Chapter 82: Chapter 82 – In Search Of The Amulet

“All I have to do is get you the amulet, right? After that you can stop all this.” Feng Mei peered up at him.

“Yes, I can,” he confidently said to her.

“Good, I’ll go get it then,” she laid down and rolled over to the small slid under the door.

“Wait, wait,” he held her hand tightly. “Don’t go. They.... they will kill you. Even if you are a kid, they won’t show you any mercy. Please... at least in here you are safe,”

“But my friends... no, my family is not safe. I have to do something,” she mumbled, and pushed his hands away. “And don’t worry too much. I know when to run and when to fight,”

Feng rolled from under the slit and hid under the stairwell. The above door was most likely locked and the key would be with that perverted guy Jeffrey.... ‘I just have to wait until the feeding time to sneak out.’

It was already getting dark outside. The pirates would most likely return with their loot back to this ship. She only had a small time frame to do all this.

.....

Feng silently waited like a beast waiting for its prey.

After twenty minutes or so, the door opened from above and a thudding footstep descended the stairs. “Bloody hell, this ship has a lot of goods of value,” Jeffrey mumbled to himself. He stood in a corner and secretly stashed away some gold coins and necklaces.

“I have got to get ready for the girls... heheh” he removed his dirty, stinky shirt and threw on a clean looking one. “Which one should I take? I really liked the women from the deck. She had some huge jugs...” he mumbled to himself whilst removing his pants.

Feng keenly glanced at the key that fell down along with his pants.

“Oops almost lost it,” he picked it up, chortling.

She felt slightly crestfallen by this. ‘Let’s not fret too much. I still have a lot to achieve...’

The man whistling turned over with his butt exposed to wear his pants.

Feng took this chance. She sneaked behind him and tightly gripped his pressure point in the back of his neck. The man lost consciousness instantly. ‘this skill taught by lady is really, really, helpful,” she happily tied him up to the nearby pole.

She stripped him of his new clothes and wore it on her.

‘If I have to escape a pirate ship, then I would have to blend with one...’

Even so, her plan was slightly flawed. Her height gave her away.

“Fuck, I wish was a little bigger,” she mumbled, pulling on the shirt that was drowning her form. “Beggars can’t be choosers. Let’s work with what I have,”

She pulled out the key.

Right then the man opens his eyes. “We have a rat on board... but what a delicious looking rat,”

Feng giggled. “Delicious indeed,” she punched him in the face and stuffed his mouth full if his own dirty shirt. “But I am a well-raised rat. I don’t eat shit.” She stood up and walked around the cell. There was only three of it. One was filled with kids, one with Clarina alone and other was the steel cell.

“Looks like you guys don’t know the concept of keeping prisoners. Look at them they are malnourished and dying.”

“hhmmmmhmmmm.” He moaned with a glare.

“Sorry I can’t hear you form all the trash in your mouth.” Feng paused. “Wow, I’m acting like a classic villain, yeah?”

She went around and released all the locks. The children in there did not move at all.

“So you guys want to be sold as salves?”

One brave kid glanced at her intently. “We did not choose this fate,”

“Then fight back. This is your life; do not expect a knight in shining armour. Become one yourself.”‘ she tossed in a few weapons she found in the dungeons. “But let me warn you, I can’t assure you that you will survive this. Your life is in your hand. Fight or be sold,”

Feng left to the steel cell and opened.

“W-what are you doing? I can’t go out? I shouldn’t be out...” he mumbled, slouching in the corner.

“I said I will get you the amulet. So let’s go,” she dragged him out. “Can you use a dagger?”

“Oi—I don’t want to....” he covered in the distant corner.

The other kids looked at him weirdly.

“Look, these little kids are ready to fight for their lives yet you are covering in the distance.” Feng peered at him.

“I don’t want to leave.”

“Suit yourself.” she pushed him back into the cell and closed it. “The door is not locked you can come out anytime,”

Feng then glanced at the others. “The pirates are all in the other ship looting to their heart’s content. We have to make sure that we are hijacking this ship before that.”

“I will first leave out of here. You guys come out after twenty minutes. By then I will try my best to deal with anyone I can to minimize the number of enemies.”

The kids nodded.

She tossed the key to Clarina’s cell to one of the kids.

“If you really don’t want to fight, just stay here. I will try my best to take care of it,” she tied a belt around her waist and insider a dagger in it. In her woolen boots, she hid another dagger.

She climbed up to the stairs and glanced down the kids looked anxious... ‘I might have at least three lives to live in this scenario but they only have one. I can’t risk them. I have to end this before twenty minutes,’

Feng opened the door and walked out onto the dark deck.
