173 Chapter 17“No, you stupid bone head, that is my child with your brother, you niece or nephew,” Yukiya shouted and pinched his ears tightly. “Don’t you dare call my child a pet again!”
Long Aotian blinked. ‘What kind of medicine did they eat? They are claiming that this fish egg is their child...do they think I’m crazy?’ he mentally scoffed. For centuries, when a dragon mates, the babies are born in the form of dragon eggs. These eggs are nurtured safely before they hatch into healthy baby dragons. It is almost near to impossible to have a fish egg between a dragon is their mate. ‘Maybe they adopted this child, that’s why they are sensitive....’
He slowly glanced up into his mother in law’s eye and whispered, “I sorry, I didn’t mean that,” he could almost imagine the pain she had to go through losing her son again and again. ‘I guess that’s why they adopted a new family member...but will Xia be happy about it?’ he thought with his hands on his chin.
“What are you doing still bowing, get up and eat? You have been flying for almost three days without break you need to replenish,” Yukiya pulled him up and pushed him over to the chair. She then summoned a fresh bowl of dumplings from her space ring and gave it to him.
Aotian gave her a small smile and chomped on some fresh mutton dumplings. The savory soup gently melted into his mouth, almost making him groan.
“It’s not like I forgive you....you took my child’s innocence so you-you need to be responsible.” She whispered with an awkward look.
He spat out the dumpling he was about to swallow. “W-what..... How did you know?” he whispered wiping his mouth clean.
She just threw him a glare and gestured to the small spider that was happily crawling up and about on the deck. “I gave him that enchantment for a reason, you know,”
“I know, Xia told me,” he whispered immediately.

Yukiya frowned. “What did he tell you?” her killer eyes glared right at him.
Aotian scratched his head awkwardly. “He said that he was almost kidnapped and sold as someone’s concubine. That’s why placed it right. I forgot to say this before, but thank you....thank you for taking good care of him these many years. He is such a bundle if joy..... I’m happy that I got to meet him.....”
“Wait wait...he told you only about that? Nothing else?”
“No, nothing else about that incident. Why? Was he hurt by that man? I will exterminate his entire family linen,” Aotian shot up and growled loudly.
Yukiya shook her head fiercely. “No, no, but I’m not talking about that. I’m asking if he told you about the other thing. You know the other thing?”
Aotian titled his head confusedly. “I’m not sure about the other thing you are talking about,”
Yukiya’s frown deepened. She stepped closer, standing right in front of his face. “He really..... You-you both slept together, right?”
Aotian suddenly cleared his throat loudly. “I do not wish to talk about our personal lives with my mother-in-law....” His voice went soft when he noticed her glare intensify. “I’m not happy to tell anyone about our life behind a closed door...I hope you can accept this,” he whispered softly.
Yukiya growled out loud and punched his shoulders. “ahhh, that silly son of mine has been taken advantage of....ahhh!!! LONG KI!! I’m so angry!!” she shouted and hugged her lover all of a sudden.
Long Ki softly patted her trembling shoulders. “Dear, even I won’t be comfortable enough to share such details, let’s not force him,” he whispered.
She nuzzled her head against his chest and glanced up with a pout. “Your brother he doesn’t even know yet... he has taken advantage of my son....,” she whispered willfully.
Seeing his wifey’s pitiful eyes, he softly kissed her forehead. “Aotian, explain. Your sister-in-law is very upset. What is the truth behind your lover? Why are you hiding it?” he said with a stern glance at him.
Aotian scoffed. “That is one that I won’t share with anybody,”
“So you knew?” she whispered with a hopeful glance.
“Yes, I found out later on, his identity does not bother me. And brother, since I am not inheriting the throne, please help me dissolve my position as the second prince,” Aotian said all o a sudden.
Long ki held his wifey back and peered at him. “Why are you saying that all of a sudden? Do you know what kind of serious thing you are speaking of?
