Chapter 139 Liu Wei
There were two people inside the office.
Li Yuyan stopped and her eyes met with Su Zhiming's angry glare. Did she come in at the wrong time?
Su Zhiming was sitting on the couch inside his office and there was another man sitting across from him. The man seemed to be in his 40s or even early 50s, and his eyes lit up when he saw Li Yuyan.
He stood up and walked over to Li Yuyan, "President Su, is this your wife?"
Su Zhiming also stood up and followed him, "Yes, President Liu! This is my wife, Li Yuyan."
He then turned to glare at Li Yuyan, "Hurry up and greet President Liu! He is the CEO of the prestigious Liu Corporation!"
Li Yuyan glanced at Liu Wei and nodded her head slightly, "Hello, President Liu."
Liu Wei's smile widened and he lifted one of Li Yuyan's hands, "Nice to meet you. President Su is very lucky to have such a beautiful wife like you."
Li Yuyan smiled softly and pulled her hand away. She knew of the Liu Corporation. It was a very powerful company, even more powerful than the He Corporation.
However, there was still quite a distance between the Liu Corporation and the Gu Corporation.
Liu Wei wasn't the typical fat and old CEO, although he was old. He was skinny. Very skinny. He was the stick type of skinny, and it seemed like he was even thinner than Li Yuyan! He wore a thin pair of glasses over his slim and long face, which didn't look very handsome.
Liu Wei's eyes were glued onto Li Yuyan as she walked over to Su Zhiming and wrapped her hand around his.
"When is your work finished?"
Su Zhiming sighed, "Can't you see that I am in a meeting with President Liu? Go wait for me outside."
Li Yuyan frowned unhappily and reluctantly let go of his arm, however, President Liu quickly stopped her.
"President Su, don't worry about it. We can discuss the plan later. Your beautiful wife is obviously more important. I will get going then."
Liu Wei grabbed onto Li Yuyan's hand once again and slipped a small sheet of paper into his palm. He grinned at her before leaving the room.
"Xi Jun, go escort President Liu out of the building!"
"Yes, President Su."
Once they were gone, Su Zhiming turned around and glared at Li Yuyan.
"Are you stupid?! Don't you know how to knock?! I worked so hard to arrange this meeting with President Liu, and you just ruined it!"
Li Yuyan pouted unhappily, "I didn't know. . . I'm sorry."
Su Zhiming knit his eyebrows together frustratingly and sighed, "Whatever. Let's go home."
The two of them drove home, and the ride was silent the entire way. When they returned, it was a little past dinnertime already.
They went to the He mansion first and Bai Jiawei and Li Huiran were already eating dinner.
"Where is Xinyan?" Su Zhiming asked.
"She went to go eat dinner outside."
A hint of disappointment flashed past Su Zhiming's face as he sat down.

Meanwhile, in the house next to them, two people were having a very happy and romantic dinner together!
Well actually, they had finished their dinner already and was on their dessert.
Gu Yechen carried all of the plates into the kitchen as He Xinyan took out the two 8-inch cakes she had bought.
Her expression was almost like she had just won a lottery as she stared at the two beautiful cakes! It looked so delicious!
She cut two slices from each cake and placed one of each on the clean plates.
"Yechen! Gu Yechen!" He Xinyan ran into the kitchen, still holding the plastic knife.
"Let's go eat cake!"
Gu Yechen finished washing his hands and nodded his head. He Xinyan held onto his hand and pulled him out of the kitchen and to the dining table.
The entire way, Gu Yechen smiled sweetly as he stared at their intertwined hands. When they arrived, she let go and pointed at the two plates of cake.
To be honest, Gu Yechen didn't really like sweets, but he wasn't going to ruin his baby's mood! So of course, he ate the cake willingly.
After the two slices, Gu Yechen was finished but He Xinyan cut herself another slice of the mango mousse.
The rest of the cake was stored inside Gu Yechen's fridge since He Xinyan came here very often now. It was practically her house!
Well, it was. . . since the house was under He Xinyan's name.
They then sat down on the couch to watch television, and Gu Yechen carried over his laptop to finish off his work.
When He Xinyan returned home, it was already time for bed.

Li Yuyan and Su Zhiming also returned home and they were laying together on the bed in the dark room. Li Yuyan rolled around and hugged Su Zhiming from behind.
"Zhiming. . ."
"Go to sleep."
"Zhiming, you haven't touched me in over two weeks already. Both of our parents want grandchildren, we should hurry up."
Su Zhiming sighed. How was he going to divorce her if she got pregnant?!
"No, I'm tired. I am also very busy recently, so it isn't a good time to have a child now. We can wait for later."
Li Yuyan pressed her lips together and let go of Su Zhiming, turning around to face the other way. When she closed her eyes, images of He Xinyan bullying her on set today came into view.

Li Yuyan was also angry at Su Zhiming! She was beginning to slightly regret marrying him although his company was improving by the day. She couldn't let go of him but she couldn't wait either!
She needed power now! Li Yuyan couldn't stand it even a second longer! Since Su Zhiming couldn't help her, she would need someone that could.
Li Yuyan's eyes narrowed as she remembered the small slip of paper Liu Wei had handed her today at Su Zhiming's company.
