"Ohhh..." Eva seemed more interested in Arthur after she heard about him.

Arthur walked over to her bed, keeping his eyes on her face.

When he arrived at the bedside, the woman spoke again.

"Are you the hero who will save me?"

"Hero?" Arthur was surprised to hear her words while Parker pretended to cough.

"Mr. Arthur, please don't take her seriously, she's been like this for too long, sometimes uttering nonsense," he said in a low voice.

Arthur took a closer look at Eva's head, but he didn't think she had any particular mental disorder.

It was just a personality problem after lying down for so long that she was expecting something.

It was precisely because she was still sane that she had such expectations.

And perhaps it's because she's been estranged from society for so long that she's a bit innocent.

"Maybe!" Arthur then nodded.

"You were the first to say that. Can I assume you'll succeed?" She asked again, tilting her head slightly.

When it was combined with her lips that had just spoken, a cute and pretty sight could not help but appear.

This time, Arthur did not answer immediately. He looked at Parker first.

"Can you come out old man?" He said to him.

His words and the way he spoke seemed to confirm that he really could heal Eva. Parker couldn't help but be pleased.

"Mr. Arthur, I will give you anything if you really cure my granddaughter," he said in an excited tone.

"What are you saying, grandpa? This great hero deserves to be my husband!" Eva suddenly chimed in and what she said made Parker freeze.

Even Arthur rolled his eyes, wondering if it was also the nonsense she often said.

Parker embarrassedly looked at Arthur, but tried to observe his eyes, as if he wanted to see his reaction.

Actually, he didn't think that Eva's idea was bad. Even to him, Arthur was a great young hero, able to make a breakthrough out of nothing.

As a wealthy investor, he naturally needed a highly qualified man to marry his granddaughter, especially since the latter was so beautiful.

When he thought about Arthur's qualifications, he realized that there was nothing to be dissatisfied with.

Of course, he could not talk about that now. He said, "Mr. Arthur, please don't take it seriously."

After saying that, he quickly walked out of the room, even closing the door.

Until now, Yukiko's reaction was actually still flat, she just stared back and forth between Arthur and Eva.

This didn't mean that she didn't have certain feelings after hearing Eva's words. It's just that, she is indeed so well-trained that she can act as if she didn't hear anything.

This is indeed a Japanese skill.

Meanwhile, when Arthur wanted to do something, Eva spoke again. "Great hero, will you marry me after I recover? I promise I will treat you well. Before I got sick like this, I was good at cooking and sewing. I must be a good wife."

Her eyes looked at Arthur with a sparkling light, as if she really expected that.

Arthur wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry in response to this woman's request.

Of course, this was a very attractive offer, perhaps no one could refuse even if she was forever paralyzed.

However, Arthur didn't want to think about such things.

"Miss, you should stop that thought. Wait after you're healed, you can consider it again." He said.

Women sometimes didn't think clearly in certain situations. Arthur didn't want a woman who only said something because of something, but after everything changed, her mind also changed.

"But you're a great hero. I just want you," Eva replied, continuing to insist.

Arthur didn't answer this time, he sat on her bed and put his hand on her forehead.

It surprised her a little, but she didn't try to make any movement, just stared at his hand that suddenly gave warmth to her cold body.

When touching her forehead, Arthur did feel a cold sensation throughout her body, as if she had no warmth at all.

'A cruel magus,' Arthur thought.

He had no doubt that the one who sent the magic was the same person who sent the magic to Riccardo's body.

This also proves that the British Kingdom started their movement a long time ago as Eva's paralysis is more than ten years old.

Their motives were predictable. They should want this family's wealth.

Perhaps the children of Parker's brother who was suspected of being the mastermind were their henchmen.

"Would you like to sleep for a while?" Arthur then asked the woman.

"Will I be able to stand up again when I wake up?" Eva answered with a question.

Arthur nodded. "Not only can you stand up, you can even run. My treatment does not require a complicated process but it is more effective than any treatment."

"Alright!" The woman immediately closed her eyes.

Although she had not fallen asleep, she gave the impression that she was already fast asleep. Probably because she was used to doing that.

Secretly, Arthur sent warm energy to her head. It directly made her fall asleep, even dreaming sweet dreams.

Her lips were slightly open as she slept while her breathing became very calm.

Then, a white light emanated from Arthur's hand, enveloping Eva's body.

This was the same process as when Arthur healed Riccardo. However, only a moment after that, Arthur narrowed his eyes.

"Interesting," he said in a low voice.

The magic in Eva's body was much stronger than the magic in Riccardo's body, perhaps because it had been a long time, but that was not what made Arthur narrow his eyes.

The reason he narrowed his eyes was because he sensed the presence of the owner of the magic in a close place.

Maybe not close to this mansion, but definitely in Vera City.

'Did that person come because I removed the magic in Riccardo's body?' Arthur speculated.

Whoosh!

A pink, ball-shaped light came out of Eva's body.

It was exactly the same as the pink ball that came out of Riccardo's body, but this one was twice as big.
