134 Chapter 134 – Kisses
Lana fiddled with her for what seemed like an eternity. “it’s done! Miss, have a look,”
Feng had dozed off by then. He snorted awake and peered at her reflection. Lana had tied her hair up and curled the ends. On the top, she had placed a white lace bow and a few ribbons hanging low.
A few whisps of hair hung on her forehead creating a more feminine look contrary to her outfit. A small blue sapphire drop earring hug on her ears. Lana had skipped on a necklace choosing to pin a blue sapphire with red gems brooch on her coat.
Feng blinked at herself. Every time she looked at her reflection she was stunned. She touches her face checking whether the reflection was in fact her. Her face had turned a slight shade of olive after being indoors for a long and her lips had a slight pink tinge to them. “Did you apply rogue to my lips?”
“no, your lips are naturally pink, miss,” Lana said with a doting expression. “Aw how can you look so handsome and cute at the same time? I wish to just hug and smother you,” she did just as she said. She hugged her softly into her blossom and squealed. “The young masters are going to be shocked silly.”
Feng raised a brow. “Why?”
“Looking at you of course,”
Feng rolled her eyes. “oh, please I’m not that beautiful.” She stood up and wore her coat. “ill go and check on Elle if she is ready.”
It was already eight in the morning and they had to be at school by eight-thirty. This was their first official day of entering school and the second day they would be mandated to move into the school’s assigned rooms.

She glanced at the huge trunks that were being packed by the other servants. Seeing the mere size of it made her tremble. ‘How can they fit everything in my room? Sigh need to have a talk with Lana to remove most of my things. Why would I need a trunk full of hair bows!’ she thought that and glanced back. but Lana had a bright smile on her face as she handpicked all the jewelry and accessories to go with her clothes.
Seeing her happy self, Feng did not have to heart to break it.
Sighing, she walked over to Elle’s room.
Elle had already finished getting ready in her skirt and matching shirt. She even added a small Barret to the top of her head and her hair was done in two braids hanging on her sides. she looked adorable.
Feng squealed and hugged her and twirled her around.
Elle giggled. “meimei you look so handsome. Why don’t you marry me?”
“ohh young child, you have a lot of years to go. when you are old enough as me again.” Feng pinched her small nose.
Elle giggled cutely.
they both walked down to the foyer.
“Looks like the ladies are ready before the boys,” lady Hiliana came to them and carried them up in both her arms.
Elle hugged her tightly while Feng just held her shoulder to keep herself from falling. “m-mum you mustn’t lift heavy things.” She shyly whispered.
Till now, calling lady Hiliana her mum sounded so awkward., Feng loved her so much but calling her mum didn’t seem natural to her at all. But whenever she called her lady Hiliana she would get upset. So, Feng got used to muttering mum now and then to satisfy her.
Lady Hiliana gently kissed her cheeks and nuzzled against their faces. “Who said you both are heavy? you both weigh like feathers to me.”
She placed them both down and gently touched the tops of their heads. “I’m not going to be seeing my girls for six months after this..... sigh I wish I could just keep you guys at home and hug you every day.”
“Come on Hiliana children have to grow up.” lady Perlin came up to her side and gently pinched both their cheeks. “Feng, Elle, are you sure you guys will be okay living in school? I could try to talk to the principal. He seems too smitten with the twins. I can definitely negotiate something,” she looked at them with a small frown.
“it’s okay aunty.” Feng held Elle’s hand. “we’ve got each other’s back. Ad living in school is also a new experience for us.”
“true” lady Hiliana gently pinched Elle’s pink cheeks. “Kids listen if anyone bullied you, guys, you must tell us.” She looked at her sister.

Feng looked at it with awe.

Feng and Elle nodded.
Right then they heard a loud gasp.
Looking up the stairwell Feng noticed Aiden and Ethan standing there frozen.
“See I told you they would freeze up,” Elle tugged at her hand with a soft giggle.
Feng pinched her playfully.
Ethan first walked up to her and held out his hand. “You look stunning today,”
“So do you both,” Feng smiled up at them.
Both Ethan and Aiden had combed their unruly blond curls to the sides giving them a princely look. They looked so handsome.
‘ah! my boys are going to break girls’ hearts left and right.’ She squealed in her mind but on the outside, she maintained a graceful smile.
Aiden stepped up to her and pushed Ethan’s outstretched hands. “I shall escort her to the carriage.”
Feng looked at them both. ‘Ah this is my chance.’ She folded her hands up and raised a brow at them.
Both and Ethan and Aiden looked stunned at her rejection.
“F-Feng..... are you upset with us?” Ethan was the one to frown first. The poor kid looked heartbroken
But Feng held strong. ‘I can’t fall for their puppy dog eyes. Stay strong Feng. You must find the chance for them to get close to the duke. They must give him a hug today!! They must!’ she looked away. “Yes.”
“Why? Can you tell us why?” Aiden the confident one seemed shaken by her admission.
Feng glanced up at them both.
“Is it because I teased you? I’m sorry for that. I won’t do that ever don’t be like this.” Aiden tugged at her hand.
“it’s not because I teased you. It’s because of something else.”
“What? What is it?” Ethan moved close.
“The duke. I heard that you guys won’t even give him a hug. When I addressed this problem, you guys brushed me away. It’s a serious issue. He is your dad. You must show love to him. so what you guys are guys, that doesn’t mean you can’t hug your dad at this age. You are kids. this is the time to climb all over his back and play piggyback. Instead, you both just give him a cold shoulder. How fair is that?”
Ethan and Aiden glanced at each other. {‘shit sounds angry.’} Aiden sent a telepathic message.

Feng shook her head. “you guys are skipping over the main issue again. Go and hug duke only then will you guys get to hold my hand. Oh, and give aunt a kiss on her cheek as well.”
Both the boys looked at her with their eyes wide open.
Beside them lady Hiliana giggled holding her sister’s hand. “See Feng has got your back.”
Lady Perlin looked anxious. “What if the boys hate me after this?”
“Shh, they are like stray cats. Only after you desensitize them would you be able to get close. besides they are going to school you don’t get to see them in a long time. Don’t you want Ethan to kiss you?”
Lady Perlin nodded vigorously. “Yes.”
“Then stay silent and watched.”
Ethan was the first one to approach lady Perlin. He looked up at her, biting his lips.
“What is it, Ethan?” lady Perlin leaned down, anticipating a kiss.
Ethan kissed his fingertips and placed it on her cheek. “I.... I will miss you....”
Aiden followed his example and did the same. He gave her a finger kiss on her cheeks. “Mum...”
Lady Perlin had tears in her eyes. leaned down she hugged them both delicately. “My boys... I’m so happy. I’m so happy today... I will miss you both... stay safe... here.” she handed a communication crystal to each of them. “Call mum every night, okay? I will always be thinking of you.”
Aiden wiped her tears off her cheeks. “I will think of you too. Stay healthy. And do not trust strangers. don’t go out alone. Always have a few guards with you,” he whispered hugging her tightly.
“Oh, my babies. I will... I will be safe and sound here. you both just have to stay well and come back home.”
