Hearing Richards words I had the general idea of growth and red grade equipment.
The growth equipment requires more time to nurture. Mostly Orange and above grade equipment can be used as a sacrifice. And it's pretty hard to find orange and above grade equipment as most people pass it to their loved ones. So the highest grade is the purple grade which can be auctioned off.

Looking at the attributes of the multipurpose bottle I was surprised to find the buff function. It would greatly increase my combat power.
