Chapter 2065 Stone's Target
That day, the Noble league made an announcement and Christos as a representative of the Noble league was the one who made it.
He gathered the first-grade students of the Zeus Academy and a few people from the other Olympian academies in the Zeus academy's ground and made the announcement to get the maximum impact.
He revealed the details of Bronte's training and released the intricate training details. He also revealed that they signed an extremely expensive contract which he cannot reveal the details of, with the hub and Joker to even get a chance to train with this method.
Just like Joker suggested, he used the influence of an instructor to add credibility.
The instructor who is actually known for training some great fighters in the recent history came out and said that he did some research and even simulated some of the training exercises and he said that it is the best training method that would suite Bronte.
He openly admitted that even if he collaborated with a bunch of professors within the Zeus Academy, it will be impossible to create the same effects.
The credibility stuck. No one questioned about the training credibility after that and they became inclined to believe that whatever they said is true. Bronte's reputation was cleared.
However, the rumors about the training escalated.
They couldn't even be called rumors anymore, because of they are talking openly about it. They were all wondering what kind of deal did Christos sign with Hub and Joker to get into this special training program.
This also prompted many people in the Academies to want to be a part of this program.
They wanted that special training and people started approaching Joker through hub asking about it. However, all they gained is a clean and cold rejection. Sam didn't show any sign of offering them or opening up this training program.
The students became a bit envious and anxious.
They already experience some crushing defeat because of the current top ten holders. These people are dominant beyond belief and any one of them would have reigned over the realm at any point of time since the inception of the realm.
However, they are all present in the realm at the same time.
And these students are also part of this realm at the same goddamn time. They felt this suppression that stemmed from their inferiority.
They couldn't help but feel like they are being left behind and they will have to live in mediocrity, however hub brought up a solution for them.
They saw a glimpse of it because of the overwhelming victory that Bronte obtained. He got a good ranking, his improvement is plain as a day, so they have a chance.
Only, if only they could get into the training program….
After the announcement was made, Christos and a lot of people from Noble league appeared at the Hub. They are here for signing of the contracts.
Everyone of them signed a soul contract based on the conditions Sam or rather Joker put up and they are all now officially part of the Hub's training program.
The training will start from the very next day and this is the last free day they will have.
After the contract signing is done, Sam moved the next plan into action. He went to visit Stone who was cultivating diligently.
"How are you feeling? Have you gotten used to your new body yet?"
Sam asked.
Stone fell on his knees with a smile and kowtowed.
"Thank you for your generosity, now I am wielding a power that shouldn't have been mine."
"I told you, stop?this. I might be a narcissist, but not to this extent. You can keep the reverence within your mind and don't need let it show.
Anyway, I already set the stage for you. I want you to execute the plan that I assigned to you. You are going to start it from today.
Your first target is right now making their way to the hub. You must remember, make it grand, make it slow, make it ruthless. Take out your anger on them.
By the time this is done, you should have no anger left against these people."
"I don't know if it is possible sir."
"Trust me, it is more than possible. It is easier than you think."
Stone didn't answer and just bowed before he walked out. The band on his wrist projected a holographic screen out and it showed the details of the person that he is going to target today.
These are the details of a first grade student of the Zeus Academy. The student is one of the lowest ranked in the academy. However, he has a nasty reputation from back home. A creepy guy whose sole purpose was growing his harem.
Upon reading until this point, Stone didn't bother to read any more personal information, he didn't care about anything else and dove straight to the details about his strength, elemental control and other details regarding his lackeys, hidden weapons etc.
One more thing he noticed is the details about his unruly behavior even in this Academic realm. And the reason behind that is he is the son of one of the clans that rules a realm. They believe in Olympian gods and they are just as unruly as their gods.
On top of all that, he has an elder brother who is mid-ranked person in third grade students of the Zeus Academy.
So, he has some backing.
The details disappeared when he swiped the screen and now it showed a map with a pin of the target within the city.
Stone ran at full speed and arrived at the location within no time. they are almost at the outskirts of the city, this guy was indeed moving to the Hub, two more minutes he could have gotten out of the city and went to the entrance of the Hub.
There are many people at the entrance who were also about do the same.
*BOOM*
Stone jumped high into the air and landed right in front of the target.
He left a crater beneath his feet.
The target jumped back in a hurry and blocked the shockwave that came from Stone's landing. He looked at stone angrily.
"Who the fuck are you? How dare you?"
He yelled without holding back. There are two more people beside him. And they also showed their hostility openly, they got ready to fight.
Even though Stone has been popular lately, a lot of people never actually saw him. The event that happened that night was a special event with limited entry. The target might have some status back home, but here is just a small fry and he couldn't get in even if he wanted.
Even his brother is utterly unqualified to get a pass.
The target and his lackeys surrounded Stone. The target asked stone.
"Who the fuck are you? Are you here to pick a fight with me? Speak up you bastard…"
*PAK*
The crisp slap landed cleanly.
As he yelled, Stone lunged forward and threw a slap across his face.
*BOOM*
The target flew in the air and fell over like ragdoll on the street. His face skid on the gravel it painting a very gruesome picture. It was bad and humiliating. He sat up with difficulty. Not because he was injured, however, that slap did make his head unstable.
He felt a bit dizzy.
His two lackeys didn't make a move. They stood rooted and stunned.
Only when they saw Stone walk towards their target, did they come back to their senses and make their move.
"You fucking bastard. Stop right there."
One of them yelled, but both of them attacked. A sword and a punch flew towards Stone. However, Stone didn't bother with them, with his perverted agility he dodged the attacks in unnatural angles as he made his way to the target.
He moved slowly, he didn't sprint or jump at the target. He is composed. He knew that it would take a few seconds for the target to get out of that daze.
It doesn't matter how strong someone's cultivation level is and how strong their spiritual energy, once a strong and equally powerful slap lands on the ears like that, it will shake their brain a bit and it will take some time to recover.
He has been on receiving end of it, for quite a long time.
Only when he was two feet away did the other party, the target come back to his senses and looked at Stone in horror.
"W… Who are y…?"
*PAK*
Stone slapped the target once again, this time since the other party was already sitting on the ground, his head hit the ground faster and he skid much further away. Since he was in the middle of saying something, he tongue came out of his mouth and was dragged against the rough street.
*ARGH*
He tried to scream, but he couldn't properly do it. his tongue was bleeding.
