Long Shuhai pointed at the bags in Fang Xinxin’s hands in anger. “I thought it was those five premium outfits.”
The employees in the store became unhappy. The manager spoke up. “Sir, your niece clearly asked if you were buying five sets of premium outfits from our store. The bags that she is holding don’t even belong to our store.”
Fang Xinxin also chimed in at this point. “That’s right, second uncle. I was referring to this Italian brand’s premium outfits.”
She brought out the items, piece by piece, from the paper bags she was holding and waved them in the air. “These five outfits from my bags are clearly low-quality imitation goods from a second-rate market. How could they possibly be branded outfits?”
Long Shuhai immediately understood the situation. The dumb wench had already noticed that the clothes wee imitation goods but pretended to play along. Fang Xinxin had intentionally fooled him into buying the expensive, premium outfits!

“What’s wrong with it?” Fang Xinxin asked him innocently. “Didn’t you display your generosity in every shop we visited? You even said that the clothes worth more than a hundred thousand dollars were also not expensive, and that I could buy as much as I wanted to, didn’t you?”
He was trying to be morally superior after taking part in a slimy act again. Did he think it would be so easy to fool her again?

Fang Manxue, who was being accompanied by another employee to look at some clothes, noticed the commotion by the cashier and rushed over. “What happened?”
The store manager summarised the events for her.
Fang Manxue realised that her second uncle had fallen for Fang Xinxin’s tricks and lost three hundred thousand dollars. She asked him gloomily. “Second uncle, why didn’t you check the bill before paying it!”
Long Shuhai had nowhere to vent his anger. “Isn’t it all because Fang Xinxin misled me?”
Fang Xinxin pretended to be innocent. “When did I mislead you? You were the one who said you wanted to foot the bill. I confirmed with you again and again. Why didn’t you say anything then? If you didn’t want to pay for those clothes, what did you come to the counter for?”
“That’s right.” The store manager chimed in. “This fat... lady is the most reasonable one here.”
Long Shuhai nearly vomited out blood from anger. Now that things had ended up this way, he had no choice but to accept it. “I came here to pay two hundred dollars...”
He pointed at the employee with the surname Wang. “I agreed with her beforehand that I would leave my counterfeit goods... here. They were kept in a different store’s shopping bag. I was going to pay her two hundred dollars for the trouble.”
The store manager and the rest of the employees immediately understood what was going on.

The employee spoke, “If you bought your clothes in a different store and only left them here to be stored temporarily, why would we charge you any fees? My employee hasn’t accepted your two hundred dollars.”
