Of course the base where Grayson built up his powers didn't go that far into the forest, it was still on the outskirts, but because the forest itself was too big, so even the outskirts were so vast that it took Arthur and the others a long time to travel.

Plus, the nuisances here are more than just tree branches blocking the way, but various wild beasts.

There are quite a few bears that climb the trees to the top and they are bigger than the average bear, in fact, there are quite a few that are twice as big as humans.

Despite sensing the aura of Arthur and the others, the bears were not entirely afraid.

They made threatening gestures at them and when they returned the gestures, they jumped up and lunged at them.

The fight was not always avoidable, but fortunately they were not human.

They can easily defeat any beasts that come their way.

An hour later, they finally arrived at their destination.

Not far away, there was indeed a small road that seemed to be passable for motorcycles or even small cars.

The path was completely covered from above so the satellite would not be able to detect it.

While it's not easy to build such a path, an influential general with military power wouldn't have much trouble.

After stopping, Arthur and the others scouted below, looking for a convenient location to set up camp.

"Oh look, there seems to be a small lake over there." Rose suddenly pointed at a certain direction that was very dark, almost invisible.

However, there was the light of the stars reflecting there, indicating that there was water.

"Let's go there!" Isabel didn't think long before deciding.

They then jumped down.

When they got close, they finally saw the location clearly.

There was a small lake surrounded by trees, so it was difficult to see it from above.

However, the lake seemed to have a master, a crocodile that was almost 10 meters long.

Isabel and the others were shocked when they saw it.

When the crocodile's eyes opened, there was a faint reflection of light, making them clearly visible.

It stared at Arthur and the others with menacing eyes, warning them not to come any closer.

"It's not a spiritual being, is it?" Isabel asked Arthur.

The latter shook his head.

"It's not, it's really an ancient beast that managed to survive. Well, it would definitely be very powerful if it became a Demon Beast." He said.

He was actually interested in capturing the crocodile and giving it a spell.

He thought that with such a big start, when it had magic, it could have instantly reached a level equivalent to an Official Magus.

His eyes then looked around, searching for any other large creatures.

However, while there were some smaller crocodiles, but there were no other types of beasts here. It seemed that they were intimidated by the crocodile's presence.

That's also natural. If the crocodile was sent to the Amazon, even the anacondas there would probably tremble with fear.

Seeing Arthur's gaze, Isabel guessed what he wanted.

"Do you need help?" she asked.

"Maybe!" Arthur nodded.

"However, I want you to wait first, surround the lake and wait for my signal," he said. He also looked at Rose and the others.

The six nodded before jumping to the other trees.

They took out golden swords and spears, which were obviously made based on the blueprints Arthur had given Rose.

Isabel and Jade remained standing in their places as they would watch from there.

Whoosh!

Arthur then leapt into the air and fell into the lake, right on top of the giant crocodile's head.

Its anger was instantly aroused as this little creature apparently dared to challenge it.

Its tail swung upwards and struck a tree, causing it to collapse instantly.

However, it did not try to jump. Perhaps it thought that it was unnecessary because its enemy was just a small creature, not even enough to make it feel the thrill of eating.

After hitting the tree, its tail swung towards Arthur.

The latter laughed softly when he saw that.

He responded by pointing his hand at the tail.

"Fire," he said in a low voice.

Instantly after, a sea of white-hot flames erupted from his hand, drowning the crocodile's tail.

Its scales were probably so thick that the fire couldn't completely affect it, but Arthur's fire was enough to make it roar.

Whoosh!

Finally its mouth moved towards Arthur, trying to swallow him whole.

However, this time, Arthur didn't try to attack it. Instead, he shouted, "aunt, attack the head!"

Isabel, who was ready, immediately chanted a spell with her hand pointed at the crocodile.

"Lightning of heaven, die..." She said in a rather loud voice.

BANG! BANG!

Countless bolts of lightning appeared there, striking the crocodile's head directly.

Every single bolt of lightning that hit it, the crocodile's skin was instantly torn apart and smoke appeared, indicating that its flesh had been burned.

The crocodile was startled by the sudden attack, its eyes staring at Isabel and roaring angrily at her.

Whoosh!

It finally jumped at Isabel.

When it got out of the lake, it immediately shrank by half.

"You guys, attack..." Arthur then shouted to Rose and the others.

They immediately jumped from each branch where they were standing while brandishing their swords and spears.

The crocodile wanted to attack them with its tail, but Arthur did not stand still. He who then landed on top of the tail released roots to wrap around it and then connected the roots to the trees on the side.

Although the tail could easily destroy a tree, it was also helpless because there were too many things tied to it.

Shua! Shua! Shua!

Rose and the others slashed their golden swords and spears into the crocodile's body.

Ordinary swords or spears would probably have difficulty penetrating the crocodile's scales, but the golden swords and spears were extremely solid in addition to being extremely sharp.

They managed to pierce through the scales and go deeper into its flesh, causing the crocodile's movements to stop.

When they retreated and withdrew their swords and spears from the crocodile's body, blood instantly gushed out from the holes caused by their attacks.

The crocodile began to scream in pain.
