Chapter 108 Caught
"Baby, you know that you are playing with fire, right? Why just touch my body, you can play with it too!"
He Xinyan quickly pulled her hand back and jumped off the bed, "I'm hungry! I'm going to go get ready to eat breakfast!"
She practically ran into the bathroom and shut the door close.
Gu Yechen watched her go and chuckled. It seems like his body was still not appealing enough to get her to do something with it. . .
After He Xinyan came back out, she gasped when she saw that Gu Yechen was still here. He was putting on his shirt when she walked out.
"You have your shirt! Why didn't you wear it last night?"
Gu Yechen buttoned the black silk pajamas all the way to the second button and stopped there, leaving the top button open.
"It was raining when I came last night, and I couldn't bring an umbrella up. My shirt was wet so I had to sleep without it."
"Oh. . ." He Xinyan nodded but didn't dare look into Gu Yechen's eyes, because he still had that amused expression on his face.
"I'm going to go eat breakfast now! Goodbye!"
After He Xinyan had left, Gu Yechen placed the new rose onto her bed stand before leaving the He mansion.

He Xinyan skipped downstairs, still fantasizing about Gu Yechen's perfect body.
Oh, he was the perfect boyfriend!
"The weather is very nice since it rained yesterday, so you should go out for a walk while I'm at work. You can have Yuyan go with you or one of the workers." Bai Jiawei said as he placed his fried egg onto Li Huiran's plate.
He Xinyan walked in and saw this scene, "Good morning, everyone!"
Su Zhiming smiled at her, "Good morning."
Under the table, Su Zhiming received a kick to the shin by Li Yuyan.
"Were you guys just talking about a walk?" He Xinyan smiled, "Auntie Li, I have a lot of free time today. I can walk with you."
Li Huiran's hand shook slightly and she squeezed out a smile, "It's okay. Yuyan can go with me."
He Xinyan raised one eyebrow before nodding, "Okay."
He Xinyan had to admit that Bai Jiawei was a very good husband since Li Huiran got pregnant with his son. There was no way in the past that Bai Jiawei would help Li Huiran pull out her chair or put food onto her plate.
Bai Jiawei had always put himself on a higher pedestal than Li Huiran because he thought that he had brought Li Huiran to the higher class.
However, in He Xinyan's mind, they were the same. Her mom brought Bai Jiawei up, and Bai Jiawei brought Li Huiran up.
Was there really a difference?

After breakfast, Li Huiran did actually go on a walk with Li Yuyan, and Bai Jiawei and Su Zhiming left for work.
He Xinyan got onto her balcony and sat on the couch, reading a book. The weather and air outside were very nice after the rain, and it brightened He Xinyan's mood.
She read for about 15 minutes when she suddenly dropped her book and stood up.
Li Huiran and Li Yuyan were gone, and Bai Jiawei was at work! There was no one inside the house except for her.
Why didn't she think of this earlier?
He Xinyan never believed that Li Huiran was pregnant, and she still didn't. This was the perfect time for her to go into Li Huiran's room and look for anything that might prove that she wasn't pregnant.
The chances were low since Li Huiran was a careful and sly person, but it was still worth the try.
However, Li Huiran and Li Yuyan had left a long time ago, and she didn't know when they would be back.
He Xinyan didn't want to give up on the opportunity, so she stood up and ran out of her room. She went downstairs to check that they weren't back yet before going back upstairs and to the master bedroom.
She slowly opened the door and stepped in, closing the door behind her.
Inside, everything was neatly organized, and there were no spare papers or files on any of the tables.
He Xinyan walked over to the nightstand on Li Huiran's side and opened the drawer. Inside, she immediately saw the folded paper with the pregnancy report.
She smoothed the paper out and took out her phone, quickly snapping a folder of the information. She folded it and placed it exactly where she had found it, and began looking through the other things inside the cabinet.
"Let me get my jacket first!"
He Xinyan's eyes widened as she accidentally dropped the medicine bottle she was holding. It was Li Huiran's voice!
He Xinyan's ears caught onto the sound of footsteps growing louder and louder. She quickly threw the medicine bottle back into the drawer and closed it.
Where could she hide?
She first thought of the closet, but then remembered that Li Huiran was here to get a jacket. With nowhere else to go, He Xinyan slid under the bed, coughing slightly because of the dust accumulated in the tight space.
She heard the door click open and a pair of feet walked in. He Xinyan held her breath and closed her eyes tightly, praying that Li Huiran wouldn't see her.
The bed base was actually lifted up quite high, and if you looked down, you would easily notice there was a person hiding under it.
To He Xinyan's relief, Li Huiran went straight for the closet. She stayed in there for about a minute, probably trying on different jackets to see which one looked the best.
"Mom, what's taking you so long? That cake shop is really popular, and there won't be any seats left if you keep wasting time." Li Yuyan also stepped into the room and walked into the closet.
He Xinyan bit her lip and curled up into a ball, trying to move to the center of the bed so it would be harder to see her.
"Wait, wait. Let me use the restroom quickly. You can wait for me in the car."
"Okay, okay." Li Yuyan walked out of the closet and towards the bedroom door. However, when she was a few steps away, she suddenly stopped.
