Anna was a bit awkward when she saw her daughter, but she pretended to be calm, acting as if she and Arthur had just taken care of something.

Meanwhile, Melly looked at Arthur for a while and she really didn't seem to care.

When she looked at Anna, she pointed her hand towards her with an open palm.

"Mom, give me 500 Euros," she said.

"500?" Even Anna, a wealthy mother was stunned at her daughter's request. Usually she only gave her 50 Euros as pocket money. That, of course, was a lot. An ordinary family doesn't spend that much money in a day.

In fact, in developing countries, it's enough for half a month for a family.

Now this little girl wants 500 Euros.

While that's a small amount for Anna where she herself spends more than that in a day, a 12-year-old girl shouldn't be holding that much money or she'll think the world revolves around her.

"What do you want to buy with that much money?" asked Anna as she stepped up to her.

She didn't think her daughter would want money to buy expensive things because she already had everything, from the latest generation gadgets, skin care, make up kits. Her bike was even more expensive than most cars.

"That's privacy, you don't need to know, you just have to do your duty as my mom," the little girl replied.

Arthur who was initially observing her calmly opened his lips slightly, surprised by her nature.

He didn't remember his generation being like that and there was certainly nothing like that in the Sky World.

This seemed to be the case only for the Alpha Generation on earth.

Anna seemed to not know whether to laugh or cry.

"You're right, I have an obligation to give you money as your mother, but not that much, I have a right to know if it's that much," Anna replied, refusing to give her money.

This time, the girl pouted slightly.

Finally, she looked at Arthur again.

"Uncle, how about you, will you give me 500 Euros?" she asked him.

Their age difference was actually only about 6 years, being called uncle once again, Arthur couldn't help but clear his throat softly.

"I don't even have that much money," Arthur replied, going with the flow as he should. And in fact he did not have 500 Euros at the moment.

The money from the agarwood sale was still in Amanda's hands while the money he won at the casino was in Bella's bank account.

"Hmph, not even having 500 Euros, how are you going to feed my mother," she said, which instantly made Anna's eyes widen.

"Girl, what are you saying?" asked Anna in a rather loud voice.

Any other girl would have been intimidated if their mother spoke like that, but Melly remained calm. She replied, "Is something wrong? If he wants to be your man, shouldn't he be giving you money?"

Anna, "..."

Arthur, "..."

Anna staggered back, and almost fell, looking at her daughter in shock.

Of course, she knew that she was intelligent, but she was not prepared when her intelligence reached this point with her age.

"Omg, my mother is stingy and my future father is poor, what a poor fate I have," she said while the man and woman fell silent.

After saying that, she stepped onto the stairs.

Of course, Anna immediately chased after her.

"Melly, wait!" She passed by her and blocked her way.

Her breath caught and she had to pull herself together.

"What?" Melly looked at her and said: "You're not nervous, are you? How old are you? You're not a little girl anymore."

Despite blocking her way, Anna seemed at a loss as to what to say to the girl.

At the same time, Amy came out of her room on the first floor.

She was like yesterday, wearing a skirt and shirt layered with a suit.

One thing she was thankful for this morning besides getting the money transfer from Anna was that she didn't run into Melly when she went downstairs.

However, she did not expect that it would be Anna and Arthur who would meet her. She couldn't help but wonder what was going on there.

Meanwhile, Melly said, "if you have nothing to say, get out of my way!"

She took another step, circling around Anna.

The latter followed her and then asked, "what exactly do you want to buy? Melly, you have to tell me!"

Anna in the end chose to talk about the topic again.

Of course, she had something to worry about.

If her daughter really wanted something and then she did something else to get money, that would be a serious problem.

Anna had hung out with many people and she had enough insight to know almost everything about young girls nowadays.

Some of them, even though they come from rich families, but because they want money, they don't hesitate to do forbidden things.

There were high school students who became prostitutes while middle school students did smaller things like selling their photos.

No matter how bad Anna was as a woman, she didn't want her daughter to do such things.

"Remember, I'll send a spy to watch you if you don't say so," Anna added, giving a threat.

It was enough to make the pretty girl roll her eyes.

"What the hell, you really don't value my privacy," she said.

"Wait until you're 17 before talking about privacy. Right now, there is no privacy." Anna insisted.

Watching the conversation between mother and daughter, Arthur became unsure of his suspicions.

He wondered if Melly was just a smart girl who happened to be playful.

'No, that's not possible.' He immediately denied it for one thing. 'If she was just an ordinary girl, no matter what her nature was, she would definitely be shaken because of my relationship with Anna, but I'm sure she's not at all.'

Right after he thought that, Melly finally replied in a fairly loud voice, "I just want to buy cat and bird food!"

"Cat and bird food?" Anna didn't seem to expect that.

"Yeah, right! Do you mind?" asked Melly.

"How many cats and birds do you want to feed?" Anna asked back because the animals' food wasn't that expensive.

"Don't ask too many questions, I don't care if you don't want to give me money," Melly replied, quickening her pace as she had already arrived at the first floor.

"Wait!" Anna seemed to choose to give in. She finally took out 500 Euros from her bag.

Seeing that, Melly immediately smiled.

Before Anna even handed the money to her, she took it first.

She didn't thank her, running straight away after stuffing the money into her clothes pocket.
