Chapter 1271 Answers

Everyone watched as Emma walked away with a lot of money by giving the shop the Flamelord Deer's antlers. She had completed the mission and in one fell swoop taken away tens and thousands of Fire coins. That was simply incredible for everyone to watch.

Ning looked at his daughter from behind as she walked away with a bright smile on her face, which caused him to be even more suspicious of what had actually happened.

Once they were out, he couldn't immediately ask her as many people followed her in what they believed was a secret.

Any other time, Ning would have loved to let these people follow him and find a place to quickly teach them a lesson for some entertainment, but right now, he was worried for his daughter and didn't want that.

The Continental Sword flew out and he swung it behind. As he did, a large screeching sound escaped his sword, striking select individual's ears with a frequency that made them all collapse to the ground at once.

He then turned around and looked at the people that were on the ground. "Anyone that follows us from here on out is forfeiting on their life," he said. "Follow us and I will kill you."

The men and women backed off in fear, still holding onto their ringing ears in pain as they ran away. The crowd backed off a bit as well in fear, confused as to what had just happened.

"What's going on?" Emma asked with a surprised look. She had never seen her father freak out like that. She worriedly looked to him for an answer, and he turned around to look at her for the answer.

"You tell me what's going on!" he asked. "How the hell did you get the Flamelord Deer's antlers? Did you hurt it? Did you kill it? That's the only way to get the antlers."

"No!" Emma said quickly. "Why would I ever do that?"

"Then? How did you do it?" Ning asked.

Emma smiled. "I remembered something that I could do as a Will back on Earth and wondered if I could do it here as well," she said.

"Do what?" Ning asked.

"Control Qi and Mana to my will," she said. "Not only that, I can create things to the best of my ability as a Will. After practicing for a while, I can now create things that not just have a physical body, but also have Qi or Mana in them."

"Okay…" Ning said. "And…?"

"And… when I saw the deer today, I didn't want to hurt it," she said. "But… I also wanted the deer's antlers. And so… I wondered… if I could perhaps do the same with Essence as well."

"Lo and behold, I can," she said excitedly. "It takes a lot of my energy, but I can make stuff out of Essence easily."

Ning stared for a moment. "What?" he asked, unable to believe what he was hearing. "You can create items with Essence?"

"Yes," Emma said. "Well, it's a little weird. I can use my own energy to convert it to Essence and then create matter out of it. It does leave me quite tired though. Once we go back, I'll have to go back home for a bit to gather some energy before coming out."

"How… does that make sense?" Ning couldn't help but ask. It was true that he hadn't cared much about Wills aside from what they did, and Planetary wills more so than not seemed like normal humans, so they weren't even that important for him to think about.

All that he cared about them was the fact that they were will, and as such, Emma would most likely live for as long as Earth and its inhabitants themselves lived on.

"But… but Essence isn't your energy," Ning said. "How can you…" He needed answers. "System! What is going on?" he quickly asked.

<This is normal. Wills are able to create any sort of energy as they wish.>

"What? Any?" Ning asked. "Is that not outside of the rules of the universe or something?"

<No. All of it is perfectly fine. The rule comes into place when they do things that tamper with the souls of regular humans.>

<Or at least harm it to the point where it can no longer reincarnate>>

"I… see," Ning said softly. He still had a lot of questions in his mind, so he walked back to the hotel while gathering his thoughts.

"Is everything right, papa?" Emma asked.

"Yes, Everything is alright," Ning said. "It seems I just had no idea about this stuff. You said you used your own energy to create the Flamelord Deer's antler?" "Yeah, I feel weird not having my energy with me. I wasted so much during the practice," Emma said. "I will need to practice to become efficient at turning my energy into Essence precisely."

Ning nodded. "So you want to go back," he said.

"Yeah, for just a moment," she said. "Can Umbra come with me?"

Ning shook his head. "You'll be in there for mere minutes. That is not long enough time for Umbra," he said.

"Oh right," Emma remembered. "I'll try my best to come back in a few minutes. How long will that last outside?"

"About half a month," Ning said. "Maybe more. I'll let the system notify me when you're ready to leave."

"Okay," Emma said. "Send me back."

Ning waved his hands and Emma disappeared. She went back to Earth where she immediately started absorbing the energy that came out of the Qi Origin of the planet.

Ning then took Umbra and the children to the hotel's beast repository where he let them stay and mentioned that he likely wouldn't come for her for a while as he planned for something.

Hearing that, Umbra was understanding. Besides, she was used to this by now.

Ning went up to his hotel room and quickly closed the door before sitting on the bed. Then, every question he had thought of came regurgitating out.
