Chapter 114: Chapter 114 – Age restriction

Just after a while, Ethan and Aiden joined the line in front of her. She gladly gave way for them.

But all of a sudden a redhead also cut the line and stood in front of her.

He glanced back at her with a condescending look. “move back. Why are you sticking so close?”

‘Huh? Buddy, you were the one who cut the lines. Feng calm yourself, this is a literal ten-year-old....’ taking a deep breath she calmly smiled at him. “the line starts there. I think that’s where you should stand as well...” she pointed to the end of the line.

Claudius glanced back and nodded. “oh I see..” he stood right there unmoving.

“I don’t think you understood. The line begins there. no cutting of lines allowed,”

“These two cut the line,” he pointed at Ethan and Aiden.

.....

The twins glanced back right then with a matching glare in their green and blue eyes. “we are kids,”

“So am I, why can’t I stand here?” he tilted his head like an innocent puppy.

Gritting her teeth, Feng just let it go. ‘Fine, it’s just a spot in a line. Let’s not be cheap and give the kid a spot.’

Elle glanced back and hurriedly stood in front of her. “Why are you bullying my Meimei? Don’t you have decency? You should treat women with respect,”

“Elle, it’s okay,” Feng pulled her back and hugged her softly. “he is a kid. So it’s okay to stand there.”

“Who said I’m a kid. I’m ten and I’m a man.”‘ Claudius glared at her.

‘Okay boy didn’t you just claim to be a kid?! What do you want? You want to cause a problem?’ Feng lost the patience she carefully held. “Man? Where? All I see is a short kid.”

Claudius was shorter than her by a head. Even the twins were taller than him.

“You.. you!! I’m tall. You are the one who looks like a dusting stick! Who likes tall women? No one! I especially hate them!”

“Thank god, I thought you might like me. I don’t particularly enjoy being adored by a brat either.” She shot back with a smile still on her face.

Looking at his enraged pink face really brought a sadistic pleasure in her heart. ‘Maybe I am a sadist.. ahh why is it so awesome bullying young kids.... they are super cute when they are angry.’

Claudius looked like he was shot in the leg. He glanced away, refusing to even take a look back.

As the lien progressed, he remained silent.

Feng was thankful for this new change. ‘I have to remember all the things I’ve learned. Ahh my mind is foggy. Maybe I should have gotten a small cheat sheet....’ she contemplated what to do as they got closer to the small table set up by the gate.

Three middle-aged men and a older looking woman sat there in their booth taking the children’s information. After filling the forms the kids were made to touch a small red crystal.

“Elle, what is that crystal?”

Before she could reply, Claudius glanced back with a scoff. “country bumpkin, the school uses it to analyze your bone age,”

“ah, so it will be revealed to the whole world. You are a kid after all. What a wonderful sight it would be,”

Claudius bit his lips and turned back.

Elle silently giggled. “he is silly.’ She whispered.

“I know, I don’t like silly kids,”

Claudius looked back with a slight glare. “I don’t like tall girls either,”

“Everyone is tall to you,” Elle said with a small frown. “Stop talking to us. We don’t like you.”

Claudius just hmped and tapped on Aiden’s shoulders. “Girls are annoying..”

Aiden just frowned. “Feng is not annoying you are. You are ten, right? Act your age.”

“Ah, how old are you then? Aren’t you the same age?” he goaded him.

Ethan, who was listening silently, glanced at him. “Aiden don’t indulge him,”

The line moved up, and it was the twin’s turn to test.

Ethan first sat down, filling the form.

Feng peered down at him. He noticed him writing only his own name not his family name. She frowned. ‘Isn’t he going to write his family name?’

As if understanding her thought, Aiden glanced back and explained. “We are going to hide our identity. The duke and duchess agreed with that,”

“Why?” she was genuinely confused. The kids were always against using the family name.

“Simply,” Aiden shrugged.

Ethan finished his form and handed it to the kind older lady. “Young one, touch this crystal with both your hands, let your plans lay flat on it, okay?”

Ethan nodded and touched the small red crystal. It lit up, exposing a number 6 inside.

“six? Such great potential,” the lady gently caressed Ethan’s head.

He simply nodded and gave way for Aiden.

“you... you both are six?! H-how... how are you...” Claudius stammered in shock.

Aiden just smiled at him dazzlingly. “unlike an old ten-year-old man, we are six years old kids...”

He too touched the crystal. The old lady passed them both and handed the form. “why don’t you boys go in for the next test?”

“no, we’ll wait for the others,” Ethan and Aiden waited for them.

Claudius took the test and passed it.

“Elle, is there an age restriction?” she curiously whispered.

“Hmm, only those below thirteen can admit here,” she whispered back. soon her turn came she ran there and fill the form slowly.

Feng stood there with a small frown. ‘Wait... what if the crystal can calculate my mental age?! I’m more than thirty-five! I.. I won’t pass the test! Ahh, what to do!!!!’
