Chapter 81: Chapter 81 – Time Ability

It was dark and stinky. She even stopped on miscellaneous slimy things. Holding back her disgust, she slowly climbed down.

“Okay you. Treat the girl preciously. That is our beautiful golden goose.” The guy’s name Jeffrey slapped another pirate’s head.

“I am. She is resisting.” he threw Clarina inside a cell and locked.

Jeffrey plucked the keys from his hands and stashed it to his belt. “Now feed the freak. If he grows weak, we might not have time to hunt,’

‘Freak? The time user?’ Feng silently crawled down under the stairwell and peered at them. The pirate took a bowl of sludge towards a steel door that was firmly locked.

“Ohhoi, monster. Here’s your food,” the man chuckled, sliding it in the small slot under the door.

“Jeff, how are our new preys...”

.....

“Loaded. The whole ship is filled with gold and silver,” Jeffrey mumbled, scratching his tummy.

“No, I was asking about the women. How are they?”

“Well bred and ready to breed.” Jeffery giggled.

Feng felt a cold fear run down her spine. ‘What kind of guys am I dealing with?’

The two walked up after chatting for a while.

‘Now all I have to do is stop the time controller.’

With her small body she would not be able to deal with twenty pirates, but with the presence of Yubiri there she will have a winning chance. To do that, first she has to unfreeze the time.

Feng scurried over to the steel cell.

“You! You are here!!!” suddenly a screeching voice shouted.

Feng glanced at the distance in alarm.

Clarina was looking at her with tears dripping down her face. “Get me out, please.” She screamed, rattling the cage.

“Shut up.,” Feng ran to her. “I need you to remain silent, okay.”

“I won’t!! Let me out!! You bitch!! Get me out of this dirty cell!!” she became frantic, shouting and screaming profanities at her.

‘Fuck, this can’t do,’ Feng sighed loudly. “Clarina come close. I will release you,”

“Really?!” she anxiously moved close to the bars.

Feng gently touched the back of her neck, pressing the pressure points with the tip of her index finger.

“w-wha.....” Clarina dropped down unconscious.

“Sorry, but not sorry. I will help you out but you would have to wait,”

Feng Mei ran back to the steel cell. The slot under it was small, but with her small malnourished body she could squeeze through it.

“Hey, you inside.”

She tapped it gently.

There was no answer. ‘In any case...’ she ran around and found a small dagger in the clothes that the perverted man had left behind.

Gripping it tight, she slid under the door.

The cell was dark inside, but there was a small window above casting a little of light. Even so, she was not able to see much.

‘Shit, I should have bought a torch...’ she vigilantly sat up.

“Hello?” she gently whispered.

“You should leave.” A croaky voice whispered.

“I am here to help you.. to free you.”

Feng glanced around and noticed a black lump in the corner of the cell. “Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you,”

“No, but I will... so leave...” the lump moved a bit.

Feng tightly clutched the dagger in hand. “Do you have the heart to hurt a little girl?” she whispered as she moved closer.

Suddenly the black figure stood up, standing about six feet tall.

She stumbled back, putting some distance between them.

“What is a little girl doing here? Did they kidnap you?” his worried voice came close.

“Yes,” Feng whispered softly. “I want to leave.... so please.. Help me leave....”

“Where did you come from? Your ship.... is it.... is it frozen?” he anxiously whispered.

“yes.” She glanced at him expectantly. “Can you help me?”

As soon as she said her answer, the tall figure slouched down. “It can’t be helped. Your ship is already in range. It can’t help at all,”

“You can unfreeze the time, right?”

“no I can’t,” he shouted, banging his head on the doors. “Without that I can’t....” he started to mumble to himself.

“Listen, we need to have a proper discussion. Panicking will not help.” she moved closer to him and sat down. She patted the spot next to her, throwing an expectant gaze at him.

“You sure you want a monster next to you,”

“Trust me, I have seen worse,”

The tall man sat down. Under the sunlight his face was clearly seen. He had healthy tanned skin and beautiful black eyes. His long hair was matted and full of dreads. “Where do you want me to start?”

“‘start with how your powers work,” Feng smiled at him.

“well.... I can freeze time for anything that is hundred kilometres from me.” he played with his hair nervously.

“Then why is this ship’s time still running?” Feng curiously glanced up at him. The man fiddled with his hair even more.

“Because my powers can help me control what subjects I want to freeze.”

“Then unfreeze the ship. It’s that easy,” she shot up excitedly.

“No, it’s not. Without my amulet I can’t,”

“What amulet,” Feng frowned slightly.

“My control amulet. It compresses my powers and makes it focus on a single target. That is how I can control my powers, but..... he took it. So he can control the range of what my powers can freeze,” he glanced at her with his eyes wide open.

“Who?”

“The captain, Hades,”
