“Feng dear? Is that you? Come inside,” lady Hiliana instantly spotted her.

“Silly come inside,” lady chuckled and held her rams open awaiting a hug.
Feng ran to her and hugged her waist. “How are you, lady? Did I handle you too roughly? I really should not have just showed you in that closet.”
“Shh little child, I am doing well.” Lady Hiliana surprisingly picked her up and placed her on her lap.
“Lady! I’m too heavy,”
She glanced up at her. But the old lady seemed to be enjoying it quite a lot.
“You still weight less than a cotton ball to me,” she gently kissed her cheeks. “What you did was so brave, but darling, never ever put yourself at risk again. I can’t handle seeing you bed ridden.” Her eyes filled with unshed tears.
Feng Mei gently caressed her cheeks. “I won’t.” But inside, she swore to herself to protect this kind lady and everyone she loved.
“l-lady... shall I give you some privacy,” a hesitant voice interrupted them.
Feng glanced curiously at this guest. “Oli! How are you!” she cheerfully waved at him. The young man had cleaned up well. His long matted hair was chopped up to a four-inch length. It came right above his eyebrows, not hiding his beautifully clear eyes. His face was still tanned, but it looked very clean and handsome. “Wow, you are so handsome. Where were you hiding you beauty?,”
Oli chuckled. “You jest, my lady,” he subtly took looks at her.
“Mister Oli, young mage Yu was interested in speaking with you. Why don’t you go meet with him now?”
“Yes, thank you so muck.. for everything,” he bowed deeply, and he bowed once again towards her.
Feng just waved at him. “You saved everyone’s life. You are awesome, Oli. I’m sure in the future you will gain control over your powers.”
“My lady..... you.... You are my hero...” he whispered and ran out the door as fast as a bullet.
“Well, looks like we can add another name to the list of potential suitors for little Feng,” lady Hiliana juggled her playfully on her lap.
Feng Mei glanced at her questionably. “I don’t think he feels that way. Besides, He is older than me by my decades,”
“Actually, he is just twelve,” she corrected her with a raised brow.
“What! That guy is just twelve how? He looks like he was in his twenties,”
Seriously, that guy was taller than Yubiri. Even his body looked well developed. How can such a person be just twelve?
The old lady decided to explain it to her. “You see, he is a time mage. He manifested at a young age, but soon after he was captured. He had no one to guide him through his growth. His powers grew and became uncontrollable.”
“Just as he could freeze time, he was using the time element to unconsciously age himself. I guess it was his body’s mechanism to grow stronger, faster to escape that wretched place,” she looked at the door sadly.
“When I look at him, I suddenly get reminded of you three kids. All of you miraculously escaped those wretched slavers. If you three had not then..... you would have also been like him,” the lady’s hold tightened a bit.
Feng glanced up at her with a small smile. “But we did. We escaped our fate. We have changed the path of our life and now we have so many loved ones. Just like us, he had broken his fate as well. He too, will find his loved ones in due time. I believe so,”
she said these words from her heart.
The game, though unreasonable, it always gave tasks that help enrich people’s life. Like that first task, without the system’s prompt, she would have left the twins and escaped. In the second task, so many children were saved from the slaves. And now, young mage was saved.
The system operation seemed like it was trying to rectify the plot. Or maybe it had a deeper purpose.

‘Till then I will just live my life here. It’s not that bad after all.’ feeling the warm hug, she smiled dazzlingly.
Feng Mei completely forgot her initial purpose of coming to her and slowly fell asleep on her lap.
