Chapter 2073 Surrender

Sam and Arkiv are touring around the Olympian region. They are having a pleasant time when they arrive at a street.

"What are we doing here?" Arkiv asked.

"Watching my latest creation." Sam smiled as he pointed toward Stone.

Arkiv was a bit surprised. After all, who would ever imagine creation being a fellow person? But he knew how eccentric Sam's creations could be. He just stayed put and waited to see a show. Stone walked in the street as if it is just another afternoon.

At the corner of the street all of a sudden, he sprung into action and dashed forward. A young man who wore Zeus Academy's uniform was coming.

He was caught off guard by Stone's sudden approach.

*BOOM*

Stone tackled him to the ground and both of them slid on the ground for a few feet before they came to halt. Stone held that mount position and started pounding the target like crazy. The Zeus Academy student felt like his life felt his body for a moment and came back again.

He couldn't breathe, couldn't see properly and couldn't even feel his own body.

He tried his best to calm himself down, but he couldn't even muster his spiritual energy to defend against Stone's attacks. However, he managed to take out token from his storage and crushed it.

Stone felt some energy fluctuations from behind.

*SWOOSH*

A wheel kick just went past the spot where his head was. He barely dodged it and looked at the newcomers with vigilance. There are three people who surrounded Stone from all directions. They are all Freshmen and just from a glance he recognized them.

Whenever he wasn't training or fighting the targets, he tried his best to gain knowledge about the Zeus Academy.

He recognized these three immediately. They rank within top 25 within the Zeus Academy or even all of the Olympian Academies, they are really good.

Of course, anyone who saw Stone's performance at the ceremony should have sent more than three above-average fighters and people from Zeus Academy are not stupid enough to not realize it.

Stone was ready to fight when he sensed a threatening presence from behind. An arrow whistled through the air almost hit him. It was very stealthy to the point he barely managed to pick up the energy fluctuations from it.

In the last second, he slapped the arrow to the side while lunging towards the target. He didn't want to change his tactics. He dodged the arrows and the attacks from the three around him and reached the target.

Instead of attacking the target on the same spot, he kicked him and that kick launched that guy to the far end of the street. Stone's energy riled up as he kicked the ground and launched himself horizontally.

He was like a bullet slicing through the air and reached the other end with no time.

He wanted to control the fight with his speed. Since the other party wanted to subdue him with numbers and long-range attacks, he will simply be out of reach and out of range for both of them.

The next thing they knew the city saw a performance of Stone dribbling a cultivator through the streets. He treated the target like a ball and every kick sent the other party through the air, or passing through the buildings and sometimes leaving craters on the street.

Not a single arrow managed to land anywhere close to him after the first arrow was deflected. As for the three people that wanted to surround him, they were unable to catch up with him.

However, they didn't panic, because this is not exactly the full extent of their plan and merely the beginning. Exactly five minutes after their intervention in the fight, Stone felt a far more threatening presence aimed at his back. He hurriedly picked up the target and turned around using him as a meat shield and the attack aimed at him stopped.

A Grade 2 student is levitating with his leg aimed at the throat of the target. His eyes met Stone's.

"You are dead meat today. No city guards are going to save you."

As he spoke, he bypassed the target and threw a Kick at Stone's shoulder from the side.

Stone blocked the attack, but was still swept away from the force as he landed on the street.

He stood up with a smile.

"We will see about that."

"You are way too confident for a guy who's about to die."

"You would like to think so, wouldn't you? Too bad. I came prepared." Stone replied with utmost confidence. Sam said everything would be fine and he completely trusted Sam. The next moment, the senior felt three people closing in on them.

Sia, Gyan, and Jwala.

All three of them appeared, however, they were in their disguises. They are in dark robes covering their faces completely with skull masks and they are glowing as if they are on fire. On the left side of the chest and on the back of the robes, flaming skulls are engraved.

It wouldn't take a genius to figure out what organization they belong to and why they are here.

"Flaming Skulls?" The senior asked in sudden surprise.

He instantly took out his communication to relay the news, however, the three new arrivals didn't have any intention of letting him do that.

*BOOM*

With an explosion a phoenix conjured of pure flames appeared behind the senior and attacked him. When he dodged, Sia was waiting for him to appear in that location. She threw an attack aimed right at his throat.

The senior dodged it with utmost difficulty and that made him vulnerable to Gyan's sneak attack from the back.

Jwala controlled the battlefield. She has to use everything she has with each attack. She is fighting with a Middle stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivator, she can't really afford to hold back. If her attacks have to pose any threat, she has to go all out.

That made the senior vigilant and even though he is throwing long-range energy attacks to disrupt Jwala, Sia and Gyan are making it hard for him to maintain any sort of precision.

The three of them are perfectly suited to deal with him. The worst part for him is, it is almost like they knew all of his weaknesses. They are always in his blind spots and weak spots aiming for the most dangerous areas on his body.

He always had to be on guard.

He couldn't care less about Stone. He has to be careful so that he doesn't lose his own life. Meanwhile, Stone made himself busy, he picked up the target and threw him into the sky. He kicked the ground and shot himself like a bullet.

He kicked the target to the side and before he could crash, Stone increased his speed and intercepted the target's trajectory kicking him once again.

He started playing tennis by himself. Instead of a racket, he used his leg and instead of a ball, he used the target. The punishment was vicious. Soon with every kick, blood started spraying out of the target's body and small pieces of flesh were shaved off of the target's body.

When the city guards finally came there, Stone landed one final attack smashing into the ground, before he came down and surrendered.

Too bad, the city guards cannot do shit if the person is not resisting. They would have loved to kill Stone then and there and they knew they would get a handsome reward from the Zeus Academy.

At the same time, the trio wearing the flaming skull outfits also stopped whatever they were doing. The senior is lying down in a crater as he looks wearily at the city guards. If only they had come sooner.

But he could only blame himself for that. he was the one who instructed the city guards to not show up immediately.

While he was thinking, Sia took out a small cube and threw it at him after activating it.

The next second with a silent explosion a few streaks of energy crept into the senior's body.

"What the fuck are you doing?"

The city guards were about to attack, but the three of them raised their hands and showed that they surrendered.

One of the guards contacted someone from the Zeus Academy before he ran and checked up on the senior.

The senior's body is paralyzed. He didn't lose consciousness, but he was definitely not in his right mind. He has the semblance of his surroundings and looks like he is about to go crazy.

His energy is rapidly circulating, but the circulation path is not exactly ideal. It is very chaotic and unstable.

He is on the verge of death, but for some reason, oddly he doesn't look like he will die.

The city guards arrested the four of them.

At this moment, Christos came along with a bunch of Second-grade students.

"Leave them. Forget this happened. We will take care of them."

One of Christos' lackeys yelled.
