143 Chapter 143 – The dormitory

The transportation array was quite close to the campuses.

this was the first time Feng had actually seen a transportation array so she looked around curiously. The place was a huge arch with beautiful carvings on it. And below that was a circular raise platform. intricate drawings were painted on that array on the ground. Groups of students stepped on in it and when the beautiful big gem in the corner when green they all dissipated into a gust of smoke.

she gasped out loud. ‘oh my god.... isn’t this quite risky? What if I don’t get transported completely? What if I’m diced to pieces?!’

Elle held his hand gently. “There is nothing to worry about. This array has been here for hundreds of years.”

“haha....hundreds of years! Did they do any maintenance or stuff on it?”

“don’t know,” Elle casually shrugged.

Looking at the majestic yet fearsome array Feng gulped loudly. The disparity between her old life and this game world was too vast, now she first hand felt how much powerful this world was.

Their turn came around sooner than expected.

Elle and the others walked in while Feng hesitantly stood by the sidelines. “are you guys sure this is safe?”

.....

“Come on Meimei its going to be alright,” Elle urged her softly.

But Feng was not convinced. This was a hundred-year-old array that was not even maintained properly. What if something unsightly happened especially since her stupid game system would give her shit tasks, she had become fearsome of the unknown.

Suddenly she felt a warm palm touch her hand.

Glancing up she saw Aiden’s smiling face. “I’m here. don’t be sacred. Nothing will happen to you,”

“We will protect you,” Ethan said from the other side and hugged her tightly.

Slowly they both tugged and pulled her onto the platform.

The green gem in the corner lit up and slowly Feng’s hands started to disappear.

She watched as parts of her body dissipated into a powder-like substance. just like when you are going through a roller coaster she felt her stomach pull up giving her a small sense of dread. “Guys... I don’t think I feel well.....”

“Me neither...” Elle whimpered slightly

Their figures disappeared and they all eared in another array that was just as grand as that one.

Feng fell to her ground panting softly. Her body was still shaking slightly. The first thing she did was look at her hands and legs. Only after confirming that she was in one piece did her racing heart calm down.

Elle by her side was holding he mouth like she was on the verge of puking.

Ethan and Aiden were beside her.

“you, okay?” Feng shot up and walked up to them.

Elle shook her head. “I thought it would be easy.... But it’s very hard. I don’t feel so well...” she started to make puking sounds.

Feng panicked. She held up her cupped palm. “Puke here!”

Elle looked at her completely mortified. “No!” she ran out of the array and puked by a nearby tree.

Many just like Elle were puking their guts off.

Feng was surprisingly feeling okay. She had never gotten sick when she rode a roller coaster anyway. Motion sickness was not something she had to worry about.

She glanced up at Ethan and Aiden. Ethan looked fine but Aiden looked slightly pale. His pink lips were discolored.

“Aiden?”

“I’m fine... I’m feeling great,” he gave a strained smile at her.

“If you are not feeling well it’s okay to puke. Get it out of your system. Or else you will feel it all throughout the day,”

Aiden ‘s eyes widened slightly. “no.. I don’t feel like puking. I’m a man why would I puke at such a small inconvenience,”

“Man, or women everyone gets sick.” She cupped his face and turned him directly to face the groups of students who were puking in the corner. “its okay to puke.”

Aiden made a wrenching sound and closed his mouth with his hand. “I don’t want to puke. No, I will never puke.”

Ethan by his side chuckled loudly. “He is just pretending to be strong. Let’s get to our room so that he can puke his guts out.”

“haha okay,”

Feng picked up a limp noodle-like Elle from the corner and they all headed off to their dormitory.

The room assigned for Elle and her was number 201 and for the boys, they were assigned to room number 401. The two rooms were quite far from each other, in male and female dormitories. they went their separate ways to sort out their luggage.

Their rooms were quite easy to find. Feng and elles’ were on the second floor of the female dormitory. surprisingly enough the other dormitory mates had already moved in. most of their luggage were left out to be sorted by the maid.

The school allowed only one maid and one guard to accompany the students so the single maid had to take care of everything including cleaning, sorting out things, taking care of their own master, and so on. It was a very big responsibility to take on and only the most trained servant was allowed to accompany the students to their school stay.

Lana was waiting for Feng in their room along with Elle’s maid since they both were from the same family so they had great coordination and had always sorted out all of their luggage. They were currently folding few of their clothes and arranging the cupboard chit-chatting with each other softly.

As soon as they entered the room, they both froze.

“Young miss!” Lana ran over to her. But the other maid who looked like a middle-aged lady slowly walked up to Elle and bowed gracefully.

Looking at this Lana followed along with her example and bowed. “miss we have arranged most of the luggage in your room. Some of them are in still on the way. We will get them by tomorrow.” She smiled up at her.

Feng looked around. It looked like a common tea room of some kind with a pair of sofa and a tea table with a plate of snacks on it. On either side was a door that probably led to each of their bed rooms.

“which one is mine?” Feng looked at Lana.

“the one to the left miss. Both rooms have a great view of the outside. Its east facing so we will have great sunlight in the morning. And since we shall have sunlight early in the morning, I had a few thick drapes moved here. even miss Elle’s curtains have to be changed.” She mumbled to herself.

Feng chuckled and glanced at Elle. “Shall we check out our rooms?”

“yeah~” they both ram into their respective rooms.

Feng’s room was spacious like her previous life’s penthouse. There was a huge bed close to the window with whimsical curtains hanging around. There were a few cupboards and other trunks it there. on the right was a small table and chair most likely used for studies.

And right opposite the bed was a huge shelf filled with transparent crystal that she had seen in classes.

“These are?”

“Your text books miss. madam had them all sorted out as per the year of your studies to make it easy for you. Even miss Elle has a copy of it all. There is more space in the back of the shelves. you can use some of the space to store your record in class. But make sure to label them so that you remember.”

Feng glanced at the glass shelf in shock. She was used to the thought of books but looking at the crystal balls she was slightly.. thrown off balance. ‘won’t we get eye problems if we study with that small crystal? Or do they also project onto the walls like in our class? Even so, I prefer a traditional book where I can flip through pages.”

“Miss is it not to your liking?” lana softly whispered by her side.

“it’s okay. It’s just I prefer traditional paper books rather than crystals for studies. But u can adjust.”

After looking around for a bit she ran to Elle’s room. Her room was the exact copy of hers but Elle’s room was slightly more decorated than hers. her maid had even hung a few paintings on the bare walls to create a homier environment.

“Elle, we have similar rooms!” she excitedly hugged her.

Elle lifted her up and twirled her around. “And we are going to be roommates and classmates for the years to come! Oh, I’m so excited! It’s like I have a sister!”

“Yes, I am your sister. Aunty technically but I’m like your sister though.” Feng hugged her and kissed her cheeks. She was thirty-five in real age so Elle was like a little sister to her. She was so precious and cute.

Feng had never thought she would actually like kids

But Elle changed her mind.

‘I the future I will have smart and cute kids like Elle. Aww, they will be so adorable...’ she thought in her mind and smiled dazzlingly.

Elle suddenly looked up. The third eye in between her brows lit up in a golden green glow. “wow..... you will have five children..... that’s amazing.”

“Eh? What?”

“You will have five children Meimei.”

“ehhhhhhh!!!!!!!”
