded, more crowded than yesterday even though now the sky was still very dark.

He saw people from all kinds of departments, from the military, police, Ministry of Interior employees, to the employees working at the Presidential Palace.

The inauguration would be held at the palace where the President himself would inaugurate Isabel.

Arthur landed on the roof of the building because that was the only place he could appear without being spotted.

From there, he went to the third floor which actually had quite a few facilities other than that there were several rooms there.

Apparently Isabel was already there, sitting alone on the sofa in formal attire, which consisted of a black skirt that went past her knees, a white shirt and a tie layered over a black suit.

She seemed to have just finished showering and was now making up her pretty face to make it even prettier.

With the makeup, her face became so striking that it looked like she was from a different world. Even the top celebrities would probably be less striking.

This was the first time Arthur had seen her look like that.

While Arthur had previously thought that Suzune was very pretty, now he couldn't say that before making sure she was indeed prettier than Isabel.

And there was a high possibility that Isabel was actually prettier, it was just that her style had always been simpler.

Even now, she was still not as glamorous as Suzune.

Then, she put her hair in a very neat bun.

Looking at Arthur, she smiled strangely. "Where have you been hiding?" she asked.

"Just seeing an old friend," Arthur replied as he approached her.

"Since when do you have friends here?" Isabel looked pessimistic.

Arthur just smiled without answering the question. Then he complimented her. "Aunt, you are very beautiful today, looking very young too."

Any woman would love to be praised as beautiful even if they were very beautiful indeed.

Isabel's smile grew wide as she replied, "I know I'm very beautiful, it's a pity that I'm your aunt, otherwise, as a man who lives like the main character in a novel, I'm afraid you'd pursue me above all else."

"Uhmmm..." Arthur couldn't help but clear his throat when he heard that, not expecting that Isabel would talk to that extent so casually.

From being hesitant at first, she became more open and bold. This made Arthur a little scared.

After that, she patted the sofa beside her and said, "sit down!"

"Aunt, you seem to be in a very good mood to be joking so much," Arthur replied.

He then sat across from her instead of beside her as she would have liked.

Isabel just smiled as she watched Arthur shy away.

"By the way aunt, did someone come last night and bring a masseuse?" asked Arthur, still asking that question now that he was in front of her.

"You know about that?" Isabel was immediately startled when she heard Arthur's question, making her eyes narrow as if she wanted to see if he was watching her.

Calmly, Arthur explained. "I happened to meet that masseur. Of course, we don't know each other, I just heard her talking about a businessman taking her to visit you."

Arthur didn't want certain misunderstandings to occur, so he chose to say it even though he changed some facts.

Only after hearing that, did Isabel stop narrowing her eyes.

"I did get a massage last night, it was a good experience." Isabel nodded.

"The businessman didn't bother you, did he?" Arthur asked.

This time, Isabel laughed.

"What's wrong? Are you worried?" she said. "Of course, that man confessed his feelings to me. He said how much he wanted to be my husband and spend forever with me. Yeah, I knew he was very sincere. I think he'll always stand by me and protect me from any harm if I accept his feelings."

As she said that, Isabel's lips curled up beautifully.

Perhaps she wanted to provoke Arthur a little, but Arthur remained calm because he knew that Isabel would definitely reject the man.

She rejected every great man even before she became a Magus, not to mention now, her standards must have risen to a ridiculous point.

Seeing Arthur's calmness, Isabel rolled her eyes slightly.

In the end, Isabel picked up her phone, reading articles and news.

Over time, the sky gradually brightened.

There were more people outside, especially when the reporters came.

Some of the reporters actually tried to break into the house. Those who did might not just want to interview Isabel, but also try to take photos of her private life, or perhaps they were paparazzi from the start, not journalists.

Luckily the security level of the house is so high that even a mosquito would have a hard time getting in.

However, even though the sky was getting brighter, Carla still didn't actually come out of her room so Isabel began to frown.

"What is that girl doing?" She wondered.

This was a very important day for her, but her daughter still hadn't shown up, Isabel was naturally unhappy.

Actually Arthur could feel spiritual energy gathering in large amounts in Carla's room. It kept increasing with time.

It seemed that the girl was improving in her magic even though she hadn't reached the level of an Official Magus. That might not be far off.

"It's time for breakfast," Isabel said, looking at her watch.

She stood up, and signaled Arthur to come downstairs.

They then walked together.

When Isabel moved, the fragrant scent of her perfume spread left and right, making Arthur unable to help but stare at her.

Isabel looked back into his eyes, showing him a charming thin smile.

At this moment, Jade was waiting just below the stairs, watching Arthur and Isabel coming down.

Once they arrived in front of her, she said, "please come to the dining table, Mrs. Isabel, young master."

She directed her hand towards the back room, showing them a respectful expression.

"Jade, did anyone contact you again?" Isabel apparently asked Jade.

The latter shook her head as she replied, "no, they can't ask anything else when I keep insisting that everything is normal."

"I see!" Isabel nodded.

"Aunt, what are you talking about?" Arthur couldn't help but ask because there seemed to be something.

"Do you know what Jade came to us for? Well, some of the higher-ups in the military want to know the results," Isabel replied. "They've been contacting her more frequently lately. Of course, it's something we can handle, plus Grayson is also dead, so there's nothing too troubling."

Hearing Isabel's words, Arthur finally understood and stopped asking. He believed Isabel could handle such problems.

Upon arriving at the dining table, Arthur saw various types of food that could be said to be light for breakfast such as boiled potatoes, eggs, and the like.

The servants were lined up around the dining table.

Isabel, who was used to living without servants, immediately ordered them to the living room.

She didn't want to be seen at breakfast.

In the end, even Jade went with them.

Isabel then sat on one of the chairs while her eyes stared outside.

The dining table had a glass wall facing directly to the street so from alone Isabel could see the people outside.

Of course, no one could see her from the outside as the glass wall was very dark.

As Isabel began to eat, the long-awaited Carla finally arrived.

The girl was also wearing a formal dress.

Isabel glanced at her but didn't say anything, as if she was just giving her a signal to have breakfast right away.

They would be leaving soon anyway.

Knowing that she was late, Carla had breakfast early.

Of course, she didn't forget to ask Arthur where he was last night that he didn't come home.

And Arthur gave her the same answer that he gave to Isabel.

Carla naturally couldn't believe that so she gave Arthur a cynical look as if to say that he was lying too much.

For Arthur, the important thing was that he didn't say it, so it didn't matter if Carla thought he was lying.

Even if he was lying, she was still so fanatical to him.

"Come on, let's go now!" When Isabel felt full, she immediately stood up, also telling Arthur and Carla to stand up.

She then took a step into the living room and did not stop her steps there at all. She headed straight for the door, followed by Jade who carried her bag.

The woman also sent a message to the police and military personnel outside to be ready.

When Isabel followed by Arthur and the others arrived at the door, a car was already ready in front. They just needed to get in now.

And it is naturally a very luxurious car, seemingly able to withstand even a bazooka.

So that the reporters would not have time to interfere, Jade asked Isabel to get into the car directly.

She and Arthur sat in the back while Carla sat in the front.

The driver was Jade herself.
