"Tina, did you think we brought you back to just sit around and be protected? You are now our daughter. Call me and Sei, Mama. Come on, you can do it."
Tina's lips twitched. Didn't they say they were just going to protect her from bullies? Since when did it change!? She began to wonder if she had suddenly found herself in some kind of cult. "You…. You never said anything like that!"
"Hmmm? I am sure I did. Didn't I say that you should stick with us and become our daughter? You agreed right away. Since you agreed, you have to follow through. Now call us Mama." Yana replied without much thought. Sei was pressing her face into Yana's back, her shoulders trembling. She was finding this very amusing.
"Yeah, call us Aunty." Bi Ling had no idea what was going on, but it sounded fun, so she decided to play along as well.
