Currently, in a luxurious hall that was clearly in a rich man's residence, an old man was enjoying the welcome of a group of people consisting of several middle-aged men and women. There were also young ones, but they were just watching at the back.

The old man was wearing long pants and a formal suit, looking like a successful businessman.

He was holding a cane, but it wasn't like a typical cane. It had a smaller size so it looked easy to swing around.

After drinking a cup of wine, he said, "That man called Parker is quite old. I'm sure no one would think it strange if he suddenly got sick and died, right?"

What he said made the people who had been laughing happily fall silent.

Then, one of the middle-aged women nodded vigorously.

"That's for sure, Mr. Jaxon," she said. "Who would suspect that if he dies, he's already too old that his death is natural. That he lived until now is a blessing for him."

It seemed that the woman wanted Parker dead more than anything else.

The man next to her who was both her husband and Parker's nephew smiled wryly.

Since Parker was his uncle, he couldn't talk about his death easily.

He might be vile, but had not completely forgotten their family relationship.

However, his wife was indeed the most important to him, he preferred her over anything.

Seeing her happy with Parker's wealth later would also make him happy.

"Parker has reached his limit in seeking wealth. In the past two and three years, his wealth has not increased." Jaxon continued.

"We originally hoped he could become even richer. Unfortunately, he disappointed us. Therefore, we were forced to terminate his life license, hahaha." He laughed.

After which, the middle-aged woman replied, "don't worry Mr. Jaxon, in our hands, his wealth will definitely increase drastically. After all, we are young and vibrant, our performance is naturally better."

"I think so too," Jaxon replied while holding his chin.

However, right after that, his eyes narrowed sharply.

"It's happening again," he said spontaneously in a fairly loud voice.

"Mr. Jaxon, what's wrong?" asked Parker's nephew.

Jaxon didn't answer immediately, he stood up, and waved to the two young men in the distance.

"We're going to the Parker residence now," he told them.

After that, he walked away with the young man.

"What happened?" Parker's nephew was confused, he looked at his brothers.

"Brother, I think we should follow Mr. Jaxon," one of them said.

***

It was actually right when Arthur smashed the pink ball.

Jaxon could clearly feel the destruction of his magic clearly because he was close.

Arthur then looked at Yukiko and said, "there will be enemies coming, be prepared!"

Yukiko nodded.

After that, Arthur opened the door of the room with his magic, something that made Parker surprised because after the door opened, there was no one behind it.

He wondered if there was any damage to the door.

When she looked into the room, she saw Arthur sitting on the bed while his granddaughter was asleep.

"Mr. Arthur?" Parker was confused.

"Your granddaughter is recovering, she'll be able to walk again once she wakes up," Arthur replied.

"Is that true?" Parker was surprised and excited at the same time.

Although there was no proof, having someone dare to tell him that made him happy.

"Don't get excited just yet, someone will come and make a mess," Arthur said again.

When he heard that, Parker's face froze.

"Mr. Arthur, what does that mean?" He narrowed his eyes.

Of course, Parker was not someone who never suspected his granddaughter's matter. That it was masterminded by a magus.

However, he had never seen a magus either, only occasionally heard from some people that they existed.

When Arthur said that his granddaughter was cured, he actually suspected that Arthur cured her with magic as well.

Previously he didn't dare to speculate that Arthur was someone who had such a skill, but he couldn't help but feel confident looking at him now that he basically healed his granddaughter in no time.

And now, Arthur even said that there would be those who would come and create chaos.

He wondered what kind of person that would be.

Had the enemy lost all patience and taken direct action?

Wouldn't that just leave them exposed?

Of course, for those magus who were already stronger, they could take direct action because they were confident that they could clear the trail.

Maybe the magus would just make Eva sick again and then leave Parker helpless.

Arthur laughed silently because he thought this was something interesting.

"Let's go downstairs," he said again.

"What about Eva?" asked Parker, not sure about leaving her here.

"Don't worry!" Arthur replied.

He took a step after saying that.

Quickly, he and Parker finally arrived downstairs.

Evan was still there, although he could stand up, he was still in pain.

When he looked at Yukiko, he couldn't help but be frightened, finally realizing that he was meeting a terrifying woman.

On the other hand, he was curious about what they were doing on the third floor, but he chose not to ask.

Arthur didn't stop there, he kept walking until he got outside.

Just moments after he got there, a car suddenly arrived.

It was just an ordinary car, quite old even, but the driver seemed to be very skillful because it was moving fast and structured.

Three people were in the car, two young men and one old man.

It didn't take Arthur long to realize their power levels.

The old man was already at the peak of an Apprentice Magus while the two young men were Knights.

The first one should have been very old and was obviously the one behind Eva's troubles.

However, Arthur came to another conclusion about him.

'He seems to have only improved in recent years,' he thought.

In other words, the old man used to not be so strong, but perhaps something increased his strength drastically.

'Yeah, he shouldn't have gotten magic from the British Kingdom, maybe he joined afterwards and improved a lot with their help.'

What was interesting to Arthur was actually the old man's magic.

In fact, he himself did not have that type of magic. There might be something similar but it's still not the same.

Of course, it also included extremely powerful magic.

Arthur wondered where the old man got it from.

Surely it must have once belonged to a great figure.

Unfortunately, even in the information he got from the Black Diamond, there was no information about that.

All in all, it was some kind of curse magic, which was of course very dangerous if used properly.

If only the old man was so strong, it wouldn't be easy to overcome his magic.

Whoosh!

The car stopped in front of the gate of the Parker Mansion.

The windshield then lowered, making the old man more visible.

He looked inside the gate, more precisely at Arthur and the others standing in front of the mansion's door.

Although they were far away, it was as if he saw them up close.

Only moments later, several cars stopped not far from the old man's car. However, they did not dare to approach, even keeping their distance so that they would not be seen.

"Master, are we going to attack right away?" One of the Knights asked Jaxon.

The latter looked around first, and finally nodded.

"It's in the city center, but I think it's fine. Look at that young man and woman. They are a Magus and a Knight. However, I'm not sure how strong they are. The important thing is to get rid of them first."

"I'm sure the two of us can do it." The knight nodded, smiling confidently as he raised his sword shaped like a cross.

"Okay, let's get started, I'll put the guards to sleep." Jaxon then got out of the car.

At this moment, his hand held a black powder that looked like sand. He threw the powder into the air which instantly scattered.

Surprisingly enough, in no time the bodyguards in the mansion courtyard fell down one after another.

"What's going on?" Evan who had just arrived wondered, dumbfounded by the scene.

In fact, he didn't faint just because he was near Arthur who was quietly blocking the smell.

Of course, Arthur knew what poison the old man was spreading.

Although harmless, its function is indeed frightening because it can work quickly.

If it was thrown at the White House, the government there would be paralyzed in seconds.

However, it is also not a poison that can be obtained easily because the ingredients are very rare.

After all the guards fainted, Jaxon and the two knights quickly entered the gate. They easily opened it.

People who happened to pass in front of the gate even thought they were guests of the mansion.

The two knights did carry swords, but that wasn't considered strange, people just assumed they were collectors of such things.

Then, Jaxon casually walked towards Arthur and the others.

"Who are you guys?" Evan shouted as they got closer.

He was astonished and panicked.

For one, this was the first time anyone had entered the mansion like that.

And they were able to take out all the guards in such a short time.

Evan couldn't help but have a bad feeling about this.
