The three of them sat down to talk while drinking some tea as Qin Lai disappeared into his "secret den" to fetch the dress.
"Ah!" A sound of a crash came from inside the room and then the sound of Qin Lai's voice, "Don't worry, don't worry! Nothing happened."
He Xinyan raised one eyebrow before setting the teacup down. As she stood up, the door opened and Qin Lai pushed a full-sized mannequin out of the room. It was on a stand that could be pushed by wheels, and he rolled it out to where they were sitting.
The mannequin was covered with what seemed like a glass dome, and there was a red velvet blanket covering the dome so they couldn't see what was inside.
