Chapter 1109 The Colosseum Part 5
"Master, we have been here a month. When do you plan to start fighting?" Nancy asked. Ever since Kana reached the fiftieth floor, she had not even left the room she was given to go fight anyone.
"Hmmm? Has it really been that long already?" Kana asked. She was sitting in her underwear with a holo headset on, playing some kind of game.
"Yes, it has. The people from the colosseum have come a few times now. Even the two maids have been sitting around drinking beer since they have nothing to do." Nancy did not know what happened, but after a week, the two maids settled into a very lazy lifestyle. Of course, they did not ask her to do anything for them, but they were just sitting around all day doing nothing but getting drunk.
"Let them relax a bit. There is no reason…. Ahhh crap, I was supposed to dodge that!" Kana let out a sigh. Since she did not have a chip installed, she could not enjoy the game as it was intended and had to use controllers to move her character around. Otherwise, she could lie down and sleep and play, which would allow her to move the character as if it was her own body, but sadly, she had no plans to get such a chip.
"Master!" Nancy wanted to go home if they were not going to do anything!
"Fine…" Kana took off the headset. She then sniffed the air and asked: "Did you not take the trash out?"
"It's because you haven't bathed for a month!" Nancy wanted to wash Kana a few times but she would get slapped away and told not to bother her while she played. She would only put the game down when she cooked meat!
Kana pursed her lips and stood up. "I going to bathe…."
An hour later, Kana came out of the bath feeling refreshed. She could never act like this in front of her handsome husband. She would die if he smelled her stinking so badly. Thinking about her husband, she felt a little bad since she had not contacted him in a while. She waved her hand to see him in the bath washing up and grinned from ear to ear. "Creige! Can you stand up for me?"
"Kana?" Creige turned his head to see a small water screen next to him. He smiled and stood up, making sure he took his time when spinning around.
"Mmm… My handsome husband is still the handsomest." Kana nodded her head in approval. "When we go back, don't think about going to classes for a few days."
"Alright." Creige nodded. He would never reject his wife. He sat back into the hot water and asked: "How are things on your world?"
"It's fine. I somehow became super rich, and now I fighting my way up a tower thing to kill time. I told you about our new grandchild, right?" Kana began going on and on about Ishtar. Creige listened to her talk with a smile on his face. He could listen to Kana talk about anything, and he would sit there and listen seriously.
Kana ended up talking to Creige for almost four hours. He had time to finish his bath, cook, eat, and even lay down to rest. But even while doing all these things, he remembered every word she said and would comment here and there.
After saying goodbye to Creige, she finally left her bedroom and went to the kitchen. "Nancy, can you cook some me…."
"No! You had meat yesterday and the day before. So no meat today. You will eat a healthy meal tonight and then have us moved a few floors up." Nancy just wanted to go home after wasting so much time here. She had so many things she had to prepare before she left with Kana to return to her world.
"Alright…." Kana pouted and walked out to the living area. She had no choice but to eat and hurry to the top floor.
Five hours later…..
"Miss Kana, welcome to the ninetieth floor!" Kana truly did the impossible and reached from the fiftieth floor all the way to the ninetieth floor in five hours. This was because she asked the people of the colosseum to gather all the people from each floor in one ring, and then she beat them all up. It took longer to gather the fighters than it did for Kana to take them out. This was why it took five hours to begin with. The fight alone only lasted one minute.
A few minutes later, Kana, the two maids from before, and Nancy were now in a new room. "Let's take a week's break." Kana walked over to the gaming room and laid her hands on the headset, and sat down.
Nancy watched as Kana put it on and got lost in her game again, and the two other maids had already sat on the couch with beers in their hands. She held her head, wondering what she was going to do with these people!
While Kana was taking a break, Bi Ling was standing in front of a young man who was currently squatting on the floor holding his family jewels. Her eyes were cold as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. "My sister said she does not like you. Why do you keep bothering her!?"
"I only wanted to try to get her to see my good points! Why did you kick me down there!?" The young man asked. His face was pale, and he was speaking at a higher volume than normal.
"Because you tried to force my sister to follow you. Harassing my sister is punishable by death, but Mama told me to behave, so I am only giving you a kick this time. Do you want me to help you become a female, then you can date yourself?" Bi Ling did not like this young man at all. She had heard a few things he had said, and it was as if he was trying to coax a child with candy. Her sister was much older than him!
