Chapter 305: A Kiss
She thoughtfully poured him a cup of tea and handed it to him.
Bai Qinghao shifted his heated but distant gaze onto her.
Right now, her entire face was covered in scabs. Her skin had yet to properly peel.
It was similar to the type of scabs that formed on open surface wounds. The dried scabs were dark brown in colour. They were as disgusting as one’s imagination would make them out to be.
Even she struggled to look in the mirror with her current appearance.
However, once these scabs healed, she would recover her original, beautiful appearance.
His gaze was far too difficult to read. She struggled to understand his emotions but sensed that he did not disdain her poor appearance.
This discovery filled her with joy.
Seeing that he did not receive the cup, she lifted it and specially kissed the rim of it with a loud smack. She then brought it close to him.
Bai Qinghao watched her in confusion. “What are you up to?”
“You’re covered in a serious stench of sweat...” She did not answer his question.
She then pinched a short, thick hair that had landed on his clothes. “You must have just shaved. You didn’t even shower...”
Bai Qinghao’s expression turned gradually darker. The light in his eyes also immediately faded. He had rushed back from the jungle overnight just to see her. There wasn’t any time for a shower before he had to board the helicopter.
As the clothes he had been wearing prior were too dirty, he had changed into a clean set of clothes and shaved on the helicopter. He then headed straight for her school.
He did not expect her to be dissatisfied with his appearance.
The pilot in the front row was wearing headphones. He did not hear their conversation.
Liu Li, the bodyguard next to him however, was listening attentively.

Before she could finish, she received Bai Qinghao’s kiss as an answer to her question.
Fang Xinxin was dumbstruck. She was still holding onto the cup and nearly forgot to breath.
There were others in the helicopter with them. Her expression turned shy.
From the front row, Liu Li watched in shock as his boss delivered a punishment to Fang Xinxin.
Boss actually kissed Fang Xinxin?!?
His heart felt overwhelmed.
Every time a subordinate provoked the boss, he would be punished with a thousand push-ups or a hundred laps... Regardless of his choice, the person would be thoroughly exhausted after hard labour and be forced to shave off one-third of their lives.
Fang Xinxin sure had it easy. No matter if she was being rewarded or punished, it was always through Boss’s kiss.
Of course, he was not jealous that Fattie Fang had an advantage as a woman.
He was simply angry. Their handsome and wise boss was meant to be accompanied by a woman who was as beautiful as a flower, with a thin waist and explosively stunning figure. No matter what, she was not supposed to be as ugly as Fang Xinxin!

The helicopter descended in the Yu Ting Villa’s backyard. More than twenty maids stood in two neat rows to receive them.
Butler Zhao saw that the helicopter door did not open for quite some time. He waited for a moment and could not control his curiosity and leaned in for a look.
The woman’s back was facing him. He could not see her face, but her figure was not familiar to him.
