Chapter 77 - New Member Amelia
As I walked out of the room and headed downstairs while Amelia followed me behind. As I was going to climb downstairs, Amelia hugged me from behind and said," please don't leave me, I can't live without the gate".
Hearing her words my expression froze and I asked with a curious look," what do you mean you cannot leave without the gate?".
"The gate is a treasure, which contains a living space inside it", Amelia answered, and then she looked at me and continued," as you may not know, but I am alchemist, so I grew up all the medicine inside the space, so if you want to take the gate then you need to take me with you".
I heard her words and began to think, whether to accept her or not. I was mainly hesitating to accept her as her background was mysterious and I had no idea about her. I needed to talk to Richard about it. Then again she is desperate to go and become my slave. While I used my eye crystal and saw her level, which showed several questions mark which made me warier of her.
Therefore I had become warier of her. Then I thought of the gate, which was the treasure that anyone would dream of, so now I was left in a dilemma and then I finally gritted my teeth and made a decision.
I looked at Amelia and asked," do you want to join our guild?".
Amelia's eyes shined and she nodded her head. Seeing this I formed a contract(orange) which had certain conditions.
The first condition you must not harm the guild members that may threaten their life.
The second condition was to help the members of the guild.
The third condition was to treat everyone like it's your own family and never betray the guild.
When I took out the contract there was faint orange light flashing so Amelia was stunned for a second as a legendary level contract, once signed it could never be erased from the soul until you are dead. After coming to her sense she saw me handing her the contract terms and conditions.
Amelia read the contract which was simple to agree with, she was stunned of a sudden by looking at the terms and conditions of the contract, cause anyone would be attracted by her treasure, so she thought she would need to at least give her treasure for the contract. But it was not as she thought and she asked," don't you want the treasury, as it can contain living things".
I looked at Amelia and answered honestly," it would be a lie to say I am not tempted by the treasure, but it is yours and now you will become the members of the fairy tale. Here we treat each other like a family, so how could I ask for your treasure. Keep it you might have greater use for it".
"You idiot", saying so she signed the contract and then she said," now that I have become a member of fairy tail, now what shall I call you".
I looked at her and said," whatever you like to call me", saying so I was walking downstairs while Amelia followed behind.
When I came downstairs all the members working in the hall was quiet while I looked at them with a puzzled expression. Then I headed towards the counter and asked," Hey why are you all quiet, bring the token I had ordered before".
My words were too loud which woke the people from a daze, and then they looked at Amelia waiting for her answer. Seeing this Amelia nodded and said," I have become a member of the fairy tail guild so now everyone the person standing before you is your boss".
Hearing Amelia words everyone was stunned, including me. I looked at Amelia and said," hey I will not accept your offer, you keep your property to yourself. I don't want your Auction House".
Hearing my words Amelia and other people were speechless, while many people looked at me as if looking an idiot. Amelia then called the vice manager and said with a cold voice," as I am leaving the group you will now manage the Auction House. The reputation must not be stained or else", saying so she released the aura which surrounded the whole building except me.
Seeing this the vice manager and other person working in the guild hurriedly said," don't worry leader we will never do anything that will stain the name of the Auction House".
Hearing this she nodded and then said," bring all the printed tokens".
The vice manager went as fast as he could and then brought a space bag filled with tokens and gave it to Amelia.
Amelia looked at me and said," Master, here are the tokens".
Hearing her call me master, I had chills going through my spine as when she released the aura, I didn't felt any aura which showed her level must be at least Richard level or maybe higher, who knows.
Then I looked at her and said," don't call me master or else I will be beaten by girls, you can call be handsome leader, or handsome boss, but not master".
While Amelia had several black lines on her face and said," master your naming is very bad, so I will call you master".
Now I was sure that I was going to be beaten, but next, I said," tomorrow we are going to sell new food so maybe a few people from your auction house can help us".
Hearing my words Amelia said," master don't worry I will ask them to work for you" while saying so she looked in those people directions while they nodded their heads. Seeing this I said," don't worry, you will be paid for your work", saying so I took out 100 Platinum coins and handed them to Amelia and said," by tomorrow ask them to come to my manor before sunrise as I will have to arrange their work".
When the other people heard about hiring them, several of them had contempt on their faces as their monthly income was at least 1 diamond coin. Even Amelia thought to spend some money to please me as she didn't know in her intelligence that I was rich. But seeing the 100 Platinum coins all the contempt of those people were swept away, while Amelia looked at me with a surprising look as many adventures groups were having trouble to have 1 Platinum coin in base 2. So I could be considered a little rich person here.
Seeing their look I was satisfied and then I said," well I will go to manor".
Hearing my words Amelia said," master wait for me", saying so she instructed the vice manager to handle everything and rushed in my direction. While I had a chill on my back as I saw Amelia coming towards me, then she finally took one of my hands and pressed in her cleavage and said," let's go"....