Aotian did not meet his eyes. He continuously glanced at the ground and sighed. “His identity will not be accepted by the heavens officials....I-I don’t want him to face any kind of criticism in his life. Me being a prince is like a shackle to him. So I wish to beak it off and live a secular life with him,”
“Absurd!!! You are a mighty golden dragon, the protector and shield of our realm, and you are escaping from your duties because of your lover?” Long Ki growled. His thunderous roar made the ship tremble for a second.
“Brother I..”
“Enough. I do not wish to hear another word. You know the situation up high, yet you speak so immaturely.” Long Ki glared at him.
Aotian silently glanced at him. “But..... You can deal with it much better. You are strong and intelligent. You and uncle can definitely deal with the Rakshasas ....”
“Shut it. Uncle is old in age and I am not as strong as you think. My cultivation is in a stand still whereas the Rakshasas are infiltrating our realms as we speak. You.....I didn’t expect this from you,” he whispered and stride away.
“Brother...” Aotian called, but his brother did not even glance back. It was the first time he had seen his brother shout like this. He usually had a goofy smile on his face as he ran around. Seeing his angry and disappointed look, Aotian felt like his heart broke.
Yukiya sighed. She softly patted his shoulders and followed after her lover.
Aotian sadly chewed on the cold dumpling. He felt a small nudge next to his feet again. The red egg was rolling around him, nuzzling his legs. “Little child, I’m not in the mood to play......” he whispered softly.
Feeling his rejection, the red egg rolled down away.
Aotian sighed with his hands on his head. “I just want a peaceful life with my lover....is it too much to ask for,” he mumbled. He placed the bowl carefully.
The red egg watching him from the deck. It rolled around to the stairwell leading below deck, but he was too bored. So he rolled around to the little spider.
It still with his first two legs lifted sensing the air.
The egg playfully nudged against it. The spider turned over and pushed him an inch away with its foot. Then it went back to sensing the air.
The egg was a little upset by his rejection. He insistently nudged against him.
The spider squeaked softly and pushed him away again. But the egg did not give up, it kept rolling close.
The spider gave up and crawled over to the mast and climbed on it. The egg glanced up and nudged the pole. The spider happily looked down.
The egg was more than dissatisfied this time. It wanted to play with someone, but no one wanted to spend some time. It then glanced at Aotian’s way.
It rolled over to the three steps stairwell leading above deck to the control area. It slowly hopped over the first step. The second step was much easier.
But just as he was about to jump, Yukiya walked up and held her hands out. It happily rolled over to her.
Right then the entire ship turned violently to the left, huge waves crashed inside the deck washing away everything. The little egg was not left behind; he was easily washed away by the strong waves.
“BABY!!!” Yukiya shouted and jumped off board. Hearing her scream, Long ki rushed above. He glanced at Aotian and shouted, “Where is she?”
“The egg...it fell, and she jumped after,” he stuttered.
Without any hesitation he jumped after her, leaving behind Aotian to control the ship. The ghoul and the other joined him soon after and helped him with the mast.
“Check the spider....is it there,” Aotian anxiously shouted.
Felia jumped to the search. Thankfully, the little spider clung to the mast tightly. The shield they had created on it was working marvelously.
“Where is master?” Raijin shouted.
“He jumped off. Ghoul put down the anchors. We need to wait for them,”
“But we can’t. The waves will topple us,” he shouted back.
Aotian bit his teeth. “Then come over here, man the wheel,” he shouted. The ghoul ran over to him quickly and held tightly to the wheel, “where are you going your highness?”
“Well, to search for my brother’s child,” he said and jumped up high. Still in air he transformed into a huge golden dragon and plunged into the waves.
His body hurt from the impact, but he held through it. He swam swiftly down and searched. His brother was swimming ahead with an unconscious Yukiya in his arms. Swiftly he swam over to them and caught them with his talon. He safely took them to the boat.
“Brother, have you lost your mind? Transform and come with me,” he shouted. He took Yukiya from his arms and gave her to Felia. “Take care of her,”
Two dragons, red and golden, jumped into the deep dark ocean.
