1640 Something Is Going to Happen to Huang Chong

Chai Qing and Huang Chong’s faces turned flustered at Yuan Yuan’s shout.

Afraid that Yuan Yuan would hate her, Chai Qing immediately sold Huang Chong out and hurriedly said, “Sister Yuan, it wasn’t me, it wasn’t me. It was Huang Chong. He kicked the door open, so I came in!”

Huang Chong didn’t expect Chai Qing to turn on him. He was so angry that his face turned green. He wanted to explain, but when he looked up and met Yuan Yuan’s cold gaze, he was alarmed and forgot what he wanted to say.

“Get lost!” Yuan Yuan was furious.

!!

Huang Chong and Chai Qing were so scared that they hurriedly went out. Before they left, however, Huang Chong vaguely saw a red light. Curious, he subconsciously turned his head and looked in the direction of the red light, only to see Yuan Yuan staring at him with a hideous smile and murderous intent. Huang Chong was so scared that he hurriedly turned away. When he left and closed the door, he still felt lingering fear and shock at Yuan Yuan’s terrifying expression just now.

For a moment, he really thought that he had uncovered some secret he shouldn’t have, and that Yuan Yuan wanted to kill him for it.

Huang Chong’s right eyelid twitched. Chai Qing also felt guilty at that moment. After all, the two of them were now on the same side; offending Huang Chong would only do more harm than good. Chai Qing pretended to be pitiful and immediately explained, “Huang Chong, I didn’t mean it just now. I’m sorry. Wasn’t Sister Yuan too fierce? I was flustered and said something I shouldn’t have. Don’t be angry with me. I didn’t mean it!”

After what Chai Qing said earlier, Huang Chong had a far less favorable impression of her. However, it wasn’t good for him as a man to bicker with a woman. He didn’t pay much attention to her, and turned around to return to his room.

Chai Qing, who was ignored, flew into a rage out of humiliation. She felt even more that Huang Chong was too petty. She had to be careful of such a petty person in the future. Who knew, this person might trip her up at any moment. After being angry for a long time, Chai Qing turned around and went back to her room.

In the bedroom, Yuan Yuan’s expression was a bit uncertain as she continued to stare at the door. She quickly picked up the doll – it was blue in color and was actually a set of matryoshka dolls.

The name “Yang Ji” was written on the back of the largest doll, and it was starting to fade. If one didn’t take a closer look, they wouldn’t be able to tell at all that the words were “Yang Ji,” and they would only see a bit of blood.

Yuan Yuan stared at the faded “Yang Ji” on the doll with a very cold, unsightly and apprehensive expression. She was afraid that when she woke up the next day, it would be her name that was suddenly on the back of the doll.

Yuan Yuan gritted her teeth and pondered for a moment. Suddenly, she bit her finger and wrote the name “Huang Chong” on the back of the doll in blood. Once she was done, a red light flashed, and the name seemed to be engraved on the doll, and couldn’t be erased.

The faces of all the matryoshka dolls suddenly seemed to have expressions, and the corners of their lips curled up stiffly.

Not long after, all the faces suddenly disappeared, and an image suddenly appeared on the largest doll. At a construction site, an excavator suddenly crashed through the construction fence. The arm of the excavator suddenly came down and cut a passer-by in half. Blood instantly sprayed out of both torso parts as he fell to the ground. The excavator seemed to be out of control. As the person screamed, the excavator arm came down again, and smashed his face flat. Skin and flesh were stuck to the excavator bucket. The person’s face was a bloody mess as he twitched and trembled in pain.

Not only that, the excavator wound up cutting the person into more than a dozen pieces and grinding him into the road everywhere before it was brought under control. The scene was especially ghastly.

In the end, the image froze on Huang Chong’s stiff and cold face.

Not long after, the faces reappeared on the dolls, but this time, they were smeared with blood, which looked especially ghastly and terrifying.

Yuan Yuan’s hands were covered in blood.

She was already familiar with this set of dolls, so she wasn’t afraid of this abnormality. Instead, she gently touched the doll in her hand and watched the entire scene.

Yuan Yuan naturally knew that what she had seen was Huang Chong’s end. At the same time, this was her ‘foresight.’ From the moment this image appeared, Huang Chong would definitely die in a few days.

Not only was there no trace of sympathy on her face, she was glad it wasn’t her. As for whether Huang Chong died or not, it had nothing to do with her.

The smug smile which appeared on Yuan Yuan’s face made one’s hair stand on end.

It wasn’t long before she immediately put the dolls back in the safe.

Perhaps it was a psychological effect, but that night, Yuan Yuan didn’t have the nightmare again. Not only that, she didn’t have any nightmares for the next two or three days. Moreover, when she took out the dolls from the safe every night, the word “Huang Chong” on the back of the largest doll hadn’t changed at all.

Yuan Yuan was in a very good mood and her attitude toward Huang Chong and Chai Qing was pretty good. Huang Chong and Chai Qing sighed with relief.

Chai Qing was as talkative as ever and fawned on Yuan Yuan. As for Huang Chong, after that night, he spoke less and had mixed feelings about Yuan Yuan.

That day, Huang Chong took the initiative to tell Yuan Yuan that he wanted to go and see Yang Ji and the others at the police station, and Yuan Yuan was especially agreeable. After Huang Chong rushed out the door, Chai Qing couldn’t help but fan the flames. “Sister Yuan, Huang Chong has no conscience. He knows that Yang Ji and the others are deliberately targeting you, but he still continues to be friends with them. I really don’t know if you or Yang Ji and the others are more important in Huang Chong’s heart!” After a pause, Chai Qing continued to flatter her solicitously. “I won’t do that. If Yang Ji and the others dare to treat you like before, I won’t have anything to do with them in the future. They have no conscience, but I do!”

Yuan Yuan was very pleased at Chai Qing’s words. She didn’t reply as she stared at Huang Chong’s departing back. A cold, gloating smile appeared on her lips.
