Chapter 1853: Fire
The waiter smiled and nodded. He then led both of them to a private room. The waiter then served them with some green tea. He told them to drink them while they would make the decision to choose the food that they would like to order
The waiter left the room after telling them to click on the button to call for the waiter. Yu Qi drank some green tea before looking at the menu book. After selecting a few dishes, they called the waiter to take their order. After the waiter took their orders, they talked while waiting for the food to arrive. "Oh... That Bai Family targets me again." Yu Qi said.
"Bai family?" Long Hui narrowed his eyes.
"That Bai Family... Bai Shu Jin's family." Yu Qi tried to make Long Hui recall that family.
"Oh... him... What did they do to you this time?" Long Hui remembered Bai Shu Jin. "His father is planning to snatch my employees." Yu Qi leaned her chin on her hand.
"Planning?" Long Hui lifted his eyebrow.
"Yes. He is planning to do so by trying to manipulate his niece. But he did not know that his niece already exposed him to me." Yu Qi made the peace sign. "How do you know his niece betrayed him?" Long Hui was interested to know.
"Don't talk like that. It is not betraying at all since she is not on his side to begin with." Yu Qi pouted.
"Oh... She is not on his side?" Long Hui smiled.
Yu Qi was lost in her thoughts while watching Long Hui's smile. "Qi Qi... Qi Qi..." Long Hui waved his hand in front of Yu Qi.
Yu Qi was snapped back to reality. She coughed once to cover her embarrassment. "I am sorry... Well, yeah. She never likes the Bai Family. Moreover, she hates them." Yu Qi stated.
"Hate them? Why? Is she also from the Bai Family too?" Long Hui asked.
"Well, she is the daughter of Bai Gu Wen, Bai Xia Fang's younger sister. Her surname is Quan. Well, she also has Bai's family blood in her veins. But she hated it because of her mother. Her mother also looked down on her father and her. She grew up like that. How can she like her mother now?" Yu Qi explained. "Then, it is good for you to have her by your side? But can you be sure that she will not cause any trouble for you?" Long Hui asked.
"I don't think so. It seems that girl treats me as her idol." Yu Qi said.
Lei Yingtai told Yu Qi about that. Quon Hou Chi once told Lei Yingtai about that when Lei Yingtai asked her why she exposed Bai Xia Fang's scheme. Quan Hou Chi told Lei Yingtai that she came to apply for an internship here because she liked the chairwoman whom was Yu Qi. "Like you?" Long Hui narrowed his eyes. "Hmm..." Yu Qi nodded.
"Hmm... I see..." Long Hui smiled.
Long Hui was thinking of going and taking a look at Quon Hou Chi to determine how she was. Quon Hou Chi who just finished writing a report sneezed. Her nose was itching just now. The food arrived and they started to eat. The food was pretty good. Yu Qi patted her stomach after finished eating.
"I am full." Yu Qi said.
"Hmm... We still have another two hours before your shift starts. What should we do?" Long Hui asked.
"Hmm... Let's return home for now. I want to take some rest inside my space." Yu Qi said
"Nice idea." Long Hui nodded.
So, they went to the counter to pay the bill and left the restaurant. They were about to go to the parking lot when they heard the sudden alarm.
Then, the announcement could be heard through the shopping mall. "A fire had just occurred. Everyone, please evacuate immediately. But please, calm down and don't panic." Yu Qi looked at Long Hui. People started to rush to the emergency stairs. They were running very fast to save their lives. Someone from the security department came over and guided the people to evacuate without panic.
"Everyone, don't push each other. Don't panic. You will be saved." The person said.
Everyone was running in scared but Yu Qi and Long Hui were calm and accessed situation.
"Did you hear which floor caused the fire from the announcement?" Yu Qi asked.
"No." Long Hui said. "Well, let's evacuate with others." Yu Qi said.
"Sir, Madam, you can not go up." The security stopped a couple.
"My son and daughter are up there. We need to go and get them." A woman shouted while crying.
She had been held by another man. That was probably her husband. "My son is also upstairs." Another woman also cried.
"We can not allow you to go upstairs. We need to wait for the firefighter to go and save your children." The security said.
"You want me to wait? Wait until you guys bring back my son's corpse? No, I will not wait here." The woman struggled to go upstairs.
"Brother Hui... I want to help them." Yu Qi could not let this go.
Long Hui chuckled. "Sure." He also knew that his beloved Qi Qi would be going to help them. "Let's scan the building." Yu Qi said
Both of them used their cultivation power to see what was going on here. They found out that the huge fire was on the Ninth floor where the arcade was.
