Bella and Carla were astonished after hearing Arthur's words.

They looked at Antoine in confusion, wondering what Arthur meant.

On the other hand, Antoine smiled in response to Arthur's question. He said, "only an ordinary creature can fall in love."

"I see!" Arthur didn't try to force him to answer. "Since it's like that, I want to see how your efforts to get Bella. However, I wonder if this was a coincidence from the start or if you had a scheme to target us?"

"It really is a coincidence," Antoine replied.

"As for how I'm going to get Bella, I'm sure we can do it the traditional way, you know..."

The man pointed his finger, twirling it in the air.

At first glance, there was nothing there, but Arthur could feel some sort of power gathering. The man's finger could probably pierce steel right now.

"Good, let's find a place," Arthur said, not at all worried.

"What the hell is going on?" Bella couldn't help but ask, looking up at Arthur.

The latter got out of the car as he replied, "follow us!"

Since Arthur got out of the car, Carla hurriedly got out of the car as well.

The girl seemed to have understood something.

"That man is no ordinary person," she whispered to Bella as they followed Arthur and Antoine.

Upon hearing that, Bella finally understood.

She gave Antoine a strange look because of that.

However, she then snorted softly.

"Does he think I'll like him just because he's not an ordinary man," she said.

"This guy is more similar to Alex, in my eyes very unsightly."

"A lot of women talk about not liking a guy but end up liking him, so maybe you'll like him later," Carla replied with a quiet laugh.

"Nonsense," Bella replied, smacking Carla's hand. Her words seemed to offend her.

"You say that because you want to remove me from Arthur's side? Oh Carla, we were just talking about sharing, now you have thoughts like that. Why don't you just be with that guy?"

Bella seemed to be getting angry. Carla's words could probably be considered as stepping on her tail.

However, Carla just smiled.

"Come on," she said. "I just want to see how loyal you are to Arthur. After all, he's my cousin, so I'd be offended if he was abandoned by a woman."

"That's a stupid thought, first it's not easy to make me like a man, and I must be a very loyal type of woman, and that strange man doesn't have a single thing that makes me feel impressed," Bella replied, looking even more annoyed.

Luckily she and Carla were limiting their voices, so Antoine couldn't hear her, or else he might have been disappointed.

Meanwhile, several people who happened to be near Bella's Ferrari looked at Arthur and Antoine in confusion.

They looked at each other until one of them said, "these two men seem to want to fight."

"Yeah, it should be for the woman wearing that skirt."

"Mm, this one is charming, I like her slim body. She also looks very active."

"She should already be dating that guy who got into her car, right?"

"It seems that way, and the guy in the Lamborghini wants to snatch her away."

"Hmph, he probably thinks he can do anything just because he's rich. I wonder if the background of that woman's boyfriend is good too."

"It should be, you know, he looks very impressive. He's like the main star among the children of the elite. Quiet and unobtrusive, but makes a very strong impression. I feel that hhe is very compatible with the woman wearing that skirt."

Since the people speaking were ordinary people, their voices could be heard by Arthur and the others.

Bella couldn't help but smile. She nudged Carla's hand and said, "You heard what they said, me and Arthur are really very compatible with each other. That is indeed a fact. In many movies, main characters with looks and personalities like Arthur usually have lovers with personalities and looks like me."

Hearing her best friend's words, Carla's face froze, looking like she couldn't say anything because this was truly a public opinion.

"Wait, are we just going to let them fight?" Someone suddenly asked.

"No need to interfere," another replied. "I'm sure those two women will scream if the guy on their side loses, we can still help later. And yeah, we shouldn't look or they'll feel uncomfortable."

Arthur and the other three went to a small park behind a row of buildings.

It was deserted and unkempt, full of weeds.

Maybe someone wouldn't go there because there might be snakes hiding.

However, whether it was Arthur or Antoine, they entered the weeds without hesitation, not caring about the hidden dangers.

The problem was that even though there were snakes there, Arthur's presence immediately alarmed them so they ran away.

Arthur and Antoine then stopped around the center area of the park.

Arthur's eyes looked at the man again.

He still couldn't feel this man's kind of power clearly.

It was indeed strange, but the main factor was more because he didn't recognize that type of power.

Of course, he had his suspicions, but he just wanted direct confirmation.

"Can I start now?" asked Antoine.

He apparently took the initiative.

Carla and Bella watched from quite a distance, the former's expression quite serious, yet the latter snorted softly when she heard Antoine's words.

"Arthur, show him why he shouldn't provoke you, make sure he doesn't dare come to me again," she said.

Antoine looked at her when he heard her words, but he only smiled.

"What if I win?" he asked.

"You won't win and I won't give you anything even if you do. However, if you lose, I hope you stop bothering me."

"Sure," Antoine replied, seemingly not objecting to Bella's wishes.

"You are very confident," Arthur said.

He wanted to know if this man was indeed very strong or if he had never met someone truly strong.

Or perhaps he was too strong that he could not feel his strength.

This time, Antoine didn't answer, he raised his hand and from his nails, blood flowed out, forming long shiny claws like they were made of steel.

Whoosh!

He moved, lunging towards Arthur at high speed, cutting through the grass in front of him.

Apparently, he was very strong indeed. Carla and Bella could barely see his figure as he moved.

This was practically the speed of an Official Magus.

It's just that, to Arthur's eyes, there was an instability to his movements, as if he wasn't completely used to it yet. Or perhaps he had just broken through to that stage.

What was clear; the power of the blood made Arthur even more certain of his identity.

Whoosh!

Arthur moved before he arrived in front of him.

When they almost met, the man pointed his claws at Arthur, more precisely at his face.

It is unknown if that was his way of attacking or if he wanted to target Arthur's face.

Arthur responded casually as his movements were still not that fast in his eyes.

He moved his body back slightly to avoid the claws.

At the same time, a short energy spear appeared in his hand.

With a swift movement, she stabbed the spear into the man's chest.

Shua!

The spear pierced through his chest, leaving his eyes wide open as blood gushed out.

He hastily jumped back, even then sprinting backwards at his fastest speed.

The spear disappeared immediately, and after that, the hole in the man's chest suddenly closed by itself.

"So it's true, you are a vampire?" said Arthur, now convinced by his speculation.

Nova had told Arthur about the kind of power vampires had. They controlled blood and had a mysterious healing ability where their wounds would always close. Even if their heart was stabbed, they would not die.

How to kill them was said to always be a tricky thing, and no one knew for sure which way was reliable.

Even when an explosion was detonated inside their bodies and their bodies were destroyed, they could still recover.

"You are strong," Antoine said to Arthur.

Now he was not as calm as before.

"Are you worried now?" asked Arthur.

"And since you showed me who you are, maybe our business doesn't stop here," he added.

Vampires' abilities intrigued him quite a bit, he thought they were much more unique than Werewolves. He might want to investigate their abilities, just in case he could acquire them too.

"It's a little worrying, indeed." Antoine did not argue. "Yeah, at least I know that Bella chose a decent man."

"So you didn't think that way before?"

"We can't know without seeing."

"I don't think you have a bad personality, but since you challenged me in the first place, I can't let you go without some sign or at least arresting you."

Whoosh!

Arthur moved again, enveloping his body with wind so that his speed became unimaginable.

The grass he passed by flew up, even passing through the building behind as if there was a storm here. People on the street would probably be confused by that.
