At 3:00 in the morning, Bai Jingrou began to yawn frequently. She struggled to even keep her eyelids apart.
Thus, she said to Fang Xinxin, “Cousin-in-law, I’m really too tired. I’ll visit a nearby hotel to rest for a while. You should get some rest soon.”

She muttered to herself. “Dad, I wonder when you’ll finally wake up. I really regret not being able to take good care of you in the past. I hope you’ll wake up and give me another opportunity to do so. I really wish to hear you calling me your ‘precious daughter’ again.”
Long Yifan’s left hand trembled ever so slightly. As his hands were tucked beneath the sheets, Fang Xinxin did not notice this.
